  2. Onwards and upwards- as expected - losing Henderson is a blow as we need everybody on board. But I suspect that somebody will blame Dodds

  3. Only one goal conceded in the last 6 by arbroath... Very big challenge.

  4. A good win against a battling Arbroath. Henderson's deliveries into the box producing again for Shaws goal. Stonewall penalty and well taken. Not sure if Henderson merited straight red ? We gotta definitely be on a run now

  5. Job done, scrappy game at times.Henderson and Shaw stand out again with Robbie Deas showing true leadership at back.Another good game for Carson. We just have to win remaining games

  6. Well, I'll take that after the first half. Pity about Henderson sending off. We could miss him in last few league games. Anyway, well done lads for getting the win tonight.

  9. Assuming the BBC website is correct, and it’s still 3 yellow cards for a suspension, then Duffy is the only one who would miss the final if booked and we beat Falkirk.

  11. I said the same thing to my son at the Raith game, if Dan Mackay can't get a game here, how is he going to succeed in the top league? He should be ripping this league up. In my opinion, he left us far too early, he hadn't really established himself In the first team when he left, and another season with us, or as Christie did, get loaned back to us after he signed for Hibs would have benefited all parties. I fear that if he doesn't find some form soon, he could drift from club to club, which would be a shame for a player who has so much talent.

  12. Kind of think Shaw is everything that Daniel Mackay is lacking. If he can't make our starting 11 when we still have folk injured, how is he ever going to get even on the bench at Hibs. This is not a dig, just what I have seen this season.

  13. It's amazing what a few wins can do so we have to keep winning, nothing else will do. The league table for the last six games.

  14. Saw them for the first time at Galashiels in December. Terrific night, Mrs Mantis even stayed till the end instead of asking for the car keys so she could go and read her book. I see they’re playing at the Bught on my birthday in July. They’ve got a 20th anniversary concert at the Usher Hall in May so I suppose they qualify as ‘Classic’ ?

  15. A well earned three points and a great team performance from the team tonight Arbroath are a sh1te football team although Dick Campbell might disagree

  16. Comfortable win in the end against a poor Arbroath team. Poor refereeing again with Arbroath players trying to con the referee into giving fouls by screaming in agony and rolling about when tackled then getting up and running about as normal. Shaw got booked as a result of that. Thought Henderson's red card was a bit harsh and the ref was very quick to red card him.

  18. So much for the attacking line-up! Only one shot at goal (not on target) in whole of first half. Must do better after the break. Come on lads, keep our season alive.

  21. Jeezy Peeps mun - we're on our way to Hampden and steadily up the league. One game at a time and it says a lot about our season that we are more nervous about playing lower placed teams, especially at home. Anyway the fat lady is still on bed rest and croaking.

  22. Everyone’s taste differs but I’d put Skerryvore and Tide Lines ahead of Skipinnish. That’s not to say they are not worth going to.
