I have just watched the game on Alba. I have not seen or watched a game fer weeks and I was expecting to come on here in a mega-critical manner. To me - that was encouraging  - I thought that we edged

Apparently deserved a draw, but can't keep gifting goals! MUST beat St J for a strong finish. Distressing.

Hughes OUT Asap!!!!!

This ***** just doesn't have a clue!!!!

Thank God for Celtic getting a point which means a draw v St J is good enough for 5th but looking at where we were when this joker came in, 5th isn't good enough.

Mr Cameron MUST ACT before this ass ruins our club!!

Im buying The Winchester, looking to hire a hot bar maid and bounder...applicants welcome

On bus home. If you're watching on Alba wait to see the second half! Such fight which should have been rewarded. Gutted fir the guys

Can I be the bounder?

Nah poor defending. Started from a poor clearance by Tremarco, Draper ends up dallying on it in the box thinking Brill will come for it, he gets robbed and then catches Sutton and goes over, quite spectacularly it must be said, but it's definitely a spot kick. Sadly an error of our own making.

Playing Motherwell away is never going to be easy,  We never win there and our record against them as a whole is terrible.  I've gave up expecting anything from this season and will fully judge Hughes next season.  A typical 0-0 draw with St Johnstone would be great.

Hughes neither scored an own goal, nor gave away a penalty and by all accounts our second half display was tremendous. Your dispaly on the other hand (and this is NOT personal abuse) is becoming increasingly tiresome. Please give at least some rationale behind what you contend rather than simply rant.

Ffs, the man is a born failure, tell me one job where he has succeeded because I can't think of a single one!!!?

Plus he is a liar!

Really don't know what to make of that. After sitting through the Celtic game, which was a performance of quite unparalleled toothlessness, and the United game, where a promising first 20 minutes degenerated into aimless possession in our own half that invited pressure onto us, the first half tonight made it look like we were doomed to play like that forever. God knows who said what at half time, but the second half was a transformation. Consistent pressure in the Motherwell half, much more direct play (which is not necessarily a euphemism for long ball) and far more pace and effective off-the-ball movement about the side. Graeme Shinnie was at the heart of everything, and it looked like it just needed one player who was willing to take it on and the rest would follow. We were extremely unlucky not to take something out of the game.

There's been a couple of false dawns in the past few months, but that second half was the most sustained period of dangerous attacking football we have played since Hughes took over, and if he can somehow keep the team playing like that from now on, and cut out the long periods of aimless possession in our own half that inevitably end up with the ball either going back to, or past, Brill, then I'll feel much more confident about next season. One thing tonight certainly suggested is that Shinnie must play in midfield from now on. Tremarco and Raven are very effective full backs, and we benefit far more from Shinnie's engine and drive in midfield.

My last game of the season tonight, but hopefully the team can take it on from that second half and consolidate 5th place on Saturday; while Terry and Mo slither into the play-offs.

...............Hughes is feckin clueless

How many times have we said that in this last half of the season?

Hughes OUT Asap!!!!!

No, you don't.

For those who can face it, don't forget the game's on Alba in a few minutes.

Just seen the 2nd half on Alba the now (can't believe I went and missed MOTD for it, ugh!) and if people are worried about tippy tappy football then thankfully Hughes seemed to abandon it. Don't think I saw more than 2 passes in succession. The standard was deplorable. Chronic to watch. Utter dire nonsense.

I know football in Scotland has been getting steadily worse but that ranked on amateur. So many aimless stray balls.

I see some comments above about sustained pressure but if that's the best we've offered for a while then I'm really worried at it was terrible fare. The recent County game was ok. But that. I'm just glad there's only 1 game left and I can focus that weekend on the last weekend of the Premiership even though tonight has effectively finished it off barring a West Ham surprise.

So glad it's a word cup year. Can erase that from my mind watching Brazil and Germany (Not Spain, it'll bring back bad flash backs).
