Is this broken record back on again? Johndo what does this actually mean? It was a bad day for everyone, not just Butcher. He got it wrong. Team got it wrong, those who didn't bother to turn up got it wrong. You can't blame one man (refer back to your blaming the players and crowd remark) no matter your palpable dislike for the guy. Change the record - your far more interesting when you do.4 points

I genuinely think that Terry needs to take a look at the situation with Foran as it's abundently obvious that his presence on the park does more harm than good. Not saying he doesn't have anything to offer but his tendency to attack his fellow players so fiercely seems to leave them scared to try to do anything just incase they make a mistake and have to face his wrath. He was far from without fault himself today and whilst he was quick to jump on others I didn't see him even acknowledge to the rest when he screwed up. That wasn't something we witnessed with this team when he was absent when the players seemed more relaxed and confident when out on the pitch and performed to their best as a result. Maybe he just needs to lose the armband and the power that comes with it so we can get the best of him without him having this bad influence over the others.2 points

Top scorers in the SPL, 1 defeat in 11 and 3rd in the recent form league. It's not all doom and gloom.2 points

Having watched our defence today a big 6 ft 3 plus defender wouldnt go a miss, should just bring Golobart back.2 points

*Stand back lads, I'll handle this* That was garbage, utter garbage. It's a sad state of affairs when you concede five goals and Reguero and Raven are your only decent players. The tactics were all wrong and ICT seemed spooked by Murphy and Humphrey. Their attacks were like a hot knife through butter. Is it just a coincidence that the team are playing well, playing good football and playing as a team until Foran comes back and all of a sudden normal service is resumed? Can Andrew Shinnie and Foran play in the same team? The former was on great form in recent weeks, and as soon as Foran comes back, is rotten? Foran has some good attributes, but I'd sacrifice them for what Andrew Shinnie has brought recently, any day of the week. Ross Draper was also hugely missed and you'd be forgiven for forgetting that Morrison was on the field. Sutherland coming on as a winger. Has that ever worked? And the second half formation of the 4-4-2 diamond with one winger and Andrew Shinnie moving wide beggared belief. From the very beginning Motherwell seemed sharper and more up for it. ICT seemed all out of ideas and had body language that didn't suggest a happy team. ICT were gubbed by the better team, but it was a crude and embarrassing performance. No wonder there was people laughing when Foran was announced as MOTM.2 points

All those international call ups taking their toll. Terry should just tell them to say they're injured.1 point

Come on Luke. Your positivity is admirable but I find it hard to believe that any ICT fan can have found that game today genuinely funny. first till last minutes abit of an exageration but after they almost instantly regained their two goal lead after we pulled one back i knew the game was gone, there was no point in wasting a good half hour moaning now was there. motherwell are our bogey team anyway. i came away saying we dont lose often but when we do we make the most of it and lose properly. no point in greeting about it, the players always have a chance to redeem theirselves next week. we looked very tired today, just wernt at the races, and after the players have given so much over the last 10 games it was to inevitable that we would lose eventually with the depth we have to our squad. hopefully well bounce back next week.1 point

Nice to know Terry thinks it's funny. No-one else did. i found it funny. i took the pish from first minute to last. mostly at all the oldies going mad tbh. it was rather amusing. if some people could hear themselves.1 point

It is worrying that the crowd is down and the atmosphere still stinks which is something we have to try and combat. Just say we got to europe is the ground going to be as quiet even though we will have a larger attendance. But i think we do deserve an SPL side remember we are still a young club and john robertson said it we havent had generations of fans to build up a large fanbase. St Johnstone is the key point though, they have a larger stadium and have got crowds no bigger than ours so to say we dont deserve a team in the top flight because of the size of fanbase well do St Johnstone and they were one of the founder members of this league1 point

I was out in Sneck last night and never bumped into any of our players which surprises me considering they all turned out like they were hung over. Every season there is one game that just needs to be forgotten. Today we seen this game. From now on in we will win, lose and draw but we will play and play well. Celtic are there for the taking next week.1 point

A very poor performance and like some have already said we were lucky it was only 5. The crowd today was a huge worry today particularly after a run of good form, people were saying yesterday how Aberdeen had a big crowd and the difference it makes when the team is playing well, why are we not rewarded by the fans in the same way. Something that Caley D said a few weeks back stuck in my mind "does Inverness really deserve an SPL team"1 point

The club do need to at least look into the idea, correct. Surely the admins can point this in the direction of the relevant people, be that the ticket office or higher up?1 point

We got brushed aside by Motherwell today and rightly so. In the likes of Humphrey, Murphy and Higdon they have some of the most dangerous and industrious players in this league and we didnt set ourselves up to counter them at all. Time and time again we play them and allow them too much time on the ball and get punished as a direct result. We carved out decent opportunities sure but Randoplh had a fantastic game, emphasized but the save he made from Doran's strike, he is a top class goalkeeper. We bounced back the last time we took a hammering from them and im hoping for the same sort of reaction after this. We've made too much progress to chuck it all away now, need to stay right behind the team.1 point

