Haven't renewed yet. Still so many unaswered questions, that the club are obviously aware of, yet choose not to respond. I can't think of any situation like this in the past where a club has shown such contempt for its own fans? The only time it communicates with us is when it wants something from us i.e. our money, or lobbying of local councillors! Its treatment of its own players has been disgusting, and certainly won't have helped to attract players in coming to the club! TBH I feel there are more cons than pros in continuing to support the club. I've been made to feel this way all because of the club's actions/inactions!! The heart has been ripped out of ICT by those in control of it!8 points

Thought he deserved his own thread now that he has been issued his P45 as well. Another club legend treated very poorly - thank you for your service, Mr. Esson.7 points

I haven't bought our family x 4. The difference between the early bird and full price is not much so happy to risk losing seats and wait to see what is happening re investment etc. I don't think we will have to wait much longer re accounts etc as the deadline approaching. On a personal level I'm struggling being associated with this clearly morally bankrupt board and management team7 points
-
No, that doesn't make him to blame for it all ... it actually increases the culpability of those who gave him a job, free reign over all decisions and no oversight! He doesn't get a pass, far from it, but there are more than enough bad decisions and debacles for the blame to be spread around amongst all who are culpable.6 points
-
I think this is us all. I have not always agreed with individual decisions made by the club but could usually swallow it as I felt they were part of an overall positive mindset and attitude at the club which was to do what was best for ICT, its employees, the players, team and fans. Sadly, this is no longer the case. I hope I am proved wrong by SY or someone else, but it feels like a rudderless (and spineless) ship since May. SG gets the blame for all of this, and he does have to shoulder some of it (most of it) in his position as CEO, it goes with the territory. However, as much as he's painted to be the ultimate Bond villain, there is no way he can be solely culpable in all of this. His personality, general demeanour, and past history at Dundee and Hearts makes it easy to paint him as the sole problem, but every single person on that board has an opinion and a mouth to express it and they have said f*** all! Perhaps some stayed silent as they disagreed but that makes them just as culpable as whoever made certain decisions. Every single one of them is responsible, individually and/or collectively for the demise of ICT, the wholly unacceptable treatment of now former players, and the current situation we find ourselves in. I hope they all feel good when they look at themselves in the mirror each morning and tell themselves that its all SG's fault and their hands are clean. They are not, and fans will not forget.6 points

I’ve not renewed yet, but plan to as soon as there is confirmation of investment and the departure of SG. I hope we hear good news on both soon, and that whoever the investor is ensures that communication improves. In the meantime, I hope to make the Clach game tomorrow and will be at Nairn on Tuesday, giving the players my support. They are not at fault in any way so need to know we are behind them.6 points

The silence from Dunc is both shocking and embarrassing. I know that he may have to toe the "Gardiner" line but I can't believe that he in any way could accept the Doran situation. Dunc the fearless lion appears to have become the cowardly lion6 points

I was planning on buying my season ticket today, but for now my money is staying in my pocket. Feel a total disconnect from the club at present, it's really hard to support people who clearly don't care about the fans, employees or their community.5 points
-
Indeed. It is entirely possible to support the team but not the management. Not every Man U supporter is a fan of the Glazers4 points
-
I bought my season ticket after the first supporters trust statement encouraging it. I deeply regret doing it after what has happened since and the trust u turning. I was deeply conflicted as I could not see a time where I would not be supporting the team. But on the other hand I feel uneasy of supporting a club that has done the things to our players they have done.4 points

Now it is clear Ferguson & Bollan remain as management team, folks should not forget he had 30+ games to keep us up……. And didn’t!, Took in numerous loanees who were no better than what we had, got rid of, or sent on loan good players who would have fought hard for our Championship survival. Then just when you need a manger to be vocal and take control in relegation ( for which he must shoulder responsibility ) and potential administration, he goes silent, doesn’t even speak with players or football staff out of professional courtesy, to then sign his own son, is beyond belief !!!!!! People say we can’t afford to get rid of him………… can we afford to keep him!!!!! Get Him Gone!4 points

