  1. Great to get the win but that was hard work to watch in the second half. From cruising at 3-0 to hanging on for dear life and looking like we might easily lose in the space of a few minutes, we still look fragile. Well done to the boys for steadying a bit towards the end and hanging on. And top marks to big Dunc for coming over to the fans and showing his delight at the end

  2. Yes, still would like to see him and Gardiner gone from our club.

  3. Phew. But we won! We’ve won a game! We scored 3 goals too!

  4. I was supposed to be going to this match but something cropped up this morning and I was gutted to have to change plans. But I was confident we were going to win, and with the money I saved on a ticket I backed us at the very generous odds that were available.

  5. BBC: "Goal! Arbroath 0, Inverness CT 3. Billy Mckay (Inverness CT) left footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner. Assisted by Mark Ridgers." That will be the one time per season that the massive hoof upfield from Ridgers actualy comes off Don't let Big Dunc buy any lottery tickets today - or he won't need a job tomorrow

  6. Dodds back on the radio today seeming perplexed about why he was punted while Chick Young and but chums wax lyrical about caley being rash and Billy being treated unfair. Also ducking and weaving any acknowledgement or interest into the action at Gayfield. If Dodds genuinely never saw this coming or thought there were issues then hes clearly as narcissistic and deluded as the rest at the club.

  7. Ok there is an undoubted overwhelming stench of currant bunnary within the club and we are classed as the Sevco of the north by all other supporters. Having said that Big Duncs appointment has put shock waves throughout the football world a lot further than just Scotland. Master stroke or disaster I think it will become clearer sooner rather than later but I wish the big man all the luck in the world. One thing this appointment has done has highlighted how many ICT fans support either side of the old firm something I suspected all along. Dougal

  10. Great to get a win, and 3 goals from 3 different scorers. Sounded like the subs were as much to do with replacing tired players/injury than anything else and hope Longstaff is ok. From comments following the last 2 matches it sounds as if we've upped our pace, hopefully player stamina will grow along with that. No sign of any loans coming in, so that leaves free agents if we're going to add anymore depth. Like Ferguson's honest, no BS interviews. Was laughing at the "what the feck type of question is that" look he was giving to some questions in his pre match, and the sympathetic smiles to the lad behind the camera who seemed to be just repeating stuff back to him in the post match. Nowt wrong with the latter, I imagine interviewing Ferguson can be quite intimidating and he'll be shitting bigger bricks after a loss! The only thing that would have made the day better is news that Gardiner had fallen down a large hole somewhere and could never get out.

  11. That’s great to read and see. We need his passion and it’s great he appreciates our fans. I don’t think we’ve seen that consistently since Butcher’s time (I accept Yogi did occasionally). A good start, now let’s kick on and put a run together.

  12. Three valuable points, a bit wobbly at the end, but it's the win that matters at the moment. That will do the confidence a power of good.

  14. Happy with the result today good to hang on after Arbroath getting two goals back

  15. I don't think Dodds is narcissistic (others at the club clearly are) I think he's just pretty clueless.

  16. Well being 2 0 up at half time has to be good news, In fact very good news proving that new manager syndrome does work! have to keep it going though as Campbell will be giving them a roasting just now!

  17. A big day ahead for big Dunc, the players, fans and club. Three points may be too much to hope for but I hope we get them. Whatever the outcome, I hope to read positive reports later from those able to be there. After a couple of decent recent performances, with no points, adding a new regime is what we need to turn things round, hopefully starting today. The season and our view of big Dunc is not solely dependent on today: this is just the start.

  21. Dunc deserves a new chant .. here's my tuppence .. to the tune of I'm a believer .. (youngsters use google) We all thought that Caley Jags were going down Seems the more we gave the less we got What's the use in turning out and feeling glum When we needed points we ended up with none But Now Fergies Blue & Black And we're all believers Doddsy got the sack No doubt in our minds We're going up ( ooooh) Now if Gardiner would just leave us That would be sublime TAXI ......

