2025/26 Squad

From the Inverness Courier, it looks like we can offer existing players contract extensions even though we're still in administration.

According to the P&J, Danny Devine is the first to say publicly that he intends to stay.

Looks like a decent signing. Permanent deal too! But PLEASE can we get a striker?

I'd imagine that will be what Kel, Charlie Christie etc are focusing on now 👍👍.

I may be in the minority here but tbh I think we're actually ok in terms of the other positions so it's really only a couple of Strikers we need then I'd say we should be finished our transfer business 🙂.

A cousin of Bob's, bet he hits a mean wedge

New signing today!

image.pngInverness Caledonian Thistle FC are delighted to announce the permanent transfer of defender Oscar MacIntyre from Hibernian FC, on an initial 1-year deal subject to SFA clearance.

Oscar, 20 years-old, predominately a left back but can also play right back. He signed for the Hibernian Academy in 2019 from fellow Edinburgh side The Spartans. He signed his first professional contract with the Hibees in 2021 and he made his first team debut in May 2022.

While at Hibs, Oscar had two loan spells with League One side Queen of the South both last season and previously for the first half of season 2023-24. He spent the second half of 2023-24 on loan at Annan Athletic.

Another from Lasswade High School. Hope he makes a bigger impression than Guy Kerr…

(Mind you, we were a Premiership club back then. And the same school produced Paul Sheerin)

I agree but think Oscar is an important signing to ensure we have cover at the back, worth noting that Devine and Savage are our main centre backs, so different players will need to fill in as CB's from time to time. I'm slightly conerned we've not seen anything of Ross Millen pre-season

Looking back

Did Millen not start one of the cup games and then disappeared again or did I imagine that?

He played against Elgin and pretty sure against County too.

We probably didn’t take any chances with players today given the league is looming.

Best news today😀

Just heard we have signed 3 players today. Bavidge, a defender from Watford and some other guy was the news?

As Aaron would say 'bejesus!!' As DF would say 'How?' Amazing to see the club begin its recovery in such a positive way.

So we've signed on loan from Celtic Mitchell Robertson, Centre back with the Celtic B team. nice one!!

A busy day but presumably that’s our squad now complete. On paper it looks good, with competition for places and cover should injuries or suspensions hit us.

I’d expect some of our youngsters to go out on loan to get valuable game time, a luxury we couldn’t really afford last season. It could do guys like Keogh and Corner a power of good.

That was exactly my thoughts after the Mitchell Robertson loan just after 8 👍👍. We seem well covered in most positions now so I really don't see the need for anymore signings unless injury forces us to, which would be unlikely imho.

Poor Kel and Billy will have tough jobs to pick their matchday squads now with all these options but I'm fairly certain it's a problem they want to have 😁.

A serious statement of intent from Savage. We now have a squad which should be strong enough to dominate this league. We need to be putting down a marker at Kelty today and wiping out the points deduction by next Saturday.. Massively up for the season ahead. Time for folk to back the team in numbers home and away.
