Yesterday was epic, we thoroughly deserved the win, Billy's goal was magnificent...the wait at the end for Annan's result just added to the moment Keeping Bray to see out the season one of many crucial decisions I wish him well for the future [maybe I will see him at Palace!] Well done Scott Kellacher, cometh the hour cometh the man I said elsewhere that ultimately being docked 15points was more significant than we thought, the club has rediscovered itself, team and fans as one Inverness is such a fab place, the air is so pure, you guys are lucky It's a privilege to be an ICT fan ------- Got home at 2am, and watched the Palace v Villa FA Cup game, I didn't dare even follow it on my phone so only found out the result when I got to Inverness Airport Ignoring the cash differences (!) there are similarities with the two teams that draw me. Palace fans support is epic, which I see at Caley away games, and the noise from the North stand was great yesterday, we need to build on this What a lovely weekend9 points

I certainly did! Struggling to keep the tears at bay Days like yesterday are what football is all about5 points

Here are some stats. With one game to go, ICT have won (as opposed to currently have) 55 points, which represent 1.57 per game and currently correspond to second place. Under Duncan Ferguson, 10 games yielded 1.20 points per game and under Scott Kellacher, 25 games have yielded 1.72. Scott’s contribution is equivalent to 62 points across the full 36 game programme. However these numbers don’t give the full picture of Scott’s achievement since from the moment he took over when administration began, he’s had to work with a squad that the Administrator was obliged to weaken considerably and which the club has had very little scope to shore up. I think that’s an important and underestimated factor when it comes to this season’s magnificent achievement.4 points

Great stuff today, looking forward to next season already. Let's hope we can keep most of the squad together and keep moving forward . Special mention to the on loan players who unlike last season, really looked like they enjoyed playing up here and whose contribution was invaluable.3 points

Yesterday was testament to, and reward for, the leadership shown by Kell...and the hard work put in by the team. Proud of all of them.2 points

Well done to James Nolan and Alfie Stewart for coming right over to sing and celebrate with the fans in the North Stand at the end...a nice touch.2 points

Yep, Couple of howlers after seeing the replay, However, we were surely due a wee bit of luck! Allans penalty was very poor, must say I'm not a great fan of placing the ball down the middle, it really needs a crack high down the middle if that's the target. But what a great day! The team looked really up for it which is fantastic for the home fans as we've seen a few dodgy performances. Well happy! Now for Montrose!2 points

Well...there you go, got the Kelty and Stenhousemuir results the wrong way around...but pretty good! Except we needed no luck yesterday Anyone want the lottery numbers!2 points

A great result and for those on here who keep saying Billy McKay is finished what a performance from our record goalscorer this afternoon. He led the line brilliantly, scored a cracking goal and won the penalty.2 points

