I am just going to get a ticket for each game even though it might cost more as I am so pi**ed off with the way the club has been dealing with everything!4 points

I favour a 5-4-1, with a full-back, winger and striker in the midfield, plus a non-scoring forward up front. We need to get a load of loanees in though, otherwise the players will waste the ball by shooting. For goodness sake, keep that ball in your own half where it can't do any harm!1 point

Was allocated same seats as last year in north stand. Can’t see even our club selling a season ticket for £182 ( oops clue to age) and then putting me in a seat that others have paid £230 for.1 point

Great player. Was right behind that one. Was in as soon as it left his boot. One of the best strikes ever at the Stadium.1 point

Mine too, and I feel we’d get the best of our current squad playing that formation now, utilising the pace of guys like Bray, Brooks, Longstaff and Thompson and getting Mckay back up front.1 point

Rose won the pens according to supporters who were there, meaning that only ourselves and Arbroath are pointless. There’s even an interview with Calum Elliot the manager on FB congratulating him on the win but I can’t get the link to paste in here. Any sources that list the actual penalties taken are a bit confusing- even the official SPFL results page which reports that Annan won. Either way I think we’ll struggle to get our first point on Saturday compared to the fixture last year which was a routine win although 2-1 makes it look closer than it was. Edit- it’s all the fault of the guy from Opta. Everybody else has taken it from that source.1 point

Hayes and Robson were my two favourite players. What Smee says is true, much of the excitement in watching football for me is seeing players take on defences when dribbling, nothing speaks of confidence more. My favourite formation was 4-2-3-1, with the two central defensive midfielders and the back four doing the groundwork which freed up the forward 4 to take on players and terrorise defences. The good old days.1 point

As expected there’s now a vacancy for the England manager’s job. For several reasons I would love it if Big Dunc somehow got the job!1 point

There is more exciting football on show in the above clip, that what i saw on show at the whole of Euro 2024. Could you imagine teams now trying to deal with attack minded players rushing at them, at pace. Shows how much the game has deteriorated over the years1 point

I expect attendance to drop as we progress and more fan melt downs blaming everyone when we sit mid table and it's evident the squad depth isnt deep and most of our youngsters aren't good enough or ready for this level. Fingers crossed Brooks or Cairns might get us goals because I'm not sure Billy will otherwise it'll be closer to the bottom than the top.1 point

I think that many others, outside of the Highlands, don't realise how bad things are with us. Was talking to my wife's Stenny-supporting relatives last week, and, even though they are plugged into most things happening at that level, they were still expecting us to be up there challienging for promotion. Even when I explained that we had a team of mostly untried youngsters, they still couldn't take it in. "You've still got Mckay who scores all the goals, haven't you?". "Yes, but he's into his late 30s now, and he can only score goals if he is in an attacking position and gets good service!".1 point

Probably a little too early to call this one for me. The threat of administration still hangs in the air and that could be the deciding factor. A 15 points deduction would almost certainly see us in L2 next season. IF we get new owners and investment then we could possibly make a challenge for the L1 title. Looking at the current squad and performances I can't see us making a challenge this season. We currently have a small squad and we get a spate of injuries - like we always do - we will struggle. I also feel sure the current manager isn't up to the job in hand. Lets see how it goes during the first few league matches.1 point

This has been a slow downward spiral for almost 10 years starting with a failure to develop and capitalise on successes culminating in a Scottish Cup and European football. Not looking at sustainable finances at that point and seeking investment and sponsors when our stock was high to then subsequent CEOs making incorrect choices. Cameron and Rae are equally culpable in this mess which has only been escalated by poor on field results and bad decisions through to the current regime.1 point

At least the North stand ST holders don't need to worry about losing their seats because only the Main Stand is going to be open for home fans. Another good reason to hold back on buying your ST.0 points
