  1. I have just read this on the ICT site. He sounds a decent enough guy and I am pleased he has identified who is actually involved in Muirfield Mills. Anyone who has invested substantial funds in our club deserves our support as long as they have no hidden agenda which I don't think this group has. They do however need help on the football side and I hope they get this soon.
  2. Owain is wrong. It's definitely pronounced Tudor and here's the proof .........
  3. .and a bit of a headache from your surprise defeat ?

The George is probably superfluous. Doubt that anyone would have assumed that you were referring to Fred Orwell. For what it's worth, nobody is stifling argument or debate even vigorous and robust debate, that's the lifeblood of this forum. What is objected to is personal abuse and insults. Surely, as adults, we are capable of disagreeing with somebody else without resorting to abusing them. You wouldn't, or at least shouldn't, do that to their face do why should it be any more acceptable to do so online ?
  5. Dundee United? Whit? We’ll scalp ye three to wan! ?
  6. Apologies Lorna as there appears to be a feckin "Bore War" going on here for some time. I am surprised that your post has not been deemed to be abusive. Hope there is a below-par performance
  7. Both clubs have to agree on price so maybe down to Falkirk?
  8. Fair enough. If I wasn't so lazy I'd have checked Alex Main's book first. However, my old season ticket below suggests that your date is not quite right. Added later Having checked Alex Main's book and a few other sources, I see little to suggest that the club was ever formally called Inverness Caledonian. Pictures of league flags and programmes from all eras invariably say just "Caledonian", apart from one programme from 1991-92 on the Caley Nostalgia website, which says "Inverness Caledonian". The club is always referred to as just "Caledonian" or "Caley" by Alex Main, and by Bill McAllister in his history of the Highland League. CB's "Against All Odds" is no help at all
  9. welcome Lorna. i hope you have a good day out but go home with only a sair heid from your tipple ?

No wonder, any crack or controversy is quickly extinguished, the sojers' day thread being a prime example. Not really bothered maself, but the site is as dull as ditchwater most of the time.
  11. Have we ever had a game where the referee was voted better than average?
  12. Well done ICT. It's a great idea to show support for our troops. I often look at the patriotism of the Americans and how they show support. I wish we had that level of enthusiasm for our soldiers in this country. The sacrifices they make are not acknowledged enough imho. Top marks to the club for this. ??????
  13. It's not only rangers who reward our armed forces aberdeen county hearts hibs all provide free tickets to forces personnel through a ticket website called tickets for troops so this rubbish about becoming rangers is nonsense. Have those who are moaning ever served in the forces or emergency services if not pipe down.
  14. Seriously folk having a go at the club for honouring our service personnel. Well done ICTFC top marks long overdue.
  15. Are people actually having a go at the club trying new things to get extra people along ? I think it's a good idea actually. Although I'd probably just restrict it to Army ?
  16. Or unemployed and existing on benefits day ?
  17. I do as I am a cultured gentleman.
  18. The correct proninciation of Paris is "Paree" but if you go round saying that, people just think you are a pretentious knob.
  19. I don't get it. Yes, please do. I like his paintings by the way!
  20. I'll go back and tell OFW he's getting his own name wrong then!!