Never in doubt! Caley Jags secured League1 status after thrashing Arbroath 3-0 whilst Dumbarton dump Annan 3-1. This result was never in doubt after goals from Keith Bray with a header, a Paul Allan penalty...just, and a superb strike from Billy McKay just after the break coupled with Annan's defeat ensured that we'll be back next season, bigger, better and with less points deducted in League1. What a transformation after the shambles of a club we were left with during the reign of incompetence and administration before that was replaced with Scott Kellacher and the stability from Alan Savage, or as he will forever be known as Alan Salvage. Statue on order for Scott Kellacher and Alan Salvage! FULL TIME: 3-0 When it really mattered, Inverness took the bull by the horns from the off to record an emphatic win over Championship bound Arbroath, who made another eight changes this week after last weeks below the belt tactic against Annan. This week it was the full nine yards but they were quickly undressed by an eager to please home side who took the lead when Keith Bray headed in a deep angled cross from the industrious Ben Brannan. The keeper did get a hand to the powerful header but could only palm it up into the net. What a start for the Caley Jags! Ten minutes later a spritely looking Billy Mckay almost added a second when his effort from inside the box was pulled just wide of goal. After twenty minutes and with Inverness looking sharp, Paul Allan slipped Billy into the left side of the box where he was unceremoniously upended by the keeper as he rounded him. Paul Allan took the spot kick and we held our breath for a couple of seconds as the ball spun away from Aidan McAdams and trickled into the net just out of his grasp. No more than we deserved at this point, although the keeper might wonder why he got his hands on both efforts but failed to keep the ball out on each occasion. I'll call it Karma! Another chance fell to Mckay when he went into the left side but this time McAdams made a fine save to deny a third goal as the striker shot across him. Alfie Stewart had a shot saved soon after as our domination continued and just on the break he fired a powerful effort over the bar. HALF TIME: 2-0 Not everyone was back in their seats at the start of the second half in time to see Billy Mckay score the best goal of the game when he received the ball left of centre inside the box. It all stemmed from a long throw in by Ben Brannan. Three or four headers later Charlie Gilmour put his head on the chopping block to nod the ball towards Billy who took one touch before curling a beauty round the defenders and into the net with power. Tremendous goal from Lazarus Mckay who came good at the right time. Game over and to be honest that killed the game as a spectacle as the last forty minutes were played out at walking pace as both sides were content with their lot. It was maybe dedicated to the Duncball era as the ball seldom went forward and any chance of another goal seemed unlikely. Maybe that's why we had a couple of youngsters entering the field of play to break the now tedious patterns of play. Who cared, we only had to wait for the fire alarm delayed ending to the Dumbarton v Annan game. When it arrived it was joy all round with the Sons winning 3-1 to end Annan's hopes of avoiding the play off and confirmed our status as a League1 team for next season (-5 points) FULL TIME 3-0 Trevor Matin's photo catches the moment we knew it was all over as the final whistle went at the Rock. What an achievement after all the adversity throughout the season. Look at the joy on these young faces. Well done to everyone who made this possible. Scott Kellacher has been a breath of fresh air this season and although it was not all plain sailing, we came good when it mattered. Loan players have come in to help out and have been brilliant. Take a bow Bavidge, Stewart and Brannan. Our own youngsters have played their part as well and Billy Mckay started scoring again when it mattered most. Whilst Dumbarton going into administration gave us real hope that we could stay up, at the end of the day their 15 point deduction has actually made no difference to us securing safety.1 point

Unlike League 1 (thankfully), this is going to the wire with only 40 points between first and third. Still all to play for before Gringo can claim the title…..1 point

Just in from my celebratory drinks and taken my paracetamol ( not as young as I used to be) What a day! Well done boys - knew that you would do it. Thank you. It reminds me of when my kids were wee and we were on the way up for the first time. Lots of wee ones there today - let's hope that the next generation are so lucky. Hoping to get to Montrose next week for a wee jolly. C'mon Caley1 point

Me too with grandson and his pall and when we got there there were no hot dogs left only Kit-kat's, cheap day for granda It was a crunch match and we certainly 'crunched' them. Great game, great support, great result and well done to all the team and staff today1 point

Brilliant performance today fully deserved let's hope next season will cement new beginning for the club. Hopefully new regime will treat the fans with the respect that they deserve. I hope that lots of disillusioned former St holders will return to the fold I for one still waiting for phone call from SG regarding why I left the fold. thank god he's gone.1 point

Fixed it for you: Worth adding that we now have the best defensive record in League 1. Arbroath were best for most of the season but then Duncan Ferguson left!1 point

For those not there: Fans Awards: Musa Dibaga and Keith Bray. Players Awards: Charlie Gilmour and Keith Bray. Well deserved.1 point

That was a brilliant performance. Arbroath had one attempt all game and we comfortably outplayed their first team. The atmosphere was good and Bar 94 after the game was jumping, particularly when Kel and the players came in. The drum and singing in the bar added to the atmosphere. I am delighted Billy McKay deservedly got the Man of the Match award as he was immense today. I hope he remains a player next season, but without the pressure of being our only striker. His comments on receiving his award were spot on, as were those from Danny Devine, Musa Dibaga, Remi Savage and James Nolan (apologies if I’ve missed anyone but it was very loud!). In a strange way, this feels as good as our Scottish Cup win, albeit for very different reasons. What a relief to have avoided any last day drama.1 point

A great performance from B McKay today. His timing, vision and passing kept the Arbroath defence uneasy throughout the match. Great to see him turn back the clock for one final time. I was at the pie stall so missed his goal (curses)! bc1 point

"If we get a 15-point deduction, we are not going to be able to stay in the division unless we probably win every game and every other teams loses every game. "It would be a nearly impossible task. One we would try to overcome and win games, but if administrator comes in and cuts the squad, which I think he would do, it would really be a tough ask. "The 15-point deduction would more than certainly relegate us."1 point
