I wonder if that penalty save from Musa could be something of a sliding doors moment. By all accounts we were outstanding after the save and it seemed to galvanise the team. He comes across as a thoroughly decent guy as well as a good goalkeeper so delighted for him. Back to a positive points total seems like a milestone. A tough couple of games coming up but onwards and upwards we go.7 points

Looking at the avalable data on the teams . Inverness Caledonian Thistle 32 pts Cove Rangers 17pts Based on scrabble we should win 3 -2 Cmon caley thistle. We start climbing today.6 points

That’s potentially a season defining win. After losing an early goal, to save a penalty and score two goals to turn it round and get our first away win is just what the players needed. By all accounts it was a well deserved result and, after the players hearing the support they have from fans in Bar 94 after last week’s game, confidence must be high. We’ve made up 4 points in Dumbarton over the last 2 games. There is still a long way to go, but things are looking up. Now we need a good crowd next week to help the team overcome Alloa and get us back to back league wins for the first time this season.5 points

Full time! What a result. Dumbarton losing too makes it even better. Going by the stats we completely dominated with lots of shots on goal. Shows we can compete with any team in this league. Reduced the gap to Dumbarton to 11 points.5 points

I hadn’t until today been taking much notice of League One crowds apart from Inverness ones (which seem to end in 01-05 incredibly frequently) and was quite surprised to see the crowd at Cove today was as low as 551. At Inverness they remain in the 1509-1900 range and today in League One, the 1565 for the local derby between Montrose and Arbroath was way above any of the others and probably exceptional because it was a derby. So far, ICT don’t seem to have done too badly maintaining the kind of crowds they had in the Championship with a fairly small drop off. Let’s hope that this can continue because a fall to what emerges as typical L1 numbers would be fairly disastrous. A credible campaign to survive in the third tier would certainly help.4 points

For me it’s 50% as we should discount the Dumbarton game given what he and the players had been through in the days leading up to it.2 points

Am I correct in remembering that’s the first time we’ve picked up 3 points since being a goal down since Queen’s Park last December? Either way, domineering second half performance…. On the bus back from Aberdeen feeling more positive than longer than I care to think2 points

A fine afternoon for a game of football and after a minutes silence it was game on. Billy Mckay brought out the first save of the game but one minute later we were behind. No surprise for guessing that Mitch Megginson opened the scoring. The on form striker fired home after Fraser Fyvie threaded a ball to Blair Yule who unselfishly teed up Megginson to open the scoring. Half an hour gone and chances were difficult to come by with Cove not shy to halt our attacks by fair or foul means. Touch wood and Cove had the opportunity to double their lead when Megginson stepped up to take a penalty after he was fouled by Jake Davidson. Musa Dibaga saved his spot kick and two minutes later we were level when Adam MacKinnon's shot from outside the box found the net. Just before the break Luis Longstaff slashed wide after James Nolan headed down to him in the box. HALF TIME: 1-1 Longstaff and Billy Mckay missed the target and Nolan had his attempt saved as the visitors started the second period on the front foot. Goal scorer MacKinnon was unfortunate as his long range shot came back off the post and Nolan missed the target after good work by Jake Davidson. Megginson brought Dibaga into action as the big keeper denied the strikers low shot towards the bottom corner, the keeper saving comfortably. Charlie Gilmour's deflected shot from range at the opposite end had the same result, Demus saving. However, the visitors persistence paid off when Keith Bray drilled in from outside the box. Gilmour shot over and Mckay saw his shot saved as the visitors looked for a wee cushion in the final quarter of the game. Into the final ten and substitute Declan Glass fired just over as Cove looked to level the game. In the final minutes Glass saw Dibaga save from close range at the expense of a corner as the visitors held firm for an important three points. FULL TIME: 1-22 points

You are right that conceding the first goal is usually fatal for us - but I think the last comeback was at the end of January when we won 3-2 at Raith (when we thought Alex Samuel was going to be our saviour after his hattrick)1 point

We WERE a supplier (of website hosting, internet services, upgrades/updates, and other IT services) but Mr. Rae & Ms. Crook put paid to that, although paid is perhaps not an operative word given the moonlight flit to a German hosting company and several unpaid bills at the time. That has long since ceased to be an issue and to be fair to the previous incumbent of the CEO chair, we never had any dealings with him so neither I or CTO are creditors of ICT. I guess it's all down to the shares. Definitely not going to be filing in any claim on that front. I wrote that £250 off when I spent it. If I am still a shareholder once the dust settles, great. If not, then it may be a case of buying more if we get publicly traded. I guess we wait and see. The best thing I ever got from owning shares in ICT was actually when that letter arrived, and my football daft son said "Wait. Daddy? You own shares in a football club? WOW!" and then looking impressed. That on its own would have been worth the £250!1 point

