Nick Ross called up and scores for U21 Squad

No surprise really, but the squad has been announced for the N. Ireland game.

Full squad here.

  • Just heard that Nick, in common with the rest of the U21 side, doesn't get to keep the shirt he wore last night on winning his first Scottish cap. That was always an established tradition, and it goes

It was probably some Falkirk fan, who always seem to have loads of players in under 21 squads, despite Falkirk not being very good.

Very Proud Of Nick Ross

i was delighted to see that nick made the squad, even more so that he has marked his debut by scoring.

He has made remarkable progress this season and whos to say how far he can go

we really need to tie him up to a longer contract as he has a lot to offer our club

Well done, Nick. A great debut indeed. May this be the first of great goals in future. Best wishes from all in the Supporters Club.

Well done that man!

Funkin awesome Nicky Lad!!!

Great goal as well!

Just saw it on skysportsnews.

Delighted for him when I heard he was in the squad, for him to score on his debut is just immense.. Take a bow son, and keep up the good work.

Good work lad, may there be many more.

Wasn't far off in the Aberdeen game either.

Future ICT legend!!

Get the boy signed up on a 5 year deal because there's a fortune to be made here.... delighted for the guy.

Was at the game last night, Nick was very quiet when he came on but took his goal well with a *slight* deflection....well done Nick, future call ups are in the bag i hope.

Great night last night, Govan Jaggie, Red Card and myself sneaking our way into hospitality and mixing with the great and not so great (Donald Park / Derek Tw@t Adams) and taking full advantage of the free food and beer on offer!

Also nice to meet and share a (free)beer with Nick's parents who were even more proud than us after the game!

"Who's Nick Ross?" muttered some ill-educated young weegie type when we were cheering him coming on.

"Who's Nick Ross?... You'll soon find out!" was Govan Jaggie's response and how right he was!

Great night and well done Nick, well deserved. Although he should've been on from the start.

Who's Nick Ross indeed. Where have these fools been?

I'm very pleased for him. I hope that will give him the boost to go on and start knocking them in for us on a regular basis.

The lad is going the right way,all in the learning curve for him.Scotland full side will come, would have easily slotted into the team at Pittodrie from what I saw on the night

I had a feeling right from day one that he was going to be star.

People are saying he is going to the next ICT captain and he has football intelligence.

Now Tel get him signed up on a long term deal!

The keeper was a Falkirk player and MY GOD - he was SHOCKING.

To be honest while it was good to see Nick play for the under-21's and score I was not too impressed with many of the players. I wasn't filled with confidence for the future of our national team at all. One plus point I guess is that many of the players (Ross, Hanlon, Wylde, Saunders, etc.) are already getting 1st team football at a decent level.

Aye well done Nick , a good confidence boost for Saturday against Hibs

Hopefully another goal or two :ictscarf: :ictscarf: :ictscarf:

MON THE CALEY !
