  1. If you mean the ICT board, it's not likely. I wouldn't expect them to either. As good as it obviously is to get a big away support for the team you'd be essentially subsidising people to go and spend money elsewhere. I'd rather they put time and money into getting more people to Caley stadium.
  2. Last season we started off charging everyone £20. As we attracted sponsorship and undertook fundraising activities we were able to reduce fares for under 18s. This season we had hoped to have reductions in place for various groups and did this for a trial period. However, circumstances have changed and we have amended the pricing structure to ensure that we are able to continue to run a bus to all away games. The vast majority of our buses run at a loss and it is only through sponsorship and fundraising that we are able to provide the service. It is early in the season and should we be successful in attracting sponsorship etc we shall review pricing structure again. So if anyone reading this would like to sponsor us get in touch.
  3. There's a thought - play the Youths in the Youth cup...!
  4. Dan Hoban,Alistair Stark, Ryan Macritchie, Logan Johnstone, Cameron Harper (17s), Jack Brown (17s), Kieran Chalmers, Daniel Mackay (17s), Mitch Foy, Aidan Wilson, Keir Smith. Subs: Roddy Macgregor, Ryan Fyffe and Gabe Hastings all 17s. Goals im told were: Foy x2, Chalmers, Wilson, Smith and either Johnstone or macritchie for other. All subs used.
  5. The hilarious part was everyone thinking he was serious.
  6. From my perspective - We have a team that is new and gelling. It makes total sense to try and put out the perceived, favoured 11 - Training is training and is not match fit preparation - 8 goals in the last 2 games - much needed wins and confidence building - keeps us in a cup which is probably by far our best chance of progressing far in - or potential for a juicy draw in the next round - return of Tremarco - players get injured in any game or training so that is simply unfortunate - Robbo continues to be honest and forthright. And last but not least this was the first weekend in a long time - Scotland and ICT - that I have actually felt good.
  7. It would appear the change is for 13 to 17 year olds from £10 to £20. In the earlier thread though it clearly mentions that the lower price is a trial. It's always very difficult to price the bus as it's a set cost which doesnt get any cheaper by the number of kids, pensioners etc on it.
  8. Due to unexpected costs with effect from 9th September bus fare for everyone will be £20. There will be concessions for ages 12 and under, 65 and over and disabled fans.
  9. Thanks for that DD you are the "font of all knowledge" DD I will get a better sleep tonight now
  10. Have to agree here the competition has been devalued since we last won it , playing in front of 175 punters in Brechin against a team of youngsters does not inspire any one. Wouldn't be surprised if we lost money yesterday travel costs etc. Surely there must be more productive ways of utilising an International break than travelling to Brechin (again) to play against a youth team.
  11. Isn't he a Canadian? If so then his timepiece is 8 hours behind yours and that can explain it I'm sure. If not, then ask IHE--he operates on MOOSE time....
  12. Well done to the club for posting this on the forum & glad to see an 'official' club presence on here - good way to keep in touch with the fans & keep us informed...
  13. After seeing the ICT youth team play Banks 'O Dee today, I can see why Danny MacDonald was waxing lyrical about the youths we have at the club - impressive & well organised performance today - hopefully the 1st team will be benefiting fairly soon!
  14. Maybe the new board members will help out with the supportes buses.
  15. Do you mean where he arced his run back away from both the ball and Aberdeen player, or when he fell on his backside and tried (and failed) to rugby tackle the player with the ball? We should probably melt him down for glue, but I doubt that would stick to anything either!
  16. Yeah it definitely isn't an easy situation but it does seem a little unfair that there is a 50% increase in price to one age group which doesn't generate a lot if any income at all whilst the adult price is frozen. Did the 13-17s group pay £20 last season? If so just ignore me.
  17. So am I right in saying that the only change to pricing here is that parents are going to have to pay a 50% fare increase for their kids aged 13-17 to get the bus and cover this unexpected cost? Or did the pricing from the beginning of the season stated in another thread not stick?
  18. Hope so...might give Robbo food for thought..
  19. I'd rather Trafford learned his lessons early in the season as opposed to to the title challenge run-in
  20. Absolutely nothing wrong with the decision to field a strong team or this new player, so that this new team can improve and develop better understanding with each other ahead of some crunch games. The problem was Trafford's needless, aggressive reaction to a challenge on a teammate, when we were 4-1 up in the closing stages of a minor game against a bunch of teenagers. What was he doing? His previous yellow was also unnecessary under the circumstances of what was being played as a bounce game. I presume he'll be getting a bollocking from the manager, he deserves it. He was playing well until then and will be an important player, when he's available.
  21. Ps an appropriate punishment for any over exuberant fans would be to sing a bridge and a castle three times like a hail mary after confession and get videod doing it for the club tvs and their facebook page. That would stop any pretence of ultraviolence and aggression as there is no way you can do anything but smile and laugh when you hear the most twee football song in the world. Every visitor i have ever taken has always smiled and compared it to the glasgow rubbish or the hatred between derby clubs elsewhere. If they then reoffend a three match stint in the nessie uniform entertaining the kids would be the high security reoffend option.
  22. I guess the damage to the bus has to be paid from somewhere!
