  • Benefits of a postponement:   1. Tie will take place when Ofere and Kink are fitter and know the team better 2. Warren won't be suspended 3. Brill might be back. 4. Pitch should be in better nick

  • Amazing that football clubs are expected to achieve what mankind hasn't managed to do for thousands of years....predict and successfully beat the weather!!   Covers were down and all possible precau

  • Refresh. Refresh. C'mon! Cheers caleydawson for the updates.

If this shitey rain keeps up, game will be off...

Pitch inspection at 9am

Only saving grace is that the forecast seems to indicate the bad weather will ease off later..  hoping

Raith Rovers saying that the match will highly doubtful take place.

Going by the MET office rainfall radar the rain is meant to continue most of day around Inverness. Not the best for a football game when the pitch is already soaked!!

kind of hoping it's off - cr@p pitch and a gale will make for a terrible game.

Benefits of a postponement:

1. Tie will take place when Ofere and Kink are fitter and know the team better

2. Warren won't be suspended

3. Brill might be back.

4. Pitch should be in better nick, to suit our passing game

5. We will definitely be in the draw for the sem-finals!

With having no game next weekend and this rescheduled fixture likely to take place midweek before the next game, Warren will still likely miss out.

Refresh. Refresh.

C'mon!

Cheers caleydawson for the updates.

From ICTFC Twitter.... Match Postponed due to waterlogged pitch. Rescheduled for Tue 10th March at 7:45pm

Bother!  I cannot go on Tuesday night.    Botheration and other stronger words!

Why didn't someone start a thread yesterday about the possibility of a deluge threatening this game!

It would likely have just got 'poo-pooed'!

FFS what happened to the expensive covers we purchased. Lose money playing on a TUesday night

Excellent news. That means the rest of today will be very sunny and dry.

Seriously it does make sense. Hope not too many Raith or ICT supporters in transit.

We will now get to see who either Raith or ourselves will get in the Semi. Raith have a long trip to Queen of the South next weekend so with our game against Dundee United off then, it might be more likely on Tuesday rather than Saturday.TV money maybe?

Bah humbug !.....I was looking forward to this one of the few I can get to........... Never mind conditions, hopefully, better by the tenth and we can put on the style..................Thanks for the updates.

Annoying as it is for us I'm sure it can't be helped. A shame for the raith fans en-route. I was in the same position myself for the united game so it's more annoying for them, especially when you think a lot of them won't make it up on Tuesday. They'll just have to have a few beers in town today.
