5th round draw

The draw is tomorrow afternoon. For selfish reasons would like an away tie, even though we've just won at home at long last. Queen's Park would have been ideal for me if Peterhead hadn't equalised. East Fife would be very nice though -don't think I've been to Methil before.

Home to Ayr or Killie - not a bad draw for really making progress

Celtic v Peterhead/Queens Park - great draw for Peterhead

Could have been worse I suppose.

Not toooo bad then.

Alex - the positive thinking classes seem to be working :rotflmao:

we were the last ones out and i thought we were going to get celtic but at the end i never noticed rangers match and thought they were still in it! and i was like nooo we have rangers but we didnt. i hope ayr can do it so then we can beat them!!!

Could have been worse I suppose.

Always positive me.

There's no "easy" games in the cup, and given our recent performance I might have been happier to get a "pay day", but even they are few and far between (and a lot less lucrative) these days even against the OF.

Wouldn't mind it being Ayr as it's a break from the boredom of playing the same teams the whole time, but Killie games are historically decent affairs.

Bring it on!!!!

Could have been worse I suppose.

Excellent - I'll buy you a pint at Hampden in May then.... :thumb04:

A bit of revenge would go down well if Killie get through. Great goal by Robson in the previous game against them with Gus MacPherson inspirational 60 seconds later proving a game is not won until it is lost.

Killie may want revenge for the 3-0 defeat they suffered at Thistle!

Killie do have a good record at the Caledonian Stadium so Killie will want revenge for their league defeats this year. Hopefully a great cup tie and hopefully the weather will be better. Imrie is not cup tied so may well play against us if he is punted.

Extra incentive for Bryan Prunty to seek revenge!

Could have been worse I suppose.

I'll be there!! :018:  :thumb04:

sounds a good draw, i would have taken anyone at home. the way the cup has gone in the last few years, it wouldn't surprise me if we made it to the final a la Dunfermline. hopefully we'll survive as well though.

Forfar or Forres Mechanics v St Johnstone or Rangers

Airdrie v Dunfermline

Hearts v Falkirk

Inverurie Locos or Motherwell v Brechin or St Mirren

Aberdeen v East Fife

Celtic v Peterhead or Queen's Park

Hamilton v East Stirling or Dundee United

Inverness v Ayr or Kilmarnock

C'mon Ayr, some of the games against them over the years have been awesome. The 4 - 3 win ranks almost as highly as the celtic cup win in my league of epic ICT games.

we beat them 7-3 in the same season i think. That was a pretty awesome game.

Our games against killie though are usually high scoring too and they are the only team we can beat at home so i'm not too bothered.

I thought we would get the old firm or aberdeen away but killie/ayr utd ain't too bad.

COME ON AYR UTD!!!

We should have a fair chance of progressing.

it could have been worse: Celtic, Dundee UTD, Hearts or Rangers if they beat st johnstone.

C'mon ayr

The Killie v Ayr replay is currently 1-1

I see that Prunty scored Ayr's goal in the tenth minute, a la Maradonna, but Killie have since equalised with a Simon Ford header.

Killie now winning 3-1

killie it is then.we can take em :rotflmao:
