December 5, 200718 yr No its not Malky or Brew or even Donald. After last night I feared the might Celtic returning to the San Zero Stadium a week Sunday but then after Boric's knee op it occurred to me Marky will be in goal. Welcome back Mark!!
December 5, 200718 yr i for one will stand and aplaud him as he walks up the north stand end :clapping03: :clapping03: :021:
December 5, 200718 yr Boo our own Keeper for a few bad kicks and stand and applaud the opposition keeper....I think the world's going mad :crazy07:
December 5, 200718 yr Brown will certainly get a great reception. He is a superb keeper. Many people thought he took a step backwards with not getting a regular game, but when he has played he's dealt with everything that came at him.
December 5, 200718 yr He's only played 4 games for 'tic in nearly a year. It may have improved his bank balance but has moved him from a international hopeful to a bench warmer.

Agreed, you don't see intervews with Smith in the Record saying how close Brown is to the squad anymore (granted Smith is isn't in charge anymore :029:)
December 6, 200718 yr Got to fancy our chances now with Tic fielding a rookie 'keeper... :015: Hope we get a pen'. :023:

Agreed, you don't see intervews with Smith in the Record saying how close Brown is to the squad anymore (granted Smith is isn't in charge anymore :029:) point being though ... he is only one injury or bad performance by the normal keeper away from getting a starting spot ... if he starts a few games, and plays like he can, he will get called up ... and all the while he is hopefully building himself a nice wee nest egg as well. Good luck to him, he served us well, I just hope he has a bad game on the 16th if he plays.
December 6, 200718 yr He's only played 4 games for 'tic in nearly a year. It may have improved his bank balance but has moved him from a international hopeful to a bench warmer. And that itself is a perfectly valid reason for moving on. What are the bets we'll get a penalty and he saves it? :015:
December 6, 200718 yr Boruc is going to be out for quite a while now so Mark has an excellent opportunity to show what he can do.
December 6, 200718 yr I hope he doesnt get grief from our fans as he was a great keeper for us. However, his kicking, catching of high balls and penalty saving did sometimes let him down. At least out team no his weakness!
December 6, 200718 yr I'd like to see Mark get an extended run in the Celtic team but only after having a right stinker on his return to the TCS.
December 6, 200718 yr Mark Brown curtianly did a great job in goal for us in his time at ICT and he will certianly be getting my applause when he makes his way up to the bridge end. Hopefully we do get a penalty cos the only way we will miss is if the kick is off target.
December 6, 200718 yr MB was good for ICT but I bet the people who cheer him when he comes will be the same people who booed Dods.

December 6, 200718 yr I certainly won't be clapping and cheering Broon, but I doubt I will be booing him either. Maybe a few choice rants at him though. :023:
December 6, 200718 yr Lets heckle him into a mistake. You going out to play friday night mannie? :drinking09:
December 7, 200718 yr MB was good for ICT but I bet the people who cheer him when he comes will be the same people who booed Dods. Nobody booed Dods? Oh yes they were.

December 8, 200718 yr I'll not be applauding ANY Celtic players. I'll keep my applause for our own team.
December 8, 200718 yr I'll be booing the useless knut.... :020: ICT weren't good enough for him.... :018:
December 8, 200718 yr Why the feck should we be cheering the Celtic reserve keeper? He got his round of applause for past services on January 28 2007 on his previous 'last' visit. Another undeserved & VERY luck last minute victory against us :018:
