Pity over McNaughton. Very good player, oozing experience, BUT, --too pricey for his age and injury history.Conclusion? Correct to move him on probably. Robbo needs to rebuild for the future. Meaning he has to introduce players who will have a longer future along with staying ability. IMHO. The move opens up the door for lads with more playing life in them. Younger players also recover from injuries more quickly.

The family home that was promised in the contract not living up to expectations perhaps...

***Update*** Having just looked at Companies House today, it appears that Willie Finlayson is still NOT a director. Current directors are Ian MacDonald, David Cameron, Allan Mackenzie, Alan McPhee, Graeme Rae and Ken Thomson. At the end of the season, Finlayson was recorded as having resigned, along with Gordon Munroe and Kenny Cameron. Richard Smith had already stood down in April. There is nothing filed to reappoint Finlayson. What's going on?

Hopefully the cohesion in the team will get better (it has to!), planning along to either Nairn on Fri or Elgin on Sat - see what's what. Given the rather large rebuilding job which Robbo is undertaking just now, I'm not expecting anything too dramatic...

Enjoying the comments from the Forres game. Not particularly enjoying the comments about Jock Finlayson. Hopefully It should all sort itself out, so long as they are all on the same page up in the Boardroom. Anyone heard from Kenny Cameron of late? Also would hope that Richie Foran has got himself a reasonable job after such a sad end for him.

He's only 21. Most players at that age tend to have not pulled up many roots unless they're something quite special. Look at Hayes record when he joined us. Hardly breathtaking. However we can hopefully provide the springboard for young players to showcase their talents. We just need to get better at maximising revenue from them.

It was obvious in the first half that the team had not played together previously. Without the aid of the wind in the 2nd half and with Draper/Leith being far more disciplined in positioning you are correct that Forres were rarely in the game in the 2nd half. There was a definite lack of end product however over the full part of the game and whilst Elbouzedi showed flashes there was rarely an end product to match (reminiscent of Mulraney??). Saw little in Davidson (though he was starting to come into the game when he came off). Would not be surprised if he has a broken foot and the tackle was poor (first foot caught the ball and second foot came through and got the player).

Thinking Aaron Doran could be a key players for us this season(if he stays fit) any word of him returning to fitness etc? Skillfull players like him and Mulraney could be important.
