  1. Totally agree they are a dirty side with a whingeing manager, we have to stuff them on Friday night!

  2. Great win, and ,on balance deserved. That second goal was good enough to win any match. My worry for the remaining matches is that we won't have enough fit players. Several took nasty looking knocks tonight. But well done to everyone, they played with heart and quite a bit of skill tonight. Just have to cut out the silly mistakes (Carson, take note).

  3. Was worried at 1-0 but we came back and deservedly won. Sutherland definitely MOM for his goal and tremendous assist. We now need to finish the job on Friday. The worry for me was some slackness at the back. A couple of issues in the first half but how we got away with Carson’s error I don’t know. None of that matters as we won and are in pole position. Credit to them all, particularly after losing Walsh so early. And great to hear the noisy travelling fans.

  4. The sad recent passing of Stewart Anderson has got me thinking about the many characters who set out on this epic journey with us the best part of 3 decades ago who are no longer with us perhaps other than in spirit and fond memory. I wonder whether it might be appropriate to create a memorial wall either within the stadium or on the concorse to remember them subject of course to the consent of their families and those closest to them. As the years pass it is inevitable that more will pass including former players, coaches and directors as well as well kent faces and voices among the crowd. Would it not be fitting to mark their association with the club in some dignified and permanent manner?

  5. Great attitude to turn the game around with a goal and a superb assist from the Player's Player of the Year who, on that form, would hold his own in the Premiership next season. The injury to Walsh is a concern as is the non appearance of McGregor in the squad. Hopefully both will be available again soon if not in time for the second leg. What wonderful backing from the 'twelfth man (and woman) who outsang the home fans even when we were behind. No room for complacency, the job is only half done, but that was a big step towards the next round. An equally commited team backed by a large and vocal crowd now has every chance of completing the job on Friday evening. Can hardly wait.

  6. We faced a very dangerous Killie side recently and all our players gave everything. We need the same tonight. Brian Graham needs to be better marked than in the last home game. Will we play in pink? At the moment we do seem to pose quite a goal threat with our January signings now proving to be very positive. Reason to be optimistic but cautious, better than being in 5th, better than being a Dunfermline supporter.

  7. Go for the win in both games. No point messing about at this stage. Get about them early and keep the pressure on them; crack Partick this game and finish them Friday. May the force be with you...

  8. Amazing result, I would have taken a 1-1 at the start of the game, so coming away with a victory is terrific. We must now get our tactics right on the next game, and not defend from our 18 yard box for the majority of the match. Sutherland has certainly grabbed his second bite at the cherry at ICT and goes from strength to strength. Well done to all the team and travelling support.

  9. Terrific game with Caley playing some nice football and what a goal that second was.The pass from Sutherland was sublime. They were dirty players (Partick) and it looked like they were told to be hacking our players down. What a miss by Alegeria or similar name. Well done ICT support at the game.Lets finish it off Friday

  10. I am so glad we won that. A pitch that was a disgrace, and a danger to both teams. A cynical team committing foul after foul. A referee who let them off with so much. Two self-entitled prima donnas in Graham and Tiffoney. And BBC Shortbread's biased commentators. Ah well, at least there will be a decent pitch on Friday. Do we have the same officials, or different ones?

  12. Excellent result with a superb 2nd goal. It was a great pass from Hardy for Sutherland to run onto in space and his cross was inch perfect. Samuels then did really well to get on the end of it. Hope we don't carry too many injuries into Friday's game. For a while in the first half I thought Dougal Sim might end up as MOTM.

  15. Five games played in April with 3 won against Kilmarnock, Morton and Hamilton, 1 draw away to Ayr United and 1 lost away to Queen of the South which reflected in the votes. The winner for February is Shane Sutherland The Player of the Year leaders are close with thirteen points separating the top 6. 1st Shane Sutherland, 2nd equal Roddy MacGregor & Billy Mckay, 4th Scott Allardice, 5th equal David Carson & Mark Ridgers. With a possible 6 games to play in May depending how well we play in May there are still a lot of points to be gained so please keep voting.

  16. Standing room only today, a testament in itself to the Big Man's character who touched so many. RIP Big Stew, I'll have a dram or two for you and let's see if we can beat Partick tonight for you.

  17. Just want to wish our lads all the best for tonight's game at Partick. I notice that despite it being broadcast on BBC Scotland tonight, it doesn't even feature on the list of today's fixtures on the BBC Sport website, whereas the important league match between Partick Ladies (playing away v Aberdeen Ladies), is included in the list of tonight's matches!

  22. NAPS Champion 2021-22 - @Scotty - Congratulations to Scotty for finishing top of the pile and the only one to finish with a positive total this season. Been fun this year doing it and will gladly return for 2022-23, hopefully you'll all be back and maybe some others will join in also,

  23. Over the 2 legs we need to prove ourselves just a bit more sharp and thorny of the 2 Thistles.

  24. 117 tickets sold so £1,170 raised, which I guess is many times more than it would have raised in an auction, so great idea to raffle it and a great gesture from Paul Cherry to do this.
