  1. If we still have a team We are scheduled to play Annan Athletic on Saturday 19th October at 3:00pm as the second phase of League1 fixtures begin. Having played all nine of the teams we find ourselves second bottom of the table with only one win from our opening round of games, a 1-0 win over Queen of the South in the Highlands, who, incidentally are sitting one point off the top in fourth place. However, should administration hit us then a 15 point deduction would see us go bottom on minus 6 points. Worse would follow with top earners being removed from the club and all the other embargo's that go along with these situations. It's almost inevitable that we will drop into League two after 30 years of being in existence. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Match/Ticket & Bar94 Info Supporters Trust Fans Meeting ADMINISTRATION CONFIRMED Club Statement 29 18th OCT ICTFC GO FUND ME PAGE ALL OFFICIAL CLUB NEWS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Events off the Park have caught up with us after more than five seasons of tyrannical malfunction and despite some last ditch efforts to find a buyer to take on the club and their debt we find ourselves heading for Administration and redundancies and all that goes along with it unless there is one final twist to this sorry self inflicted saga. News coming out of the club is changing every few hours, so fingers crossed for a happy ending as we enter Administration on Monday. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our Season so Far on the park INVERNESS CT: D L D D W D D D L Our season got off to a slow start with a draw at home to Dumbarton followed by a penalty defeat at Annan. Another two draws against Montrose (h) and Kelty Hearts (a) before our first win of the season over Queen of the South at the Caledonian Stadium. We beat Stirling Albion 3-0 to send us into a fourth Rnd tie away to Livingston thanks to a brace from Adam Brooks and a strike from Adam MacKinnon. That was followed up by us throwing away a two goal lead at Alloa to end up with a 2-2 draw six minutes later. A Danny Devine volley and Calum MacLeod with his first goal for the club were the scorers at Recreation Park. Last time out we had a disappointing 1-1 draw at home against Cove Rangers who opened the scoring through Adam Emslie. James Nolan on loan from Manchester United's youth squad levelled the game before the hour. Next up was a home game against Stenhousemuir. Quite frankly this was a dull game with neither side able to score although Musa Dibaga did make a wonderful penalty save in the first half. Relegated Arbroath was our final game of the opening round of fixtures and despite creating enough chances, we came away from Gayfield with our second defeat of the League1 campaign. Away from League duty last weekend, we put up a good fight against Livingston in the Challenge Cup at Almondvale but lost out 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out after it finished 2-2 over the ninety minutes. Paul Allan and Charlie Gilmour were our scorers during the ninety minutes. Annan Athletic: W W L L L D L L W After an encouraging start to the season that included two wins over Inverness, one in the League Cup and one in the League, they hit a bit of a slump losing five of the next six League games before beating Montrose 1-0 at home. They crashed out of the Challenge Cup last weekend as Queens Park beat them 1-4, Nikola Ujdur scoring in that one. Our League encounter in August ended in defeat at Galabank at the start of the League campaign. Too Little Too Late: Inverness added their two new signings to their squad which meant Keith Bray was benched with Wallace Duffy returning to the starting XI and Musa Dibaga as back up keeper on the bench. Annan had one change with Josh Dixon replacing Paul Smith in midfield. Jack Newman had the only notable save of the first forty-five denying Aidan Smith after ten minutes. Other than that it was Annan on top without overly threatening. After the interval Annan were awarded a penalty after fifty minutes and Tommy Goss duly scored from the spot. That was the difference between the sides as Annan took all three points despite a late charge from the visitors. Plenty of early posturing and the first action for the keepers saw Jack Newman save brilliantly from an Aidan Smith header in the tenth minute as Annan came close to the opening goal. Inverness' first effort followed soon after as Adam Brooks shot over from a tight angle. Annan were controlling the pace of the game in the first quarter and forced three corners to no avail. Smith again went close on the half hour when he shot just wide. Josh Dixon shot over from the edge of the box ten minutes before the break and Wallace Duffy picked up a yellow for abruptly stopping an Annan attack. Half Time: 0-0 Danny Devine gave away a penalty five minutes after the restart when he fouled Tommy Goss who got up to slot home the spot kick into the bottom corner. Luis Longstaff fired a free kick over the bar and Billy Mckay was denied by the keeper after a turn and run from Longstaff. Almost a tap in for Smith but for a great interception by the defence. Devine headed wide from a Charlie Gilmour free kick as we tried to get back on level terms. A double denial for Inverness as Gilmour's effort was well saved then Devine hit the underside of the bar from the recycled ball as we entered the final ten minutes. Bray shot wide as we pushed for an equaliser with Annan looking for the final whistle. Annan were by now hanging on by a thread and a couple of late corners for the visitors came and went before the final whistle ended the siege. Full Time: 1-0 Here are your fixtures for Saturday 19th October and this is how the table looks ahead of Saturday's fixtures Pos Team Pld Gd Pts 1 Kelty Hearts 9 9 15 2 Stenhousemuir 9 2 14 3 Alloa Athletic 9 1 14 4 Queen of the Sth 9 0 14 5 Montrose 9 3 13 6 Arbroath 9 0 12 7 Cove Rangers 9 -1 11 8 Annan Athletic 9 -8 10 9 Inverness CT 9 -1 9 10 Dumbarton 9 -5 6 Latest Team News It's bad enough off the field of play, but we don't have our troubles to seek on the park either. Flynn Duffy, Ethan Cairns, Lewis Nicolson, Charlie Reilly and possibly Charlie Gilmour are all out. Danny Devine was missing at Livingston.

