A very entertaining game and some great performances. Having Carson and Sutherland back in the team makes a real difference. Billy too is looking very sharp but MOTM for me was Allardice who won some balls he had no right to, moved the ball forward well and had 2 or 3 surging runs. I thought he was immense today. We should have won rather more comfortably, but if we continue to play with that intensity and quality we should be winning a lot more than we lose.3 points

Well, we made it look hard work in the end, but I thought we played pretty well most of the time. Could easily have been 4-0 up before Queens fight back. But all in all a good night's work. Lets hope for slip ups from Killie and Raith tomorrow.3 points

Pleased with the performance as well as the result. Have we improved on recent weeks or were we just up against a pretty poor side who defended badly? Bit of both, I’d say. A Friday night win always gets the weekend off to a great start. Cheers!3 points

Great win Never in doubt. Dominated the game. Worked for each other. Enjoyed that cheers.3 points

Tonight showed we are not far away. We’ve missed Carson and Sutherland. Both back and we win…….3 points

We made life unnecessarily difficult for ourselves for the last quarter of an hour but, on the whole, that was a heartening and entertaining performance. A vital three points stopping the rot of half a dozen league games without a win and putting a wee bit of pressure on our promotion rivals for tomorrow. Can't decide between Billy, Dave or Roddy for my MOM so will give it to the small but highly vocal band who made the long journey to Dumfries on a dark late November evening and who won't be in their beds until the wee small hours. If we continue to play like this and tighten up at the back we may not be far away come the business end of the season.3 points

MacGregor is really up for it. He’s been class so far tonight. Devine unlucky not to get the second there. Great run in box but header just wide.3 points

The very best of luck and very safe travels to you and the team, there and back. Sorry I’m now too old to go to such a faraway evening game, I’ve been before to an evening game there and took days to recover, but I will be on the ICT Travel Club Bus to all the other away games as usual. Please bring back three points please and I’ll be shouting at the tv with my rattle in hand!3 points

But we got a deserved win. We all know Doran is not best suited to plastic pitches so he was only playing due to Gardyne and Walsh being missing. Allardice rightly gets the plaudits for his performance in midfield but McAlear went about his business quietly and the whole team contributed to the win.2 points

He is a very good player in the midfield for us as always and tonight was no exception. With a good team performance they managed to keep going after Queens scored which we haven't been doing in the last few weeks. Well done to all tonight2 points

I heard the rattle as well so I think Jenny must have been at the game tonight. A happy bus coming home I am sure they will be stopping for a wee refreshment2 points

I heard your rattle Lizi loud and clear............ well Inverness is closer to me than Palmerstion2 points

Totally agree. Carson can be a match winner with his crosses, Sutherland such a miss in midfield, when he’s not in the team there’s such a difference of loss of good passes. Particularly noticed when he has to go off injured - the team loses shape. Onwards now for ICT with them both in the team plus of course Billy and Roddy.2 points

Impressed with our first half performance. We are very lively upfront.2 points

Same half time scoreline as last week. Same scorer. Now we need to make absolutely sure that that's where the similarities to last week ends. Vital that we hold onto this lead if we are not going to lose touch with our promotion rivals.2 points

My post sounds like I had a great time at evening games at Dumfries - it was totally lack of sleep that I had trouble recovering from! Honest!2 points

Jenny actually has a bigger rattle than me!! So we can be double trouble at times.1 point
-
I thought it was you that sat in front of me with the rattle and after making a comment on here about the noise you were making a few weeks back and the next game I asked "are you Lizi? No she replied I am Jenny" That was me speechless well for a few minutes!1 point
-
When Jennie and I sit near each other, our rattles make a good noise! All good for our ICT.1 point

4 hours back up the road. Love the win, but this won't be fun1 point

I enjoyed that. First half we played some great stuff. Second half tighter. I went with Mckay for MOM, closely followed by Allardice and MacGregor, but Carson and Sutherland also had very good games. That’s only our third away win, but we deserved it, but we need to be more clinical when ahead. Much better than recent weeks though.1 point

Yes! We needed that! Deserved win but that late goal made me nervous!1 point

An important 10 minutes ahead. We need to win this one. How did we not score there? Mckay off the bar after great play by Allardice.1 point

We always seem better when Sutherland is in the support role.1 point

We need a second while we are on top. The heady days of the start of the season when we could be confident of hanging onto a 1-0 lead are a distant memory.1 point

A stonewall penalty well taken. This time can we please not squander the lead.1 point

Looking forward to this one, which is an opportunity to get things back on track. We often raise our game on tv, as we did in the same fixture last season. More of that will do me just fine. The lack of numbers in the squad is becoming an issue, and if it continues we may need to get some of those out on loan back, particularly Fyffe or Nicolson as we are light on defenders. As mentioned on another thread, I’d give MacGregor a run in the “no 10” role if Sutherland is not fit to start. McDonald is due a start on the wing also to see if he can contribute more than Walsh. The downside is them having Innes Cameron who had a habit of scoring against us when with Ayr and Alloa. Whatever our line up, let’s hope we put on a good show and get the three points.1 point
-
Dominate the midfield, keep pushing forward, get numbers in the opponents box quicker then it will start going right. Attack is the best form of defence, use it. Basically the Team haS GOT IT but they must be consistent keep the pressure on. moistakes in the box lead to goals and that is what we are lacking.1 point

Sometimes team spirit can be completely ruined by the actions of one person. Who knows1 point

Doran been woeful as has McAlear. Put MacGregor into cm and put Mcdonald right....0 points
