"We hope that our loyal fans once again will rally to support the Club!" Well we might be inclined to dig deep and support the club if there was even the slightest effort to be transparent with us rather than the ongoing cloak and dagger routine regarding the imminent investment that was indicated to the Supporters Trust back in mid June. A firm date regarding Gardiner's leaving date would also buy some goodwill. As it stands I will not be renewing our season tickets until such time as there's clarity on the above issues.5 points

Good first half performance, second half pretty even. Well taken goals and we could have had a few more before the break. Some rough challenges by Nairn. Picks for me were Bray, MacLeod, Thompson and Mackay, but all the players worked hard. Yes, MacLeod made a poor pass which led to the Nairn goal, but these things will happen with the youngsters as they learn, and otherwise he was controlling the midfield. I was within earshot of Ferguson and he was positively encouraging and coaching the youngsters, which was good to hear. Raith will be a tough challenge, but there is hope. Gilmour will be back for it. Nicolson a month or so away from returning.3 points

I’ve just dropped off my uncle in law at the Orkney hotel, when I asked what was on tonight he told me that Aberdeen’s Chief Executive Alan Burrows and their supporters liaison officer Lynn Fiske were hosting a supporters question and answer session. I was amazed at this gesture from Aberdeen to send such high profile club officials to a far flung place to engage with what is surely a small fan base (perhaps 150 supporters). I can’t help but consider the contrast between ICT and Aberdeen here. We can’t even arrange proper press releases never mind real community engagement. Anyone arguing that Aberdeen have vast resources compared to us don’t have case to answer, a small number of additional supporters going to a game or buying merchandise as a result of such a session would surely be a return on investment.3 points

How much clout do the Supporters Trust actually have? Could the Trust please let us know how many members they have? If we are talking a couple of hundred then their influence is negligible. To have any real influence in my opinion we would need a membership figure which matches the season ticket numbers.2 points

That’s exactly the type of message Ferguson should be giving our young players and it will boost their confidence. His interview on Saturday will have done nothing for them. He needs to learn how to get the best out of people, and fast!2 points

The club have been investing all the season ticket and merchandise income in lottery tickets and scratch cards. No win yet, but they're confident it's just a matter of time and are asking the fans to remain patient.2 points

Well said Aaron! I sense that you are a bit mortified about the whole donations thing, but honestly, this was not charity - it was looking after one of our own. In fact, it has made some of us feel a little better about being an ICT fan, at a time when you have been treated so badly by the club. Whistle blowers get a bad press, but personally I think the world needs more people who are willing to speak out about mistreatment and miscarriages of justice, otherwise these controlling types just get away with what they are doing. If I was proud to have had you dedicate most of your career to ICT before, I think you are a true hero now. Good luck in the future and I hope you do feel that you can come and watch ICT games with your family, because the fans are the club and we would love to see you on the terraces.2 points

In the club statement of Friday 14th June, they stated the new kits would be revealed over that weekend. We're still waiting for the away kits. Did Gardiner forget to order them?1 point

I imagine the 2 week extension of the early bird offer is because they have just realised they haven't agreed a price for when the scheme ends.1 point

What a change in tone from Ferguson though: has someone had a word? He is praising the youngsters and talking them up. Now we need him to keep that up.1 point

Yes… it’s a different class of share that the ST has, created notionally back in 1994 to reflect the asset contribution of Thistle and Caley, and this is always worth 10% of the total voting capacity, irrespective of how many ordinary shares have been issued.1 point

Renewed my six tickets on Monday. Asked what digital pass was but didn’t fancy the answer ( too blooming old is the truth). Decided the old fashioned way was best and last years plastic cards were updated. (It is only new season ticket purchasers that we’re having to pay the fiver for the plastic card.) glad I went for the plastic card as I can’t think how I could forward the email as suggested below to 4 eight year olds who don’t own smart phones and don’t have email addresses. Remember - Your season ticket is valid for one entry per league match and whether you scan your digital card OR use your plastic card at each of these games is your choice. Once either season card type has been scanned into the ground, the other season card type will be disabled for that game ONLY. Both card types will be reset ahead of the next game for you to select the card of your choice. Digital season cards can be allocated to members of your party by forwarding this email in order for the party member to download the digital season card or by forwarding the digital season ticket card once it is downloaded to your device. Unauthorised duplication of your digital season card or your plastic season card will prevent entry into the stadium.1 point

Good article on the Nairn County website entitled Caley Thistle Connections Have a wee read ahead of tonights game at Station Park with Ross Tokely the man in charge at Nairn, and he also knows a thing or two about our youth players having previously helped at Inverness with the coaching. Here's Rossco>>>1 point

Oh it felt fantastic to see our team in action again. Pretty much agree with all that has been said - it is going to be a sharp learning curve for the young uns to toughen up for what comes next, but I felt so proud of them all and excited for them starting out on their careers. Good luck to them all. Lewis Nicolson was at the game - I don't think he is too far away from coming back now. Well done ICT.1 point

Great to see the STV News interviewing Aaron and covering the situation he has found himself in. A true professional who spoke very well about the circumstances and how badly he’s been let down. He also highlighted the lack of communication with fans and why would anyone buy anything given the silence from the club.1 point

Thanks to the Supporters Trust for continuing to keep us all up to date ............. in as much as anyone can!1 point

Totally agree with your post. Isn’t the Manager supposed to manage ????? Given the money he was and is on, the absolute minimum you would expect. He is NOT the right manager for this Club.!!!!1 point

It might go on to tomorrow, but after that, there is currently no information on what price season tickets will be. It is utterly bizarre as it is just another thing which stops people from putting money into the club. I can't help thinking that the club are resigned to administration but want to blame it on the fans for not supporting the club at its time of greatest need.0 points

I agree with all of that apart from the last sentence. I am certainly not anything like "done with the whole thing". I fully intend watching ICT for many years to come after the current custodians of the club are out of the door. I'm not going to sit back and allow the current management to kill off my football club and deny me the pleasure of supporting my team in the future. The key thing is to ensure that somehow, the club survives. One option is for one, or a very small number of "investors" to put a significant amount of money into the club. From the club's statement of June 14th it appeared this option might be on the cards, but the wall of silence since suggests this may not be the case. If no big money is going to come in, then the second option is for the club to be financed by a large number of small sources. That means investment from fans and support from local businesses and the wider community. That would involve a radical change in the business model preceded by a difficult transition period where the club opened up about the club's finances. The current position is clearly unsustainable. If nobody is coming in with big money to stabilise the club, the current management need to swallow a bit of humble pie and start working constructively with smaller shareholders, the Supporters Trust and other community interests to find a way to stave off administration in the short term and to develop a more sustainable model for the long term. Something needs to happen very, very soon.0 points

Im still bothered that the lies continue to come, or is it just a wee white lie? I overheard Gary Bollan reply to a fan yesterday when asked where Ujdur was. He said "he is not playing today because he had back spasms in training and he was left out of todays squad" So, what is the correct rumour. Is he still with us with a sore back, or is he away as suggested. It's time a spokesperson stood tall and told us exactly what the fork is going on. You would think the club thrived on all the adverse speculation going around. FFS tell us the truth for once0 points
