Those clearly guilty of violent conduct as evidenced by TV footage have got off scot-free whilst the two who receive bans are one player who reacted to an unprovoked off the ball assault and one who was protecting his face from being hit by the ball. It is not only these absurd outcomes that bring the SFA into disrepute, it is their secretive processes. We are not allowed to know who is on these disciplinary panels nor are we allowed to know the reasoning behind the decisions. This is despite the fact that their website states "as part of our new strategic plan, the disciplinary procedures were radically overhauled to provide greater efficiency, accountability and transparency. " One wonders how the SFA could possibly be less accountable and less transparent than it currently is! The website also states that the SFA's disciplinary procedures are "essential in protecting the integrity and reputation of the game at all levels. whilst also providing guidelines of acceptable behaviour for clubs." We must, therefore conclude that the SFA consider it acceptable for players to push other players in the back into the path of their team mates, off the ball to elbow players in the back of the neck with sufficient force to knock them to the ground, and to kick opposing players in the head. By their secrecy and their absurd decisions, it is the SFA who do more than anyone (even Nadir Ciftci) to sully the integrity and reputation of the game in Scotland.

Tbh I rally don't care how many we take to semi. We will be slated for however many we take whether it's the usual 3000 at most games or 10000 it would be a case of glory hunters or Inverness doesn't deserve such a poor support As long as we all get behind The team and give them all we've got then the numbers are irrelevant. Wr will be harangued whatever we do by the press other fans etc. Let's just all do our best and support our team

I think we will take a decent crowd I think County had about 5-5500 in their Semi final against Celtic in 2010 so I would be happy with that but if we could aim for the smae numbers we took in our last semi final in 04 and last seasons LC final then I would be delighted. If we get to the final I think we could defo take over 10,000 and as people have said County got a brilliant final crowd which had some of us and other neutrals swelling the crowd. Yes we would all like to fill out the Longman every week and comfortably taking 20,000 and above to these occasions but we don't so whatever the number is I am sure they will be loud in their backing to give this team the support it deserves to become sucessful

  7. I have to agree with those saying that a smaller crowd is actually more preferable for general atmosphere and things of that nature. I didn't notice it quite so much at the League Cup Final, because it wasn't *that* big a crowd as finals go, but I do recollect a Ross County fan talking about their experience of their crowd the time they got to the Scottish Cup Final. Seemingly the whole experience was very disappointing. The crowd was full of Big Time Billys constantly asking things like "Who's that number 5?" etc. and who promptly left en masse as soon as Dundee United took the lead. To be quite honest, should we get to the final, I'd like some way of keeping the seasonal ticket holders/regular fans together and give them priority to the ticketing, so that they at least can bellow out as one, as opposed to being broken up across the stand. We - the people reading this and those who have season tickets and/or attend games regularly should be given priority. Not the big game dandies.

I started reading this and thought you were talking about Scott Brown, then I got to the come on Celtic bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been away for a few days, no tv no radio reception and no mobile, My biggest surprise in all this was Scott Brown didnt get offered a two match ban aswell. Reminds me of someone like Jose Mourinho with him telling the radio that his tackle was brilliant which started it all off. He went over the ball and sat on it with his behind and took Ciftci out, who then did react because Brown had badly fouled him. Two red cards in my opinion, but Scottie is the darling of the media, captain of the national team, Is he above the law

  11. 'Neutrals' I, for one, would rather do without... Neutrals can be converted into staunch supporters..... I would welcome them ! and I'm sure many others would too.
  12. I'm with Fraz here, in a way doesn't matter what size of a crowd we take, we are at the national stadium on merit and that will attract considerably more than our core support through interest created by the venue. I'm happy if "neutrals" want to swell our numbers - it's just more income for the club. I don't share your unspoken viewpoint that these will be rangers fans, I think our brand of football will attract more than that to watch us. BTW, we didn't "struggle" to take 7K people to the LC final, that's just the number we got in what was a lesser competition than the SC. Maximising our semi final crowd might be best achieved by remembering how long it is since we have been to hampden and remembering that Celtic are chasing a treble. If we get them in the semi (and I hope we don't) that might be some people's only chance to see ICTFC at hampden. They need to be there.
  13. The Pimple's Kirkcaldy spy reports that the population of that esteemed town is now demanding that their team be renamed : WRAITH ROVERS Citing as evidence that their team were never to be seen except on the odd occasion.
  14. Well done to Raith Rovers and that's without all the money the BBC get in licence fees!

I don't think you have a hope in h..l of that outcome. Maybe I am cynical but I think a certain Club Chairman's megabucks may be involved somewhere, but, don't quote me and I name no names. Umpteen appeals upheld ? How many of ours have ever been upheld - even when genuine evidence - once again money talks. Ciftci is a cheat, a thug and a disgrace to Scottish football and the sooner he goes back to Turkey, the better.
  16. Many thanks RR TV - I missed most of match due to prior engagement - but these 11 minutes are very worthwhile watching and better than any BBC TV have done. Again, well done RR TV.
  17. Got the job done! Listening on the radio it sounded like we were well on top....be interested in how our new striker Ofere is viewed by you guys Before the match I decided to take a punt on booking a hotel for Glasgow.....not for the semi though! Normally I would view that as tempting fate, but hope springs eternal this year for me