  22. Some people might consider Big Dunc a bit intimidating but he’s actually very touchy feely, likes to put an arm round etc.

  26. I’m beginning to begrudgingly give SG some respect. He has the ability to deflect, dodge and ignore criticism (Teflon like); bamboozle, hoodwink and convince RM and the board of his vision; cajole and keep in line a pliant press, whilst he has continued to oversee and be mainly responsible for the biggest decline and fall of ICT more than anyone. He was instrumental in offering BD the two year extension (oh by the way, can I ask the Trust to find out how much it cost to pay off BD?). Also used BD as the shield behind the terrible start of the season (‘nothing to do with me gov’)! Yet through all this he manages to pick up his wages and blindly shuffles on, Boris Johnson like, to trample and crap on us the little people. He’s got ‘balls’ beyond ordinary people and who knows, he may get lucky and we get some super new cheap manager that takes us the promised land!! My fear is he ain’t finished ‘his work stint’ at little old ICT. And we the fans remain unable or unwilling to muster any coherent case to question or challenge him and his record! A truly unique guy!!!! bc

  27. He's so out of touch that he doesn't even realise that his drivel only serves to confirm what many already know, and that is the fact that he thinks fans are stupid, and that he will direct all fault for fan discontent to on field performances to try and deflect from the larger, ever growing, discontent for how the club is failing off the pitch and at the highest level of management. Unfortunately, work will prevent me from attending the fans meeting, but if fans stream from there to the game afterwards, then he will only view that as vindication for his view that fans are fickle and they should/will just suck it up. Furthermore, I'm becoming increasingly disappointed in our local journalists who are doing nothing to challenge him or ask the questions that need asking. I'm sure they all read these forums and social media and know that fans are questioning Gardiner's position as much, if not more so than We did Dodds', yet not a single mention of that in these articles. It's weak and pathetic.

  28. Well, he sees fans forums as a waste of time (cancelled them), sees the ST as non representative (without any indication of what is representative in his view) and won't enter into any meaningful dialogue, sees fans complaining online as 'clickbait proponents', sees the matchday survey as 'too negative' (if rumours are to be believed and I quite believe them), sees a public fans meeting as just people venting their spleen and in general people unhappy are just the 'noisy minority'. Everything can just be dismissed away with the wave of a hand. So the silent majority are all tickety bo and there's no issues that need to be addressed, therefore, 'I'm doing a great job'

  29. https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/sport/we-have-to-suck-it-up-icts-gardiner-on-board-criticism-327058/?fbclid=IwAR1GyYz4yZAJ5_4PjJ-WXTX33ZD48VAQgs6GPjBZ8mS8F08C9341TYRXsFw Seems to me going by these comments that nothing around the culture at the club will change until SG goes. Dismissive of the fans and completely unable to take any criticism or responsibility. Puts it on the minority of 'noisy people' Totally dismissive of the Supporters Trust without naming them. "They're meeting in the Innes Bar, and hopefully everyone vents their spleen if they want to do that. Hopefully it's constructive, and then I would hope they're all coming to the game afterwards." So basically go have your little whine and a moan to yourselves, then shut up and get to the game and spend your money. When will folk realise that the club have absolutely zero interest in what the fans think or what their concerns are. Doesn’t matter if that's through the Trust or any other group or individual. He gets paid regardless. They are the 'noisy minority' and 'clickbait proponents' he keeps telling himself that and absolutely nothing about the willfully ignorant culture at the club will change until the CEO goes. It's just about the crap results on the park the CEO says and while they are obviously having a huge negative impact it's way more than that. It's the first time in my life as an ICT supporter where I've felt the club just don't give a toss.

  30. After reading Gardiners bilge in the courier, he has to go. What a complete narcissistic ****. Its no coincidence that everywhere he's been has been left in disarray.

  31. Wow - Gardiner's response to me is so impressive and in conjunction with a well rehearsed smile and a wholly plausible presentation - this guy will never concede any fault - He still has some mesmerised by his charm and false sincerity. He is strong and will be difficult to remove - we could well be fecked
