The ball looked to me to be still in play and therefore he was entitled to kick it out the park if he wished.  The ref and linesman made some shocking decisions tonight.

  • Polworth Man of the Match!!  I must have been at a different game. Apart from a couple of decent passes he continues to give the ball away far too easily and gives up when beaten ,. How he gets a game

Polworth was to me outstanding. Vigurs was controlled and saved a certain goal when it was three on one. Donaldson was class. Warren is now using his experience to our benefit. I was there to see Mulr

Why the bookings? is the game getting towsy?

Blimey what’s going on tonight....absolute shock in a good way...first time in a long time.

Great  Result.

Yes get in only three points behind QoS and only 4 goal difference. Sets it up nicely for saturday

Fabulous win of course, but the 2 injuries are a worry as are 4 bookings.  It will be interesting to hear from those at the game but it is noticeable that Falkirk had no yellow cards.  You would have thought they would be really up for this game, particularly on the back of their excellent win against DU.  Were they lacking in passion?  Were we being a bit over zealous at times?  Was the referee poor?  Injuries and suspensions may well cost us come the end of the season but at least we are demonstrating a bit of depth in the squad now with people coming of the bench and contributing well.

The referee was John Beaton. That should tell you a lot.

Great result and performance. The referee was a joke as was stand side linesman. He let them away with murder, not one booking for them when they should have had several.  He was greeted with a great chorus of boos when he left the field. I hope Tremarco hasn't agrivated his knee injury as he limped off the park. As I said, a great team performance.

Great result tonight in what could have been a very difficult with Falkirk coming off that great win against Untd  so well done lads keep it up

Great result, all the hard work done in the first half. We gave Falkirk more possession in the second but still threatened when we went forward. We lost our most potent force when Jake went off. He was simply electric and scored a contender for our goal of the season. Surprisingly, Riccardo Calder played great at full back and skinned the defender a number of times.

I was late in getting down and missed the first 3 goals but it was still worth going, a great win for the team :ictscarf: More of the same please on Saturday I will be on time

Great result : hopefully the first of many!

Why has it taken so long??

3rd place is a realistic hope if we can keep scoring............

Good team win that. We didn't have any weak links tonight, Vigurs and Polwarth worked hard off the ball, and the defence watched each other's backs well. Up front, there was some really sublime one-touch stuff, Mulraney scored one, made one and his goal was a beauty. Full-backs contained Falkirk for most of the game, Calder looked really decent and Mackay didn't make any errors. More of the same would do nicely!

Fab stuff! Gutted I couldn’t get along. Hopefully Mulraney and Tremarco aren’t on the injury list for any length of time.

Bring on Saturday! A chance to catch Queens on points and equal the points totals for those in playoff places, it’s a bonus it’s at home too.

In 2009 when we won promotion we were 15 points behind 1st place by mid January. With a win and results going our way on Saturday we can be in the exact same position again. It’s definately possible to win the league from that position, we’ve proved that before. It’s not up for debate because you can’t change the past! The playoffs are more than achievable thanks to the improvement we have seen up to now. Well done lads ??

Great result. Clinical first half with well made goals.

Polworth gets my Man of the Match with his work rate and link up play. Nobody had a bad game.

Hope Tremarco  and Mulraney are ok, suspect Tremarco is worst off of the two though.

Bookings,

Oakley - appears to have been booked for diving when one on one against goalkeeper. I was too far away to make a judgement on this.

Warren - turned by defender and left for dead. Took him down and 'took one for the team'. Yellow card for sure.

Chalmers - foul in middle of park. Yellow card for sure.

Polworth - chased after ball but couldn't reach it. Booted it out of the park needlessly right at the end of the game. Yellow card for sure.

Solid win. Great team effort and performance. Nice one!!