  2. Savage this afternoon confirmed we were going to hold off on administrators then goes ahead and does it. Not saying it's not the right decision but it's a total car-crash.

  3. Povlsen took one look at us and ran away. He already owns clubs in Denmark and Portugal so the multi club excuse (if true) would have been to get him out the door. I find it sad and pathetic that we have fans begging people with money to come in and throw it at the club for no good business reason. What's worse is that I suspect that will be the approach of the 3 remaining directors. Fyfes bizarre senile grandad like speech about the community department during the fans meeting is testament to that. Povlsen is not coming back to the table and we're seeing in Makwana and Anderson the type of interest we're able to muster.

  4. Not a take over bid...just helping out. Sorry they're a bit small [Bet365 list]. I was going to use McBookie but there are two games missing from the list.

  5. This is in today’s Daily Mail. I really don’t feel inclined to comment… not even to say that the man needs the kind of help that few involved with Caley Thistle would even want to lift a finger to assist him getting.

  6. That’s my reading of it too. Satisfaction was in respect of a floating to charge to RBS created in 2016, but we haven’t owed banks anything for years as far as we are aware, and also, Morrison would not have been able to get his own floating charge if there was already a valid floating charge in place to somebody else. Looks like an admin tidy up to remove a potential complication that might slow down the administration process.

  7. To highlight one part of tomorrow's matchday information, Bar 94 will be open after tomorrow's game until 6 pm, thanks to some of our volunteers. During this time, a presentation will be made to the Man of the Match. We hope that several players will pop in, and that many fans will take advantage of the bar remaining open. If it proves popular, we will look to make it a permanent feature.

  8. This sounds like an interesting consortium set up purely to avoid administration. I personally can’t see it being a good thing for the long term future of the club sadly. My concern is that Alan Savage would walk away from the club if this deal goes through

  9. Press Release I just received: The Directors have signed a Notice of Intention to appoint Administrators to be filed at the Court. We envisage that the proposed Administrators will be appointed on Monday or Tuesday. A plan is in place to allow the club to continue to trade whilst efforts to secure a long-term future are explored. ICTFC Board of Directors

  11. Yeah, that's the area I am in (slightly to the right of the goals, not in amongst the absolute nutters right behind it). My section is more sedate but still stands and chants all game Thats all for another thread though. Quite a few ICT supporters I have either taken to games or who have been here on their own and even a few in the stands regularly like @luvgravy. They will be adjusting the stadium this year in preparation for the World Cup in 2026 but as far as I know, the two ends will only have temporary structures that will be taken away after the world cup. Unfortunately I also agree, but perhaps he might come back to the table if or more likely when we enter admin. He doesnt then need to deal with all the debts or people who may not have impressed him or his representatives during any talks. I live in hope as he would be our dream benefactor. This is the worry ... and very likely our current board might be tempted to take an offer, ANY offer, that staves of administration regardless of the long-term sustainability (or lack thereof) of that offer. We are not in a strong position to negotiate or ask/demand favourable terms. If we are just going to lurch from almost admin now to absolutely admin in six months' time, I would rather do it now. If we get relegated as a result then so be it, we can rebuild and refocus (hopefully) and start the journey again. If we wait six months until the end of the season and have a dalliance with an "elastoplast owner" in the meantime, then our current manager may find it impossible to motivate his troops and we get relegated anyway, then start 2025/26 -15pts in League 2 at best, with even more uncertainty about dropping into the pyramid or worse. Personally, I have to say I don't want anyone owning the club that is listed as a 'capital', 'equity' or other hedge fund like organisation. We are not a profit-making enterprise and that's typically all those are interested in. If we dont make a profit, then asset-stripping to the point of getting the land or the stadium is all that they must be interested in IMHO. I would love for Povlson to come in and spend a little bit of money based on wanting his 'local' team to do well. Get us back to the Premiership perhaps and maybe a dalliance with Europe on the odd occasion. That really has been our pinnacle up to now. The idea that the North Coast 500 route could have a start/end point at the stadium might be a way to drive more business to the stadium area (no pun intended), and perhaps adding some services for these people starting out here, or the long suggested hotel that has been talked about for one of the corners of the stadium for decades might help generate some revenue for the club. However, I also understand a lot of people have concerns over the impact of increased traffic on that route so anything tied to that may be controversial.