Sadly a lot of us feel this way. As a supporter since Caley Thistle was formed, this is the first time I've ever doubted my support for the team.3 points

A lot of anger towards Dunc but oddly Bollan seems to get off lightly with our fans. Don't forget he's had previous experience at the lower levels of Scottish football. So he's either just a yes man too afraid to question or too incompetent to support effectively. Either way he needs 'in the bin'2 points
-
He has shown himself to be neither a good football coach nor a manager. Even on reduced wages he is not worth it. Get him gone!2 points
-
I keep saying it but the way these guys have been treated by the club is a disgrace after so many years service A great goal keeper and coach especially with the youngsters.2 points

After the conflicting advice initially from the Trust, I have decided not to renew my season ticket just yet. I have decided that if the management who got us relegated, got rid of or put out on loan some good players, complained weekly about plastic pitches and wouldn’t give our youth a chance are still in charge, I fear for this season. This as well as not speaking with players & staff following relegation shows the poor type of people they are. I will pay as you go at a few away matches, most of which are on plastic pitches!!!!! Get this lot Gone!2 points

The same as others I am holding off but will be at the Clach game tomorrow to support our team.2 points

If I were still a ST holder I'd be adopting a similar position as yourself. Sadly, I doubt you will lose your seats given the empty spaces in the stands over the last season or so.2 points

We still need a back up goalie so Duke remains in the dugout! Seriously though, I hope Jack does very well for us, but where’s the logic in making two local ‘keepers leave and bringing in someone who we will need to pay accommodation costs for? A Dundee United fan I know said he was a capable back up for them, who got some first team experience in their relegation season, and he feels he can do a good job for us.2 points
-
I agree that if Dundee Utd are paying his wages it could be a bit of good business, but that in no way mitigates against the appalling way locally based keepers have been treated. Of course, none of the background here is Jack's fault and if he is to be our first choice keeper, then we must give him our full support. I rather fear he will be a busy lad and will need all the support he can get.2 points
-
Hope our accommodation costs for him aren't too high. Shame there were no local keepers available.2 points

Oh agree totally but at the end of the day Dunc is the manager so should carry the can1 point

I Don’t think it matters what players we bring in . Duncan Ferguson yet again after his Forest Green and ICT coaching stints has all by himself proven he lacks how to coach . You think after the Dodds scenario we would have learnt from it . Oh no our board along with the talented CEO ( yeah talented clown ) spend 300k a year on hiring Laurel and Stan Hardy . We now wait with anticipation to what the cluedo board come up with next .1 point

Excellent fixtures for me, far better than last season. Just checked and only 2 home game clashes with county before the premier split. ( Inverness grandkids , Dingwall grandkids. Sorry Dingwall grandkids get your mother to take you these 2 Saturdays ) only 1 away game clash, so a chance to get on the supporters bus for an away day, BUT, it’s Kelty, couple of miles from the in laws in Dunfermline. So weekend away instead.1 point

I'm heading through to the Merkinch, to see what the new dawn looks like on Day 1 for both ourselves and the lilywhites. and also the midweek match v the wee County as it's a home match for the Sneck Diaspora along the A96 I notice the kick off time has been put back to 2pm1 point
-
Also I think I'm at the stage where I may not purchase regardless. The only thing I've been getting from the club the last few seasons is angry and frustrated. It's going to take more than the CEO disappearing to change that as the culture is rotten at the core.1 point
-
The thing is, and as you pointed out ... HE HAS HISTORY! Everywhere he has been has not ended well. He is to blame - end of.1 point

