His "effort" against Hibs last night was hilarious :tonguecheek:

Didnt really like him. He was pretty lackluster

I agree.... he does lack a bit of luster...

Thought he was meant to be signing for County.... Or was that until he found out where County was?

Just been informed he's signed for Ross County on a deal until the end of the season.

Source is someone in the Ross County coaching set up.

Someone pulling your leg methinks. Stuart came on for Aberdeen against Hibs on wednesday night

also in line up v celic yesterday not sure if got on or not

Maybe Roscoe23 only thought he heard one of the C*unty Coaches say Duff was joining them.

Maybe we'll snap him up for next season, but it looks like he is staying put for now.

Classic

I would like him to join as Cox is injured

Just been released by the Dons

Would you take him back? Good in center midfield and has also played well as a right back on occasion.

I used to take the p*** out of him when he was in a Dons shirts, but he's proven himself to be a tidy player when played in the right position.

He did well during his month here and i think he enjoyed it here as well. He would be a good utility player to have in the team and on a free i'd happily have him back.

no thanks

This poster says naw.

I thought he played well for us in his short spell and would be quite happy to see him back

He said he did not like the travelling. He nevertheless played well and would probably blend with players he knows.

From speaking to him, he thoroughly enjoyed his time here and didn't actually want to go back to Aberdeen after his loan spell finished.

Also thought he did a more than decent job whilst here, not easy to slot into a totally alien setup and hit the ground running, but he managed it.

The question is, how would we use him, and does he offer anything more than what we have already?

P.S. Going to move this to non-ict as there's no actual basis for rumour in this, purely whether or not we should be showing an interest.

Have heard Butcher was trying to tie up loose ends for Duff on Saturday. Source is pretty reliable so I would this to be confirmed in the next couple of days if he decides to sign

I would be very happy if he returned.

I was pretty impressed when he was with the club.

He's got valuable experience.

I'd be happy enough with his signature. A solid player with SPL experience who can play in centre midfield or right back; a better Dan Stratford if you will...

Looks like this should be back in the Rumour Mill!

Don't really rate Duff to be honest.

I though Butcher was in hospital last week getting his knee done?

I'd take Duff. I'd also consider Charlie Mulgrew.