  12. Exactly this. Why would anyone come in now and take on the full ridiculous debt the moronic predecessors (and some current board) got us into rather than wait a bit and likely get things at a reduced cost?

  13. Just drove past the the stadium. Saw Graham Potter, Gareth Southgate and Jürgen Klopp in the car park. Maybe all 3 are gagging to be involved and willing to replace our current coaching set up should there be a 'clear out'

  14. But the finances won't be under control, and can't be. The 3 clowns left as Directors are deluded. Admin is the best thing we can hope for because we won't have these fools involved anymore. We will be a bargain for someone which is I suspect what will happen. Go into administration, price drops like a stone, get a bargain.

  15. That David Anderson bid never looked substantial enough to stand up. I think we are now hovering very close to administration, although I could understand a desire not to announce it until after tomorrow’s game. Presumably the words “under control” mean during or after administration.

  16. I mean, just playing the maths, he can quite easily turn us into a Champions League side without leaving a dent in his bank account lmao. Could punt in £10M/Season for 20 seasons, and it'd only be 1/35th of his £7Billion worth. Sadly I can't imagine we're getting £10 Million/Season and starting Jude Bellingham and Haaland every weekend

  17. I'm praying someone does, or at least begs for the board to bend their demands to suit his demands. This is the closest we'll have to a Shiekh Mansour. Fellas worth £7 BILLION, AND HE WAS INTERESTED IN US. US. A TEAM ROYALLY SHITTING THE BED AND LOOKING LIKELY TO DROP TO LEAGUE TWO. Palming him away over a hypothetical situation, is bonkers. Better yet, has anyone that matters at the club even got a club email, cos all the contacts on the site are for the SLO and the like... Then again, that said, as he did cite the debts as pushing away, I suppose theres a reasonable chance of him swinging back into the spotlight following administration

  21. When asked by The Press and Journal to sum up Gardiner’s time with Caley Thistle, Morrison said: “Was he perfect? 100% no. “Are you perfect? I’m not, not a chance, I couldn’t run a football club." We learned that the hard way.

  23. Laughable article. Leaves out that Makwana couldn't prove he had the funds for the takeover Overlooks the shambles of the Puma deal, Harper transfer and 7,000 unread emails Doesn't refute a single claim made against him More garbage spouted by a serial liar who is scrambling to ensure he will get another job in the future.

  24. Dunc working for free will ensure he survives administration I suspect. Whatever happens it’s a gamble for Dunc, if he is sacked then his career in management is surely over given his previous management efforts. If we keep him on with £0 salary/minimum salary and fail thereafter, his career is over. The only way to save his career is to succeed and win, a tough task indeed given the circumstances. We’ve not seen any prospect of loan players coming from Everton, given his previous there you’d think there should be solid potential in that link. If I was Dunc I’d be begging Everton to release 4 or more quality players on loan to help us survive administration until the end of the season. If we were to survive a -15 point deduction from administration then there’s something to be said for that, it would be a big feat given our current position.

  25. Can anyone explain what the point of Gordon Fyfe is? Sat looking like Joe Biden as in he might dose off. Then comes to life with a rapturous speech about the great work of the Community Trust, which has absolutely fk all to do with the issues of the club. Also him being the one as far as I can recall who's been there throughout this shambolic downfall yet never answered a damn thing.

  26. It’s OK Snorbens…. it’s Dougal…. it’s just the kind of bitter and frustrated curmudgeonliness from him that we have all come to know and expect. Cut the poor soul a bit of slack since there’s clearly not much else in his life if you deprive him of the anonymous abuse on here which is his only opportunity to feel as if he has achieved something.

  27. Clear out of them all from very top to bottom. The calibre and quality (ability) of what’s came throu the youth structure over the past decade has been sadly not good enough. Why retain any of a failed system. Start with a clear slate and don’t close minds to looking at Dingwall.

  29. You have actually answered (in the last paragraph) what I was going to ask and that was, would the Anders bloke come back in if we entered administration because if so then that would be beneficial in our efforts to return back up the leagues to at the very least, The Championship . I'm not sure how tomorrow will go but I have a feeling that we may get the result we're hoping for and this Anderson bloke will save us from administration .
