Just a shame lovell is an overpaid, useless lump. Wouldn't mind his bird at the tcs on a matchday though

He said: "Steve feels that until the problem with his ankle has been sorted that it is impossible for him to do himself justice. "Steve hasn't asked for any pay off for his contract being cancelled which is to his credit and we wish him all the best for the future." Credit to Lovell for not holding out for a pay off or insisting Partick honour his contract,he realised he couldn't do the job justice and asked to be released,Respect to him for that, unlike many "sicknotes"

March 28, 201016 yr His late goals against us, 2 or 3 i think, always made me dislike him as a player
March 29, 201016 yr Possibly, Barry Wilson certainly did. But you could hardly say we've been haunted by ex-players. Dargo, Wyness, Bayne etc have hardly made us regret letting them go.
March 29, 201016 yr sign Lovell now? NO. He seems to have shown more than a little integrity in negotiating his release from Partick because he knows his season is over due to injury. In the end, he only signed for them because he couldnt sign for Bournemouth and I would not be surprised if he tried again there for next season.