I'm still wary and feel it is perhaps worth sacrificing the early bird discount and waiting a bit longer, but I'm looking forward to the friendly at Clach tomorrow. Are others going along?1 point
-
Has anybody bought a season ticket yet and does anybody have intentions of buying one before the 'loyalty/early bird' period finishes on Tuesday? I ask because totally conflicted myself and find it hard to imagine the team running out to next to no supporters next season... However I am shocked at the way things are being run and handled right now and would find it hard to part with the best part of £300 given the current situation.1 point

I've input them up to end of December on our current season fixture lists at the moment. Will add the rest soon (and sort any errors as I come across them.)1 point

Some League 1 games get moved to Saturday teatime for BBC Alba. There are the same number of games as in the Championship, but probably fewer weekends kept clear for cup competitions.1 point

Presumably it's deliberate, to cut down midweek long distance travel, especially for the part-time teams?1 point

bucking the trend here, have a list of names waiting to see who will be first to let rip. When I go to the games I want to see the best players we are capable of getting. The way some players have been treated by the club aside ( disgracefully), if the new keeper turns out to be better than the 2 local guys we let go, then happy days. Some players can’t leave us quick enough for a “bigger” team, others are “ let go”. Thats football maybe new keeper won’t need accommodation up here. They usually train on their own anyway. Would get better coaching at UTD I would think. Get to know our new defence pre season. dragged this up from the courier Inverness Caledonian Thistle goalkeeper Mark Ridgers has apologised to the club’s fans for their relegation this season. Various managers down the years have called him the best goalkeeper in the Championship, but he was at fault for multiple Hamilton goals over the two legs of the play-off final……… Time to move on, new league, new era. ps …. mark always had time to speak to my 8 year old grandson while walking his dog. Made me have to watch what I said at games as grandson would tell him what I was saying when we lost a goal on a Saturday.1 point

He must have an aunt or something living locally as ICT can’t afford accommodation costs for incoming players. As Fraz said, pity there weren’t any local keepers available. Shambolic1 point

Well said, Big Cherly. I have no respect for Ferguson. During this very difficult time for the club he had a particular duty of care to keep his squad of players as informed as he could. To hear so many players say they have heard nothing from anybody at the club is truly shameful and it is Ferguson, as team manager, who had the prime responsibility for this. It is unforgivable. Unfortunately we are stuck with him for the time being. I hope that when his contract is up it is not renewed, regardless of how successful he may be in turning things around. And I hope that he is successful, both for the the players' sakes and for the club's. It is very much in Ferguson's own interest to reflect on his behaviour and change his ways. If he can do that and show a bit more success on the pitch, he may still have a future in football management. Just, not here.1 point

We are still a long way from safety and stability for our club, and I am still nervous about investing in season tickets as there still seems to be so many secrets and withheld information, but I am so pleased that we are moving forward at last. This is going to be so different to what we are used to, but everything was so depressing and hopeless by the end of the season that a fresh start is needed. We didn't get everything on the wish list - DF is still here at present and SG-who knows?, but we aren't going to the central belt and I hope that the young lads signed up today will give their best for the club and be mentored well by the players who remain. Now we just need that goal keeper - I know of one or two that live very nearby. C,mon ICT.1 point

Fair enough then, let’s at least have some positivity… Welcome to the Club Cameron Ferguson. I hope he proves all the doubters wrong.1 point

Most of our fans sit in silence the entire match anyway at home so I don’t think they’d notice any difference. With the exception of utter outrage if the referee makes a perceived mistake or A slight cheer followed by 6 seconds of clapping if we score a goal.1 point

Yes, I know, but I don't remember it being regular like the Friday nights in the Champ, and also it seemed to feature Falkirk a lot as they were box office... Anyhoo, I had a fair bit of illness this past year, and I've got a few holidays backed up this autumn as a result. So, unless all this boycott/ST business gets sorted out, and I start popping up for the odd home game, I don't seem to have a free Saturday, apart from the LC section, and maybe a couple of Scottish Cup ties, until Dumbarton away on 26 October...0 points
