It's a fecking joke! It's either a direct train at half nine or a two hour journey via Stirling, all after a night out on the Saturday.

I am going, plus two. Altogether now:

Aye a two hour train journey for 44 miles. Personally couldn't believe how crap the service to Perth from Edinburgh is on a Sunday.

I'm flying up to Edinburgh on Sunday morning, arriving 10ish. I'm hiring a car to get to Perth. As the trains are so bad, if anyone wants a lift from the Edinburgh area to/fro Perth, then just let me know. Contact me by PM.

There's one of those family pubs there, used to be called Brewsters in fact. The staff were badly organised and completely demotivated. And you had to take your shoes off. Thankfully a change of management soon followed.

Anyone looking to stop in Perth Sunday? I have made a bit of a mistake when booking my rooms :embarrassed: . It appears I have booked 3 rooms at Travelodge in Perth. So a spare family room at cost, ?19, is going. PM if interested