IBM & Capital Caley, yes it probably would've been a good idea to do that, but we didn't anticipate that the club would have it that badly organised to not even keep a separate allocation for a "singing section". It's a derby & we all know how poor 90% of our fans are in creating an atmosphere, surely it would make sense to group together the minority of fans keen to try & create some sort of atmosphere. It also doesn't help the fact that once we realised we had tickets separated from each other, we tried to swap tickets with the ticket office to put us together, but were told that couldn't happen. Doesn't leave is much of a chance does it? In the grand scheme of things as Jamie ICTFC said, we will be sitting together. There is not a chance that we are going over there & not create any sort of atmosphere. If the travelling bin dippers can manage to organise a singing section as already quoted in this thread, it's criminal that we can't. The club could easily contact county & inform the stewards/police whoever else necessary that there is no allocated seats or something similar. We all know that with the mix of main stand library fans & slightly noisier fans, it's only going to cause pointless arguments & awkwardness. The club needs to look at this,we can not be getting atmosphere wise.1 point

Morrison did himself no favours today and was practically anonymous - missing in non-action. He is the type of player that I would play away from home in a holding position. Butcher tried to slot him in as a direct replacement fer Draper and in the same combination as Draper/OTJ. Butcher again made the mistake of trying to fit players in to a rigid system when it simply doesnt work. OTJ looked annoyingly apathetic but he needs to get the ball at his feet to be a play maker. Muvversmell bypassed them and McCall had clealry sussed our system and played two wide attacking wing backs and two wide attackers. That left G Shinnie and Raven rather cruelly exposed on their own. Tactics won the day in the end.1 point

bad day at the office. Maybe a result to stop the blind optimism was a wake up call. Fight every game as a relegation battle and perhaps we can have the winning run again. A bit more caution and a realisation of limitations. We dont become a bad team overnight, then again, we have also been punching a little above our weight. A little more focus on not losing, rather than always winning will see us ok.1 point

Bad day at the office. Motherwell were in our faces straight from the off and were set out to bypass our midfield. Tactically they knew what to do and please don't let our bad play take anything away from Motherwell, they were outstanding today. Too many of our players off form in the same game. Missed Ross Draper but lets not get carried away with this. If anyone had offered me top six after 14 games they would have teeth marks in their wrist. Last time we lost to Motherwell we went on an unbeaten run. No panicing please1 point

This result, just like Dundee's win against Hibs yesterday, is probably also a reflection of the sheer unpredictability of the league this year. It seems that everyonne is capable of beating everyone else on their day and no team has any real consistency. We are getting unexpected results each week and we may well continue to see that happening. We shouldn't read too much into individual results but should take the defeats on the chin whilst enjoying the wins. If proof were needed as to just how unpredictable this season has been so far, you need need look no further than the SPL Prediction League on this site where you will see that Doofer's Mum is the clear leader. I rest my case.1 point

Liam Keogh was released in 2007 and signed for Peterhead and then Elgin City. He packed it in at that point and went to work offshore. I remember when we got promoted in 2004 people thought he could push on into Scotland contention! Didn't quite work out like that. I was there when Keogh scored his first goal btw. Paul Bradshaw ended up playing for Forres again. I'm sure I heard that during one season he stopped showing up for matches and training when the Can-Cans were out of contention for the title He really was a waste of talent. If Steve Paterson releases you from your contract for being unprofessional, it's time to re-evaluate your life.1 point

I'm not too fussed that it is played at Easter Road it is a nice stadium and it is the right size for a game like this I much prefer this than a half empty Hamden. Also what is the difference us playing Hearts at Easter Road than playing Celtic at Hamden? Another thing this cup is run by the SFL not the SFA so for once the SFA are not to blame in this situation. We have drawn 2-2 this season against Hearts at Tynecastle despite being 2-0 down and down to 10 men I see absolutely no reason why we can't go and beat them this time at Easter Road. Anyway, really looking forward to it. If the club can get details of the ticket prices and bus prices, an idea for the club could be to market some of the tickets as a Christmas present - sell it as a bundle of a match ticket, a seat on a supporters bus down to the game and maybe throw in an extra or two such as a special edition semi-final programme/scarf/poster etc. Not sure of the cost involved with this though but a possible avenue to look at.1 point

but this is going to be a sell out, everyone will be spread out, this is the time where the club should be making a section reserved for those who want to STAND together and who do create an atmosphere.1 point

Mammoth. What are you talking about? I never mentioned where she was born? And she is famous, so that hardly counts either. But she's an intellectual lightweight. If that's the 'hand she's been dealt with' then stick to chick-lit and chat shows. She's personable enough but I want our country's leaders to be giants. She fits in very well with the Camerons, Johnsons, Blairs, Cleggs and Millibands of this world. Where's the drive behind her? Where's the original thought? Where's the economic depth? We've settled for mediocrity and photo-passable politicians for far too long. I find it madness we have Osborne as the Chancellor in a government with Ken Clarke and Vince Cable in it. Get rid of these poor excuses for pop stars and let's have some serious heavyweight minds.1 point

Robert Peel, Pitt the Younger, William Gladstone, Benjamin Disraeli, David Lloyd George, Stanley Baldwin, Winston Churchill, Harold McMillan, Harold Wilson...err....Louise Moensch...I think not. One more self-obsessed idiot gone. How about politicians with a bit of life experience? A bit of intellectual weight behind them? Not these professional poodles that have never known the stress of sacking or being sacked when it actually meant something.1 point
