Flag/banner To Welcome El Tel

Highlanders are world renowned for our welcoming ways. Anyone have any ideas for a banner to welcome El Tel?

Best idea wins a whisky soaked haggis wearing a kilt!

Like it! Press photographs galore.

I would imagine the away end will have a few choice ones for him although not so welcoming I suppose

What about something like the braveheart scene where Robert the Bruce says you have bled for Wallace now bleed for me - could be

You,ve bled for England now bleed for us

how about 'Russell Osman made you look good' ? :rotflmao:

Another tractor boy great who along with Ardiles was also in Escape to Victory....

I would assume caley 100 is working on a banner as we speak !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "our Banner Man" no pun intended Charles

It would be very interesting to see if the club / stewards / match commander et el storm the stand to ask folk to remove banners......just like they did against Aberdeen.....ahem... :rotflmao:

I think some of the Celtic banners might be a little fruity given their relationship with our new manager.... :rotflmao:

I like it! Bril

"Let's Butcher Celtic" would seem the obvious one.

El Tel is Terry Venables not Terry Butcher , the El bit coming from his time managing in Spain . Please dont make a banner with El Tel on it as this would be highly embarassing .

I hate it when people mix up the Terrys. On a different note, I know that Butcher has given up his media work with Graham Norton taking over Eurovision, but who will take up his place on teh Radio 2 Breakfast Show?

Banner-man!!!! :rotflmao: :thumb04:

lets hope our new manager hasn't had a look on here and seen so many folk getting him mixed up with Terry Venables !! Cringeworthy .

Wasn't it great timing how our new manager had left the Celebrity Big Brother House just in time to sign for ICT !! :rotflmao:

I like the idea of everybody in the North Stand turning up with blood stained bandages on their nappers. That would be a resounding vote of confidence for the new manager.

Setanta would like the idea as well and highlight it during the transmission, good bit of banter and support.

If you have one wear an ICT white away shirt and a bandage, that's the stuff!

Or any old white top, bloodstained along with the bandage..

It be a nice touch and a great way to welcome the big man...

Yes.... I'm quite sure TB will readily understand that message, and will fully appreciate it....
