Celtic away.

away (AGAIN!) about as bad a draw as possible, but we've shocked them before!

It's a shame it wasn't Morton that got Celtic away as it was initially (almost) announced

According to Sky, Queens Park RANGERS were in the draw for the Scottish Cup. Embarrassing!

Great - means we can fully concentrate on league survival now !

What are the stats on us being drawn away in recent years?

From memory, we've only had one home draw in either cup over the past 4 years, but I might be wrong. The stats for the Govan Liquidated are almost the complete reverse.

Yawn. Our 9th cup tie against Celtic since 2000 (including the 3-1 game), in the two competitions. Give us a break.

I actually think it's a good draw. A guaranteed six figure pay day with the distinct possibility of a further cash windfall for live TV could well mean that we are able to strengthen further for the remainder of the league campaign. Also, we have a very decent record against them in this tournament especially in Glasgow.

Actually, not quite as bad as I thought. We have had 2 home draws over last 2.5 seasons in Scottish Cup. So, 2 home v 6 away.

Guaranteed tv game so extra cash plus it's a 50-50 gate split so let's hope that the fans come out for it. Sadly on current form and displays it's probably going to be very one sided but hopefully we still have enough guys in our team who remember what it's like to beat celtic and up their game with the lure of progressing in the cup.

looks like it rod had a lot of alcohol inside him when he was doing the draw

To think this is the man who made Every Picture Tells A Story. Cringe.

Agreed and the fact that the rules on the tournament permit the use of two goalkeepers and to allow the fans to assist by pulling down their players in the box when playing in Glasgow against Celtic is an added bonus.

From Hellgin away to Hellagain away - or half of a 3,600 gate to half of perhaps a 40,000 gate plus TV receipts. Celtic will expect put 10 past us.

Interesting bit of psychology by Brendan Rogers ''I am not thinking about the Treble.....''

50-50....after costs have been deducted.
