  1. It appears our 'keeper has a talent as a painter - but not the Ian Black type - but more the oil-on-canvas version. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3248315/Life-canvas-Inverness-goalkeeper-Owain-Fon-Williams-original-oil-paintings-exhibited-gallery.html Here, he's showing his excellent work of one of our former players......Cowie!
  2. I shoved up the recording of today's ICT goals on my Twitter page
  3. well given Hearts had no shots on target, he probably had the time. Probably a still life of Dani Lopez.
  4. Didn't he also do a painting of the game v Hearts? You know, when Sho-Silva ended up on the canvas.....
  5. I'll be pleased for Shinnie , but this should have happened two years ago. Of course he hasn't become a better player, only that he now plays for a more fashionable team. For me, if Shinnie is now selected, Strachan has just confirmed how shallow he is. Not Shinnie's fault of course.
  6. Thought we were really good in the first half today and felt that Danny Ward kept Aberdeen right in the game as we could have easily been out of sight by half time. I was really impressed with Miles Storey today and his goal was well placed - far better than Dani Lopez. Ryan Christie's goal was an absolute belter and just shows how much talent the boy has - Celtic are lucky to be getting him so cheaply. I thought the referee was garbage today. All in all a great day for us, bring on County!
  7. We absolutely destroyed them in the first half. It should have been at least 4-1 at half time and could easily have been more. And that would not have flattered us in the slightest. We were hanging on a bit at the end but it would have been a joke if we hadn't won I though Aberdeen looked pretty poor to be honest. The goal they got was the result of their 32 blocking off Fon Williams and the referee doing nothing. I thought Beaton was useless in the LC semi against Hearts, and he hasn't improved. The Aberdeen players were throwing themselves about at the end, which was pretty embarrassing. Thought Christie was unlucky, but would like to see it again to be sure. Storey looks a real find - if the ref had actually done anything to stop the constant holding by Taylor then he may have caused even more damage. If we play like that week in week out then I think we will be fine. The Scottish media may have to rethink the coronation of the champions elect, however.
  8. Well thats Aberdeen been put to bed. But This next game is the one! It's the one i've personally been waiting for since winning the Big Cup. Win, lose or draw, i hope we are all ready to 'rip the ****' for the whole day about our recent Cup and European exploits, whilst Uncle Roys chequebook receipts keep rustling to the tune of envy and bitterness and a deep rooted lust to Equal our 21 year success story. They really are just another Chelsea-esque plastic franchise, no character and no History. £4k a week Davies is suspended along with our very own youth product and Local Hero Ryan Christie (we didnt need a Football Academy to find a local £1m superstar). I hope we can have a few extra players back from injury for this one as I am wary of what they could do. they seem to be strong in the final third, down the right and on the counter. This is an entirely different beast we will be facing compared to recent years, (thanks again to Sheikh Macgregor) but i have full faith in our Guid Honest Laddies! #scottishcupchampions #weknowwhatweare #86yearsF*ckAll
  9. I actually though Mutimbo did ok when he came on. Certainly seems a bit more lively than when he first came on. But a good shout about Sutherland - I forgot he was on the bench. He'd have scared the bayjasus out of Ash (named after the tree I presume - about the same mobility) Taylor who turns slower than a pint of milk.
  10. Section 3.5, immediate suspension I'm afraid. yeah, and two yellows means no appeal. jagster said that Christie would miss the next game when he was sent off but the wee mannie in front said it had to be a straight red for him to miss next weeks game
  11. The form the Dons have had of late and the failure to take any points off them before,I felt 1 point would have been a good result. Great game to watch, great team performance and our players also won their personal battles too. Considering they have some of our players who we couldn't afford to keep, we made them along with the rest of their team look mediocre. Referee was pretty inconsistent, bias may be a better word and even upset the Dons fans later on in the match as he tried to balance things out. All in all a good day.
  12. Both got sent off for 2 bookings so the suspensions won't kick in til after the next game IIRC.
  13. Incredible save by fon Williams in second half to keep us at two one Outstanding
  14. Brilliant stuff by OFW and he's no a bad keeper as well.

Can't see Hughes going there - poisoned chalice. It's really messy behind the scenes at United. That doesn't mean we shouldn't offer Hughes a contract - he deserves it.
  16. Section 3.5, immediate suspension I'm afraid.
  17. Tremarco injured in midweek so that is why he was out, Vigurs and Sho Silva injured in a friendly so can hardly conclude that the above is valid. Why would you even contemplate saying this?.
  18. Aberdeen Manager in secret talks to sign more ICT players!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34299512
  19. Fantasic result, especially as it was against the recently crowned league champions!!
  20. .what the hell are they doing In training when foran, tremarco, sho-Silva and Lopez are all missing from the bench? 4 of them have barely played in weeks
  21. Very impressive talent and a demonstration of a down to earth individual. Let's hope he can update the Mona Lisa with a Moaner Loser after McInnes post match interview today.
  22. 1 point
They are on sale.Don't think it was announced tho....
  23. Well done to the lad if he is called up, thoroughly deserved - he has no control over the criteria the SFA use but he moved to Aberdeen for reasons he could justify and right now that team is top of the league and he may get the call up to the national squad he wanted. I would suggest from his personal perspective so far its been a successful move helping meet his aims only helped by his excellent start to the season and numerous MoM awards. I do wonder if the perception of the quality of players we have does make a difference, he always looked the best player in our team but has now moved to a squad with more quality and internationals yet still looks a cut above. The biggest surprise for me still is that Celtic never took him afterall LB is clearly their weak position, his stay at Aberdeen may be short if he continues this kind of form as its only a matter of time before bigger clubs notice him further.
  24. It's pretty a standard red top story but it is a bit galling to read it at face value and assume that he has only been playing at this level since he went to Aberdeen. Apart from maybe a wee dip in form around the start of this year Shinnie has been a consistently outstanding performer for about two seasons now. He is playing no better at Aberdeen than he was with us. He has deserved a call up for a long time now and whilst I am disappointed he never got that chance with us it's great to see that he is finally getting the recognition he deserves.