Fellow Fans, The administrators say they’ve received “20 expressions of interest” to buy the club—and pigs will fly! Let’s be honest: how many of these are from people who are just here to take the “mick”? We know better than to get swept up in empty promises. Our club now needs real, sustainable commitment and a clear path forward. As we face this critical moment, we need the administrators to approach things with a focus on stability and learning from past mistakes—not a quick fix like we’ve seen other administrators attempt with Scottish clubs. We’ve been staring into a financial abyss, enduring a steady freefall as chairmen and board members have scrambled for last-minute bailouts. Now, more than ever, we must put long-term stability first. Historically, the club has only managed to turn a profit for six years out of its 30-year existence. Season ticket sales, merchandise, and hospitality revenue—which should form the backbone of our finances—have fallen short, leaving us dependent on emergency funding to survive. Now, we need a different approach, one that builds a stable club for the long haul. Here are some points I think we can all get behind: Balanced Budgets: We can’t keep spending beyond our means. We need a realistic budget that keeps us in the game without risking another crisis. A steady, manageable budget is the foundation we need to avoid the deep financial holes we’ve fallen into before. Let’s be transparent—do we, as fans, want to know the yearly budget? This could help set realistic expectations and build trust between the club and supporters. Transparency We Can Trust: We, the fans, deserve to know what’s happening with the club’s finances. Quarterly updates, clear goals, and a Supporters’ Trust member on the board are the minimum we should expect going forward. We must ensure our voices are heard and our priorities as fans are respected in club decisions. Ticket Sales Goals: This is where we can make a massive difference as a fanbase and community. How many season tickets must we sell to keep the club sustainable? Could a target of 3,000 season tickets be achievable? if we work together to bring more people on board. By spreading the word, bringing friends, and getting Inverness behind us, we can give the club a financial safety net and move away from the edge of that abyss. Reliable Income Sources: We have been in this position by relying on a single benefactor or one-off funding sources. We must build consistent revenue streams through ticket sales, merchandise, and community initiatives. It’s our club; by supporting it financially, we’re ensuring it stays ours. Stability Through Partnerships: Renewing partnerships with local businesses is crucial. Historically, local partnerships with companies like Inverness Medical and Orion brought in reliable revenue, independent of promotion or league performance, keeping us steady, no matter where we stood in the league. Smart Transfers: We all want the best team possible but must build it within our means. A mix of youth development, local talent, and balanced recruitment can give us a strong squad without risking another financial freefall. We’ve all given so much to this club over the years, and now it’s time to take the next step together. Let's rally around, bring our friends and family to matches, and get our community fully behind the club. If we do this, we can help ensure that Inverness Caledonian Thistle doesn’t just survive but thrives for years to come. Let’s show up, support, and pull our club back from the edge. Together, we can build a stable, united Inverness Caledonian Thistle.1 point

Whoever takes over, we the supporters must NEVER let the club fall into disrepair again. It is imperative that, through the Supporters' Trust or some similar body, we have a voice and influence over major decisions involving the running of the club. No club - no supporters. No supporters - no club!1 point

That’s the best game I’ve seen at home this season. We were positive and wanting to win it from the start. On a different day, Devine’s shot off the post would have gone in and the referee would not have disallowed our second for a minimal contact with the goalie. We didn’t win, but a lot of positives. Allan a deserved MoM but a close run thing with Bray, MacKinnon and Longstaff. Great to see Nicolson and Cairns back too. So only a point but a lot of positives.1 point

I think (hope) Mark is able to distinguish between those who treated him badly and were running the club into the ground, compared to those who are now trying their damndest to mend fences and bring the club back to its community roots and focus. I hope to see the day sometime in the not-too-distant future where we see the likes of Mark, Ryan Esson, Aaron Doran and Shane Sutherland (and likely a few more) welcomed back into the fold and given an apology on behalf of those who didn't have the balls to do things properly first time around. It wont be the fault of those apologising, but it will be deserved by those who are apologised to.1 point
