  1. As I point out every time this subject comes up. The club have never (to my recollection) issued advance ticket sales figures...be they good, bad or indifferent. People can agree or disagree with that policy, but it's clearly not one driven by the actual sales figure....whatever it be. FWIW, I'd do away with all publication of match attendance figures as it only serves to fuel the unhealthy obsession people have with them in this country. It must be the single most analysed "stat" in football....and it has least relevance to the actual game.
  2. I don't even care about the attendance on the day. If I'm there cheering on my team, am happy. Bring it on home #ICTFC
  3. Personally, I don't really care how many fans we take as those that will be there, myself included, will have a huge memory of the day ICT lift their first national trophy . However, there will be local people who are starting to realise the significance of this event as shops start to put on displays, press coverage increases and the shop opens in the market. They may be swithering on whether to go to the final and if they know x thousand tickets already sold, it might, just might encourage more people to but tickets. Peoiple may not know that jkids can go for a fiver or that their travel is subsidised so ant postive media information that the club can spin is bound to help ticket sales. I am genuinely not having a pop at the club but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to attract more/new fans. As we start to reach more finals, the novelty aspect will wear off (!!) but if you can say you attended the first Scottish Cup final that ICT got to, and saw them lift the cup, then you will be part of history.
  4. I seem to recollect Livingston having a ticker on their website at one time for the number of season tickets they'd sold. Why can't we do that? What about every couple of days announcing the number? That would drum up interest constantly. Even if they didn't want to announce the numbers, they could say "We're with 20 of 12,000 etc., the person to buy the 12,000th ticket wins a shirt!". That'd get people interested. And anyway, why the big secret? Granted the amount doesn't really matter, but if we did announce it, would lose potential sales? No. If we didn't? Potentially. We've got nothing to lose by making the numbers public and potentially something to gain.

Sadly its a Glasgow mentality they have to separate fans. Falkirk will be using the Clockwork and have also hired a nightclub (The Shed) for pre game swallows. It would be great if all the pubs accepted both sets of fans and if the ICT fans could join us in The Shed showing videos of both teams achievements Im sure there would be no trouble ...but try convincing Glaswegians of that. All the best for the 30th
  6. Is that a Dingwall dog? He does not look very happy with the top on. Would you be happy! Hell, everyone knows spots and stripes don't go together.
  7. This argument reminds me of these competitions in primary school latrines where people clamoured to see who had *****d furthest up a wall. I didn't bother then, certainly don't now. We'll have loads of people there shouting us on and if they have a good day that's literally all that matters. Crowd figures? whatever.
  8. The club have also never reached the Scottish Cup Final ! Personally I am not clamouring to know, i just hope the figures are healthy and that everyone enjoys their day out. However, I also dont see what the issue is to give an update. Its not really protected commercial info as we will know soon enough so unless the figures are really bad (which I doubt) then it should all be viewed as positive PR.
  9. Oh Dear !! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-32844689
  10. Personally a red and black stripe away kit would be good (like the Inverness Thistle strip of the early 70s) and would be worth it to see IHE's face!
  11. Let's hope all Falkirk supporting dogs, and their owners, have faces as long as this at 5pm on the 30th May.
  12. Is that a Dingwall dog? He does not look very happy with the top on. As a Dalmatian perhaps he wants a Europa League game against Hajduk Split!
  13. I have secured two coaches for Cup Final day and am looking to fill them with schoolkids and their parents. I will subsidise these coaches so that the return cost is just £10 for kids and £15 for adults that accompany them. This is about a third of the cost of public transport so hopefully we can get 100 people to the match that would otherwise not have gone. Departure points will be finalised in the next 48 hours. It would be great if other businesses or individuals would chip in some money so that we can organise more coaches and I would appreciate it if you can pass this request on to any charitable contacts you have. £750 would subsidise another coach but any amount is welcome. Please contact me if you can help or if you have access to more coaches (which are thin on the ground). We will be promoting this via the schools in the next two days and it will only be available for bookings where children are accompanied by adults.
  14. Look it doesn't matter how many we have in the stands it is the 11 on the pitch who will matter and if we had one person in the stands or 20,000 if we win the match the name Inverness Caledonian Thistle will still be engraved onto the trophy for the rest of history. I am just intrigued by how many we sell just out of interest and as some have said it may help having a running total to get us to sell more or it may not make a difference. On the issue of embarrassment I don't think the club should have any embarrassment over ticket sales. We are a small club with a small support but the key thing is we are still a YOUNG club and we haven't had the generational structure that all the other major clubs have had. But I believe we must be around 10,000 looking at the sections we have sold and we still have just over another week to sell more.
  15. Thanks for what? Mounting him.
  16. I actually think the black away kits we have had recently have been the smartest strips we have had in a long time.

Yip - Here it is https://www.facebook.com/johndo.mackenzie/videos/10206642649214491/?l=1470990136169471318
  18. A red reverse of the home kit as the away kit next season, would look pretty smart IMO.
  19. The celtic fans don't care about this at all. Their beef is with the refs.
  20. Personally would rather if Josh sat this out. play the u20s as far as I'm cconcerned.
  21. Palace shirt looks great , Bring back the stripes !! I quite like these too
  22. To hell with the design. The important thing is that the 2014-5 strip should have "Champions" emblazoned across it.
