Ian Black

What sort of welcome will he receive on Saturday?

should receive a good one imo after saying he's grateful to the club and backing us for promotion last season

heroes welcome. fought right till the end to try and keep us up and then came to support us during last season (saw him at cup game v partick and sure i saw him at cup final).

A round of applause, then the ref blows the whistle to start the game... then he is the enemy - he will be trying to beat us dont forget!

Nothing, he was here, he did well, now he has gone. No booing from me, nor any applause, it's the players at ICT at this present moment that I am interested in.

No boos from me!

I have never hated the boy.

As long as he doesn't score againts us!

if he does score as long as he doesnt do an imrie and goad the fans. if he scores and trundles back to the half way line that would be good. sign of respect.

Much better if he doesn't score!

I think ian black would go back to the half way line.

He respects the fans more.

Well if I was in attendance I would be starting off a song of "Black,Black,Ian,Ian Black" from the North Stand" - acknowledging the response with raised hand applause and recognition - and then start off a chant of "Ian Black, yer such a feckin p****,Ian Black yer a horse's erse".

I am shure that Blackie would appreciate the humour - even if the Stewrads didnt and I ended up in the Innes at ten past feckin three again.

In all sewriousness Ian Black was a mini Tokely during his spell at the club and IMHO he died for the shirt - that gets him mega respect points from IHE.

What's the odds that within five minutes, Black makes an immediate impact...on Cox's leg!

Ian Black was a well established player at ICT, and a good one at that. I would be applausing him before the game and no booing during the game. Theres a select few that i count as ICT "legends" but i reckon hes got to be in there.

I hope he gets a warm welcome, I didnt have much time for him, he did however as said, played for the shirt.

I will give him a clap when he comes on and join in with any positive chants towards him if there is any.

I hope also that we do not have the same "toxic" chants towards him as Doogie had.

I'll give him a warm welcome too, but then I hope he misses a penalty and then gets himself sent off - ideally before half-time.

will be looking forward to seeing if he squares up to anyone

will never forget the game against hibs when he squared up to Rob Jones.....

one of the funniest things i have seen in a long time :nanananana:

up there with the time JJ took a lump out of our dugout

In that pic of Blackie, is it just a trick of the light or is he living up to his "hard man" image, if you see what I mean?

:yellowcard:

thtas awsome...although i am a little concerned as to why you were looking at "that"

be good if coxy gave him one of his crunching challenges like he did the start of last season. i remember against montrose he crunched a player and never held back in a tackle

Fantastic servant to the club. A player who built his first team career at us and has left a void that imo is yet to be fully filled.

I think he will get a warm welcome from supporters, he certainly won't get heckled from me.

Massive respect due to Blackie. Anyone who boos the lad is a muppet. Hope he sees the error of his ways one day and comes "home".

One of the best ICT players of all time, due absolute respect, wouldnt be surprised to see him back with us at some stage in his career.
