Proposed Supporters Bus Regulations

Featured Replies

Seriously OTT and impractical IMHO.

The current rules seem to work so if it’s not broken…..

If there is a problem with the fans of some clubs, deal with them. Don’t negatively disproportionally impact the fans who abide by the current rules.

Funny how it’s always football never the rugby . The same fans can turn up at the rugby and even have a beer but as it’s football it’s a oh no .yet we Scot’s are supposed to be the best fans in the world . Whatever next

I think it’s a UK proposal so we are getting tarnished by issues south of the border (although I’m sure some fans of the Glasgow ugly sisters haven’t helped the situation).

The Scottish authorities have spoken out against it:

Nobody wants this and it won’t happen. But it’s just bizarre. A proposed consultation from a transport organisation nobody has ever heard of, about introducing a voluntary code of practice that involves a club’s nominated person agreeing in advance that the supporters bus can stop at a specified pub? Who on earth thought this is a good idea?

Anyone who has driven a lorry or a bus or involved in any transport knows about them!
It’s the usual using a sledgehammer to crack a nut 🤣

One example is when The Rangers supporters stop at the Chieftain on the way to Dingwall, the Chieftain serves substantial meals but who is going to check if the fans eat one or just have six pints 🍻

You actually believe what SNP SAY????  F**k

The fiasco shows how out of touch some people sitting behind desks in ivory towers can be.

At least the Senior Traffic Commissioner had the balls to eat humble pie quickly.

There are many others out there who should do the same!
