  1. 2-3 ..... looks like the unbeaten run comes to an end !!!! These draws have been papering over the cracks of our inability to win games ?

Personally, I'm so sick of this constant and unending talk of 'the board' on here. I support my team, have since I was young and always will. As long as nothing is going wrong financially, I care not one jot who the board are or how/what they communicate with me. I just want them to pick the correct manager, support him as well as they can within budget, and that’s pretty much it. The only real disconnect I have with the club at the moment is with this site, and the few helmets who take every opportunity to bleat on about perceived issues with the board and seem to think they’re speaking for us all. I go to games, and it’s good crack watching the team (well sometimes…) and seeing folk I know, few beers etc. Come on here however, and it’s always the same few folk constantly whining, and for a fans forum it doesn’t reflect any actual match going fans I know or have met. Personally, I have no interest in events like this or anything to do with our supporters’ group solely because of individual posters on here who seem to be running or involved with these things (see ridiculous SLO debacle for reference). It’s very clear they have personal issues with those running the club, and seem hell bent on proving points and highlighting any negativity to further their own egos over and above actually supporting the club. You can say that events like this are not attended because of a disconnect with those running the club, but maybe the reason fans don’t turn up is because a lot of us are just happy to go to games and have no idea what it is you guys actually want? That’s the case for me anyway, it’s not apathy, I just find this all incredibly boring. I’m even bored with my own post here, this is what CTO has driven me to and I feel ashamed.
  3. That was a hard one to take. We dominated for much of the game, but the hard truth is that very poor defending gifted them 3 chances which they efficiently put away whilst we created several decent chances which we should have done better with. There were at least 3 missed chances which certainly should have been put away. A bit more sharpness in front of goal and concentration at the back and we could have romped that. I felt McCart was excellent and that Polworth played better than I have seen him play all season. I didn't think Falkirk looked like a bottom of the table team (in fact, they aren't bottom any more!). They worked hard as a unit and were noticeably quicker than us getting back behind the ball after attacks had broken down. In Zac Rudden I think they have found a striker who will help them get comfortably mid table before long. They have taken 7 points from their last 3 games which is more than any other side in the division. The referee didn't help either. Whilst we were trying to play football, Falkirk were trying to stop us by fair means or foul. How the officials failed to notice all the holding Harrison and Brough were doing is beyond me. BBC Stats show 14 fouls against us and only 7 against Falkirk. It's a joke. At the end you could see the frustration of everything getting to the players and that probably led to the sucker punch at the end. All very disappointing but I am not as gloomy as many on here. There were enough positives there to make me think that when things click, there is a big league win in this side sometime soon. Hopefully the frustration and disappointment of today will get taken out on Edinburgh City on Tuesday evening and we'll kick on from there.
  4. A wake up call finally? The draws have been papering over the cracks for a good chunk of the season. There's a few players who seem to have slipped into a comfort zone (looking at you Brad) so hopefully we'll see some changes (formation or more playing time for a few of the youngsters). We need to get out of this rut to ensure our top 4 position.
  5. What about Doran? I doubt he is ever going to get back to the player he was at his best. We have been more than fair to him for years , continuing to pay him for being almost permanently injured. Surely there must come a time when we release his wage for someone who at least is fit enough to play?
  6. this was dire today too many players not good enough cant remember such a toothless ict team ever players and management need to take a long hard look at themselves fans are getting a raw deal here let's get sorted out for Tuesday night or crowds will keep disappearing hopefully in January we can bring in some quality we might then start enjoy going to games again
  7. It needs to be someone who goes to games home and away. Old Caley Girl, RiG and Red Card spring to mind. We definitely don't need someone who doesn't attend regularly. With L_G no longer at the club, we badly need a 'link'. The crowd on Saturday was abysmal. Surprised the board aren't worried about the dwindling support.
  8. The previous board and there ridiculous loyalty to Foran when it was clear before xmas he'd lost the dressing room and couldn't run a bath are totally to blame! Tho some deluded punters on here will no doubt blame yogi
  9. The squad is down to the bare bones ,how has this been allowed to happen . All very well getting rid of players who were apparently big earners but not replacing them has now come back to kick us in the balls. Appreciate the finances are tight but trying to mount a promotion challenge with a first team squad of barely 16 players is a big ask for any manager.
  10. Haha knew I'd win u over brother! To win you need to score and our strikers just aren't capable of double figures there must've been better than White available his record at Barrow was shocking I'd have kept Bell before him! Your right tho no more looking at midfielders we don't need priority in Jan has to be a half decent striker even on loan!

  12. It's a relief in a way that the unbeaten run is over as it had been masking a level of mediocrity all season. Not the worst we have played but the finishing, or lack of it, was as dire as ever. To lose at home after taking an early lead against the second worst team in the league tells it's own story. Somehow or other, we are clinging on to the final promotion play off spot but, if nothing changes, that will surely not be the case for much longer and a third successive season in the Championship, this time with no parachute playment, will be inevitable. I appreciate that things are hugely stretched from a financial point of view but, if the current regime have any ambition at all, resourses will have to be found from somewhere to strengthen the squad during the January transfer window. The season is still salvageable but not with the current squad of players.
  13. If we could afford a bigger squad we could probably risk having a couple of injury prone players. However, as our squad is, of necessity, wafer thin, that is a luxury we can't afford. I would still be inclined to risk keeping Austin but would punt Beith to anyone willing to take him
  14. More images to follow in due course.....
  15. Might be time to give Roddy Macgregor a start.
  16. Why is the club wasting a wage on Beith ? If he is not fit to play by January he needs to be shipped out for another injury prone player looking for a club

Ok lets be serious. I never started this thread as fishing or banter. The reason must have been very clear unless you have sunshades on. Gatepost had the hammer-nail interface. If you think that this is bullying then I would suggest that you either have a guilty conscience or you are in denial. I am aware that people are getting fed up with CTO due to the constant whingeing and regular negative references to the Board. and, by the way, Terry Butcher was/is a classic narcissist. Look up the definition. Perhaps the person being bullied here is IHE ?
  18. listen up folks Oakley 7 league starts 4 goals White 8 league starts 4 goals Anyone with any knowledge of football will know these stats are very good. Stop blaming the strikers and look at the other end of the park and maybe you will find where we need to improve.
