Seven league games, four of them at home and a possible three home play off matches to come. With our current form, promotion is a real possibility. That possibility could be enhanced with larger and more vocal home support, the away support is fantastic and has never been an issue. It's clear folk have stayed away for a variety of reasons from issues with the board to our poor home form and results earlier in the season but it's time for those folk to return and play their part. An extra thousand or so fans loudly backing the team would inspire the players and be the difference between another season in the Championship and a possible end to full time football and a much brighter prospect in the Premiership. Whatever your reasons for staying away, come back and let's rediscover TOGETHERNESS.

There are all sorts of reasons why fans don't attend. To accuse them of not being fans is unreasonable and unfair.
  3. To be fair to Robbo, he has to juggle with a quite small squad to play 4 games in a short space of time. Last night we were outstanding for 80 minutes. Real high tempo but an injury to Welch created a need for change. Aaron had run his socks off. The sub changes then let Alloa back in the game. However, we just survived. What is evident about this season, is that we learn game by game, so I expect a more composed 90 to 95 minutes on Saturday. That game is very very important to us. Win that and it puts significant pressure on Dunfermline. Regardless of the nervous end to last night's game, let us really get behind the team Saturday. They are really playing some great football for most parts of games at present.
  4. Another assist for Polworth last night? Must be his 54th assist of the season now. Not bad for someone who looks sad all the time.

I am a long time fan and season ticket holder. I support the team through good times and not so good. I go with the Travel Club to away games and, if for any reason I can’t go on the bus I pay my fare plus extra for first to score etc so the Travel Club doesn’t miss out for my absence as empty seats still have a cost. However if a fan can’t go to a game, for any reason, that doesn’t make them any less of a fan. Each to their own, but, please one day will Invernessians appreciate ICT and support them any way they can, please.

Maybe more read it who don’t go to games actually

May be a moot point but a fans forum is usually read by fans who already go to the games...need alternative means of reaching out to those elusive fans.

If there is a reason they cant go they can't. If there is no reason they can't go then that's up to them , but I wouldn't call myself a fan if I could but didn't attend.

Each of us trying to enrhuse and persuade at least one person who would not otherwise attend would be a good start.
  10. That makes sense. Thanks.
  11. What pleased me about the performance last night was the way we played as a team. For the bulk of the game there was good movement and passing when we had the ball and good pressing of the opposition when we didn't. We were dominant and had our shooting been a bit better we would have had 3 or 4 by half time. But we were not as sharp after the break and allowed Alloa some hope. The third goal should have snuffed that hope out and seen us comfortably see the game out. We had been in complete control in midfield with Chalmers, Welsh and Doran all having excellent games. but their departure completely changed the midfield dynamic allowing Alloa back in. Accepting that Welsh's substitution was enforced, it is still a bit of a worry that we didn't adapt better, didn't show a bit more composure and that some players didn't up their work rate in order to see the game out safely without conceding. Goal difference may well be important at the end of the season, yet at the end of the game we were all mightily relieved to hear the final whistle. Let's hope Welsh's injury is not serious because he is growing into his role well and is becoming increasingly important to the team. Just a word on Alloa. They may be bottom but at least they try to play good attacking football. None of the hoof and hope for them. They tried to get the ball down and play a passing game and often did that very effectively.
  12. Based on your location I assume going into the shop isn't going to easy for you but would phoning up and asking for a specific section be an option?

Couldn’t agree more the very fact we are top of the league in away games would back out what you say. Which in reality is what the manager said weeks ago but was slaughtered for it as folks took it the wrong way. Replicate Caleyaway fans at home would make so much difference as we really can be the 12th man.
  14. Very good performance last night for 80 mins or so , we look confident and all players seem to playing for each other. The two lads Rooney and McHattie who were re introduced to the team slotted in well. Solid all over the park and that’s now six wins in the last 7 games , we are on a roll , but as like many times before we concede two goals which means we need 3 to win. However we shouldn’t let this ruin which was otherwise a very good performance and result and the players have grown into a team. Im feeling very confident going into the latter part of the season.
  15. From the point of view of playoff matches, you are right. The difference in prize money last season between 3rd and 4th was around £70K. Every little helps. If 3rd, presumably there would be a little more in bonuses to pay out. But after that, there could be enough left for another player, or for work on the pitch.
  16. What was your take on what you saw last night
  17. Chuffed to get that win, sounds like the lads had a very good 79 minutes and then switched off letting Alloa get back into it. Like Fraz says I hope Robbo gives them a boot up the arse so they stay focused in the final 20 minutes. Hopefully we can hold onto third!
  18. We shouldn't need that bloody warning given how many goals and points we've shipped in the dying minutes of games this season! Should be well learnt by now ?
  19. Totally coasted the game until that last ten minutes. Switched off and Alloa fighting relegation sniffed an opportunity. Alas it was not to be for them. A warning for us for next couple of games to play for the ninety minutes. Another great performance from Doran.
  20. Danylo--forget IHE telling you to stop being sarcastic etc. He's just an older fellow with not much in the way of welcoming gestures. But when you get to know him he will amuse you by sending a picture of himself with a beer spilling on his kilt. Be kind to him he's getting older every day. Then you will know that he really approves of your dynamic approach and will wish you all the best we can provide. Personally I love your description of the fire and spirit of our team. By the way, believe it or not, I have been to Arkadia and a really nice walk it was too. We sat in a fielD and Liliya's yoiunster amused us by climbing a tree.

If they can go but don't then they're probably not fans then.
