The wind is picking up. If it is swirling in the stadium, a day for keeping the ball down. 

With today being a key anniversary and being underdogs against a team doing well in the Premiership, albeit with dodgy away form, this is a day for our guys to show what they are made of, step up to the mark and get us through to the next round. 

Let’s get behind them from kick off!

Just over 20 years ago the tie against Celtic had to be postponed not long before kick off due to wind damage at Celtic Park.  The tie was then re-arranged for Feb 8th.  Surely 20 years on we are not going to have a cup game either postponed or abandoned because of high winds!

Peterhead forfar has been abandoned.

Is a draw a good result considering it means another midweek game?

Get in ...:.. 1 nil...... didn’t see the scorer !!! ?⚽️?

No shots on target, by either side, after an hour's play!  Does that tell us non attendees all we need to know about the quality of this game?

Sean Welsh was the scorer, according to the lad sat next to me !!!

Well, it looks as if I spoke too soon.   Good on you lads. Never mind the quality, a win will do.

Great result! It didn't need to be pretty, a scrappy win is just as good.

Outstanding win, shows what we're capable of.

Or is that going too far?

:Worth adding that after losing our central defence pairing, we managed a clean sheet against a Premier league side. Well done ICT.

Maybe........, The weather was atrocious ??

Yet another quarter final for us. What is it about ICT and the Scottish Cup?!

When is the draw ?

Yes, great to be in another QF.  Do we want a winnable home match or a big pay day away to one of the ugly sisters?  I'd go for the winnable one I think to give us another SF to look forward to.

If we are to get one of the Glasgow sides, I'd opt for BSC.

Entirely deserving of our win and on another day Livingston might have been on the end of a hiding.  Livi were very physical and it was great to see us keep our heads and just keep playing football.

Did the nearside linesman get a single throw-in decision correct?

Well done to the whole team, despite some dodgy decisions from the ref. This is where it really starts to get exciting - roll on the quarter finals.

A very good display by the team in poor conditions. First half against the wind was always going to be backs to the wall but we handled the conditions well, we’re not too troubled and made a good game of it. 

Second half we used the conditions to our benefit and did really well. Welsh scored direct from a free kick into the bottom corner while half the crowd were watching Storey run to the touch line to change his boots! 

We then did well to close the game out. 

Yes there were some loose balls in poor conditions but we were more than a match for Livingston.  

Ridgers and the defence coped well. Carson was the pick of the midfield, making a right nuisance of himself, whilst Welsh just brings calmness and control. 

White had a good game up front whilst I cannot fault any of the guys. 

A good job well done. Just a shame only 1512 there to enjoy it
