  1. McKay was going to come on just before we scored. After the goal he took his seat back in the stand and then Hyde came on to tighten things up.
  2. It's just been pointed out to me that there won't being dancing in the streets of a Raith tonight.
  3. I thought we were a defender short before this…

I haven't used the streaming option but from what I've heard the quality is much better and justifies the price increase. We sit just above the mid point for streaming charges in the Championship from what I can tell. Of course don't forget that streaming of games is a stop gap. Clubs probably don't want fans at home long term. They want them down at the stadiums spending more money on strips in the club shop, in hospitality and so on. Pricing a stream so that it detrimentally affects your home crowd on match day is not a good idea.

The biggest frustration for me is the poor communication that we get. If there are six e-mail addresses that cannot help. Most businesses have one primary address for customers (eg [email protected]) which they prioritise monitoring and responding to. Live chat functions on websites, between published hours, is becoming common and could be a good option as it can be less labour intensive. It needs to be someone’s responsibility to monitor and reply to social channels and e-mails in a timely manner and they should publish service levels that they are seeking to achieve (eg reply within one working day), and send an acknowledgement if they will be unable to achieve that (they could even automate it so customers get an automatic acknowledgement so know the e-mail is being actioned). Regular, proactive updates from the Chairman or CEO would be welcome. This could take the form of a monthly bulletin circulated on social channels and on the website. This should be augmented by updates when anything of note happens (signings etc). Too often we get a burst of activity at season ticket renewal time then little for months. Each time we have had a new Chairman we get promises that communication will be improved. Now is an opportunity to actually achieve that. The club knows it is an issue, and that it is important to fans, so they should sort it. I welcome the Focus Group and hope it helps to deliver improvements, but visibility of the issues discussed and how they are followed through will be vital.
  6. That was probably the best performance I have seen for a long time. If they can continue this form they will do well
  7. Soooooo good to be back at a live game at long last (we didn't get tickets in any of the 300 supporters draws last season, so it has been a while) and it didn't disappoint. Well done boys. I thought the lads played a real team game and thought Duku gave his all. Even on the sidelines it was plain to see how much better Billy Mckay suits ICT blue as apposed to navy. It is a bit nerve racking, but I'd be delighted to watch 1-0 wins all season.
  8. I noticed at the game today how few children were in the North Stand. Maybe it is just because it is the school holidays, but perhaps the club could start promotions/ competitions/ online links with team members etc. through the local schools to get these youngsters supporting their local team again (too many Rangers and Celtic tops on weans around the town for my liking)! Sometimes the parents need a wee nudge to consider a season ticket.
  9. Zanatta. He knew he had the beating of Carson, particularly during Raith’s strong spell early in the second half. We seemed to be pushing Walsh further forward so Carson had less protection than earlier in the game. I was surprised when Raith hooked him, but it gave some of our fans the chance to boo his replacement, Keatings.
  10. I agree. We only had one defender on the bench today, Harper, with no sign of Duffy.
  11. I enjoyed the game and great to get the result, with a goal fitting of winning any match. A bullet finish by MacGregor after Duku laid it off to him. Good to get a clean sheet but we had some troubling moments, often self inflicted, which was how Devine and Ridgers got their bookings. Ridgers could have got a red with a different ref. A lot to be positive about but we were not dominant and Raith’s pacy players caused some problems, particularly early in the second half. Duku clearly enjoyed noising up his former employer and incurring the wrath of the noisy away support, and was probably our top player. With no cup game next week, hopefully they can use the time to tighten things up so we keep the ball better, and then we have Ayr at home which should be winnable. After the cup games, it is great to be off and flying in the league.
  12. Raith looked better last year tbh. Only trouble we had today was self inflicted.
  13. Absolutely. Hopefully, the gloom merchants who were predicting a disastrous season after our poor League Cup showing will be heartened by our 100% record in the league so far and no goals conceded. I certainly know I am, especially as Raith are tipped as title rivals this season.
  14. Aye that’s what I meant. I heard we had scored but nobody had posted on here even after about 5 mins.
  15. I need your help x 2 - I am being investigated by the Seer Society Complaint Committee - It has been suggested that I have shared my prophecy but I have responded that this was simply a hopeful prediction and I had not quaffed a voddie or looked into my crystal ball prior to posting. I have now quaffed my first voddie, looking forward to hopefully being in attendance at Killie (away) and Plastic Whistle (home). Six points is as good an opening haul as we have had in seasons. OH AND DONT FORGET TO SIGN UP FER THE FANTASY FOOTBALL
  16. My daughter’s team beat Raith this morning too. Must be hard for those guys having 2 matches in one day!
  17. Then there'll be dancing in the streets of Sneck
  18. Could go either way ! Get Macgregor and Doran on if we don't score early second half...
  19. Turn down volume of announcer please someone 🙉
  20. I’m assuming this collated email address is being used to streamline communications into the club, is it also then to be used to streamline communications to the supporters trust who, I reached out to in March and have yet to receive a response?
  21. Is asking the media team to pull the finger out and do their job an acceptable contribution to the next meeting? Seeing as the response by the club for this, that and the other on twitter has been woeful in comparison to admins we've seen in years gone by... People need their questions answered, not just left ignored, it doesn't give the club's social page a good look
  22. Absolutely, assuming it is in good faith and not a box ticking exercise and that the club not only listens to the concerns and suggestions of the fans but, where appropriate, acts on them.
  23. Only greed and self interest stops there being 2 national divisions of either 16 or 18 with North and South regional divisions beneath.
