Still not being able to play games in the first division when the international break was on because Xausa and Hastings were Canadian

When the club shop wasn't in a portacabin it wasn't a club shop. Yes goods could be purchased from reception but there wasn't a shop.

 

Some of us even remember Citylink.

Pele nodding off on the bench. Standing in the corner where the seats are in the west stand with an umbrella, bankies fans going topless in the driving wind and rain.

Yes there was, the club shop was in the room to the right of the reception.

Remember it well. It was run by Ian Broadfoot and Peter McCallum on game days and you could buy merchandise, programmes etc, get team lines, pick up tickets, and have any trivia question you could think of answered by Ian ! Think it also doubled as Charlie's office during the week !

Meeting everyone in the Caley Inn before games and landlord Don slagging us off about how big a team Dundee were !

The Innes Bar before away trips .....

Queues at the pie/bovril area (oh wait ...)

Pele downing several pints of Guinness in a few seconds each in the boardroom

The Coia Bus - Bingham Legend and the drums - Congas - Harry's Bar and that great terrace at Ayr - the Alamo - Gretna Away - the chosen few in midweek at Dumfries and Berwiick - February 8th,s picture posts and prevention of the streak - Squirrel baiting - etc.

Having to explain to people who Caledonian Thistle were and where we were from (no Inverness in the name back then).

First season when every game was a "big" game.

Thinking that losing under 3 goals against an SPL team in cups was a fantastic result.

Not being made to feel like a criminal when calling C*unty fans Gypsies.

Once when in Div 2 Naelifts stood his hand at Ayr...........memories!

Sharing a stand and singing with the partick v clyde (because they thought we wouldn't get promoted).

You know you're an ICT supporter when.........you get a nice smug feeling when you meet a Celtic fan and they ask what team you support.

Not moaning about the A9 having an effect on our results every second week!!!

The joy of walking through Norwich city centre wearing my red n blue striped shirt whenever they were at home to Crystal Palace 

...oh aye, and the strange looks we got on the Ryanair flight back from Prestwick after the 3-3 with Ayr from the Huns on the same flight - enjoyed the explanation "Aye guys, right colours, wrong team, we are the mighty ICT!" 

Sitting in the stand at Telford Street and cheering for the home team....only my new team could have got me to do that ;-)

The convoys of buses heading down the A9 to take on big teams in the cup games.

When you are eagerly awaiting the restart of the season with a great feeling of anticipation.    

The atmosphere at Tannadice for our first really big 'home' cup game and the ovation given to the players at the end despite the result. Putting 5 past Arbroath in our very first league game even being at Telford Street cheering on a team in blue seemed counter intuitive.
