I was one of many fans boycotting due to the Rangers issues. Luckily, the person involved has now left and I went back to the club for the first time in a long time on Saturday. The club is now being run by the committee and there is a big improvement already.4 points

Flip sake, this isn't about a strip (bogging orange one) but about much more than that. Hopefully some relevant questions and feedback are put to the 'Board Member' on Saturday 3rd February about Gardiner and his non ethical approach to the ICT fans.3 points

It's a ridiculous theory to think we want relegated, but the hard truth of the matter is that we have next to no money to sign players, and the club isn't exactly an appealing prospect to entice players to at the moment. This means that there might not be anything we can do to avoid relegation other than pray Ferguson can mould the current squad into enough to keep us 8th or better.3 points

All this chat about orange strips but nobody mentions the lost in football history of the orange ball. That needs a come back in winter. Whether the strip is right or wrong I guess now it's here the proof of the decision is based on sakes, profits and turnover. If its making the club good money then its a success otherwise its another concern fiasco vanity project.2 points

Sorry man but I have to strongly disagree it's a carbon copy of the Rangers orange kit anyone who says otherwise needs to go to specsavers. We haven't released a Orange kit in over 20 years n the last one had no blue in it. Looked more like Dundee Utd & that was the only one we ever did. Why after 20 years have we decided to release a Orange & blue kit??? It's baffling Everyone I have shown the away kit to has said it looks like Rangers not ICT that's very important Never had that with any of our kits. The clubs identity is important to me so that's why it annoys me. Our away kit last season was so popular they've re released this season as a third kit. This kit on the other hand will be on a half price deal soon in a desperate bid to get rid of them all cause no one is buying them2 points

We’ve been linked with looking like Rangers long before Gardiner was here. The home (when not using stripes) was always criticised for this.1 point

If it helps the steward is no longer employed by the social club. Allegedly he was the Rangers fan?1 point

Better going somewhere to play than sit on the bench for the rest of the season if the manager doesn't think he's ready. Suspect if we get short on numbers etc he's able to be recalled and at his age doesn't need to relocate.1 point

It's now getting ridiculous how we're seeing more players leave than arrive with just over a week to go of the transfer window!! If we don't get our finger out our arse and sign players then out squad is going to be tiny, ffs it's like we want relegated !!!!1 point

Interesting one this. Our previous signings from the Irish Premiership flopped but this is a different scenario altogether. Curtis Allen and Darren Mcauley had been playing Irish League for a few years and we didnt have any competition. Ben has just turned 21 and spent 5 years at Brighton before coming back to NI in the summer so he's had a good grounding. He's attracted a fair bit interest and a few teams have contacted Cliftonville to express their interest so I would have my doubts we could get him. Perhaps Big Dunc's name might be a big enough pull but he's certainly an interesting prospect.1 point

Duke, you must have given a few games “ A MISS “ during yogi Hughes tenure. I remember one game, against Dundee I think, it took 70 mins before we took a shot at goal. chuckle brothers football, TO YOU TO ME etc etc etc…………………….. Grampian TV had a piece prior to a Dundee utd game. John rankin, Utd at time, said we can’t afford to give ball away to ICT “ you will never get it back “ wow, some of those games were SOOOOO boring.1 point

May be in the minority here but as someone who enjoys watching slick passing football rather than kick and rush/lump it forward and hope for the best/hoof ball, I have actually been encouraged by the style of play Big Dunc has been trying to implement since his arrival. Yes it hasn't and won't work at times against certain opposition (and we need to have more than one card up our sleeve) and we are still shot shy and looking for the killer pass too often, but it's early days. I think it will be next season (with own group of players) before we truly see how effective this can be and whether or not it will bring us 'success'. Keep the faith, we are a work in progress and we need to give him a proper chance! When I think of some of the other managers who were touted for the job, I'm still thankful for the willingness to think a little bit out the box and try something new..... Sadly I've found at home games there seems to be a lot of negativity whereas at away games the fans really back and encourage the team until the end. Maybe it's just the people I'm sitting next to1 point

Seen we are linked with Ben Wilson from Cliftonville. Think this would be a good signing. Young and a great goalscorer. Still think we should be looking to add some creativity1 point

4-0 FT. Biggest Scottish Cup margin of victory this afternoon, which surely makes us favourites for the tournament.1 point

Aye & it looked nothing like Rangers see if we did something similar this season it would've been absolutely fine it's the blue tints that ruin it. Walk through any Scottish Town or City with our away kit on say under a hoodie or a jacket don't show the Caley badge & watch how many people assume that you're wearing a Rangers top...1 point

⁸ Not one of those kits look like Rangers orange kits though that's the issue..... see if we just did an orange kit with no blue, it would've been fine. Black or white would've been a perfect 2nd colour. We had no issue not having blue colours on our away stripes before last season being a prime example with Black & Red. So why did we decide to do orange & blue??? Sorry but it doesn't take a genius to work it out when you know Scott Gardiner is a bluenose. Probably trying to build some affiliation so the glory hunting Rangers fans turn up for the odd game....1 point

I'm afraid to say I think this is coincidental rather than causal. With or without Billy McKay on the park, when we have a slender lead or drawing, we drop deeper and deeper as the second half progresses inviting the opposition to come onto us and, more often that not, score a late winner. Billy McKay usually looks pretty spent by 60 odd minutes which is fair enough given his advancing years combined with him being asked to cover more ground than ever, dropping back to fit in with our current style of play. The problem for me stems not from substituting Billy itself, but from having a complete dearth of adequate replacements for him. Despite their height and presence, neither Lodovica or Sheridan have looked capable of holding the ball up and fulfilling the 'target man' role never mind threatening to score a goal. Whilst I still think Adam Brooks has the potential to be a regular goalscorer at Championship level - good goal towards the end at Cappielow - he ain't going to do that as a lone striker within our current set-up and no doubt needs more experience. It's clear that our lack of creativity in the final third, cutting edge and shots on goal is our most pressing issue to be addressed right now. I don't think we as fans will be the only ones who recognise that. The question for me is not whether Duncan Ferguson will be trying to strengthen his attacking options in this transfer window, but whether the current budget will enable him to bring in one or two players who are available, willing to relocate to the Highlands and **crucially** are better than what we already have. Having attended the vast majority of games this season, I am still confident we have enough quality within the current squad of players to keep us in the division. I also think if we can (somehow!) bring in a proven goalscorer or two - and see more of Bray, Doran and MacGregor - we can still challenge for fourth place. I know some will think that's deluded but we have actually played some really decent football at times this season (often away from home) and matched the best teams in the league....at least for the first 85 minutes!!1 point

Ayr have appointed Scott Brown as Manager ahead of playing Arbroath tonight, the game in hand they both have on us.0 points

Just found out he's banned the Wyness Shuffle Podcast from speaking to any players or members of staff that's why they haven't spoken to anyone from the club this season. Absolutely no clue as to why. Baffling decision! Can this guy be anymore of a d***head!?0 points
