I'm going to take some credit for this result. It was risky but it worked - I went for the draw in the NAPS competition so I knew we'd either win or lose. It was a 50/50 risk. ๐Ÿ˜‡

Well the last game I attended (Morton away) left me speechless but the performance today led to the first smileymometer in a long time. We passed the ballell and rarely backwards - there was only the rare mistake - Ridgers was commanding, made a number of saves including a worldy - the defence held a steady line - there was movement a plenty - we pressed well - we had individual players taking on different roles - the passion and energy was only too clear. The "negatives" were that we were lacking in that final touch on a number of occasions, we didn't take on defenders and hit the bye line enough and we still employ the high balls to McKay & co too much. But as it was at Ayr away it was a good day at the races ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ Ridgers ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Two big stops early doors and looked the part throughout. Duffy ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Dodgy start but rarely caught out thereafter. Devine ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Appeared to be the main organiser at the back and commanding in the air. Boyes ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Looked knackered in the first ten minutes but evidently that is him. 2 goals and a foil to Devine - enuff said. MOM ๐Ÿ’ฅ Harper ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Did have a real challenge with Chalmers and the equally effective right back but stood up to the challenge. Carson ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Welcome back Dave - 100% in all aspects including cheerleading ๐Ÿคฃ Welsh ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ a performance recalling older days. Stay free of energy mate. Gilmour ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Second fiddle to Welsh but did the midfield hard work. Anderson ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Started up front but looked a bit lost at times but much better when withdrawn back. Shaw ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Thought that he put in a great shift and popped up all over the place. If only he had a right foot. McKay ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Took his time to knock in the goal but he is now Mr. ICT. Special mention to Mrs IHE for attending as she has actually never seen ICT yet beat ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ
  3. Very tough game this afternoon and a not altogether unexpected scoreline given the gulf in resources. Fantastic to see over 1000 in attendance though.

No sign of this incumbent leaving. We remain at full throttle heading down the 'Highway to Hell' with him at the helm. ๐Ÿ˜”

Was told yesterday Liam has resigned from the Board. I must of missed the Press Release! I emailed him around a month ago and never received a reply so I guess that explains it. Mr Gardiner is going to run this club into the groundโ€ฆ mark my words.
  8. Is it not the case that a player is free to speak to other clubs, and can sign a pre contract, in the last few months of their current contract?
  9. 9โ€™ | 0-1 Goal. Rangers take the lead through Jane Ross. 20โ€™ | 0-2 Rangers double their lead through Kirsty MacLean 27โ€™ | 0-3 Goal. Sarah Ewens makes it 3-0 to Rangers with a close range tap-in. 33โ€™ | 0-4 Jane Ross makes it 4-0 to Rangers. 37โ€™ | 0-5 Lizzie Arnot makes it 5-0 to Rangers. 45โ€™ | 0-6 Goal. Brogan Hay makes it 6-0 to Rangers. Ended at a dozen. Tough one for the ladies but they'll be back. THAT'S PLENTY!!!

Our Club will only improve when the CEO goes back south. Iโ€™m convinced he came to ICT to grind us into the ground, his interpersonal skills are nil.

Thanks for the detailed comments. I was out today after kick off and unable to check my phone as it pinged with each goal as Iโ€™d have been thumped by my better half for being rude in company, so imagine my delight to see weโ€™d won 3-1 rather than being on the end of a beating. It really sounds as though weโ€™ve stepped up on performance, but we still need to get our shooting boots on when close to goal. Iโ€™m pleased for Harper creating two goals. That can only help him grow in confidence. Maybe 3 at the back works for us after all, at least away from home. As Satan said, a strange set of results today. United will be smarting after getting beaten at home but weโ€™ve already matched them this season and with the cameras in town itโ€™s time to put in a brilliant home performance. Well done guys!

Toxic presence at every club heโ€™s worked at. Should have been sacked for the concert fiasco alone.

True though. From what I have heard he is as unpopular inside the club as he is with the fans.
  14. A very poor December for us with only one away win against Queens Park 1-4, a 1-1 draw against Partick and 0-0 draw with Morton. Three 2-1 defeats by Raith, Morton and Arbroath giving us five points from six games. The winner for December is Billy Mckay with David Wotherspoon second and Max Anderson third. A big change after the six games in the PotY standings. The leader is still Nathan Shaw, second Billy Mckay and third equal David Wotherspoon & Nikolay Ujdur. Keith Bray and Aaron Doran are not far behind, with Aaron back from injury could get more points and if Keith could get a game he could also make an impact! Will David Wotherspoon still be with us by the end of the month and still in the running? Lots to play for in the next four months I hope we can pick up form and thanks to all that have voted and if you haven't have a go.

Winning without Wotherspoon, a big plus Carson back helpful too A new striker in January please

Apparently he hasn't been 100% since we got him, combination of niggles and adapting to our higher ( I know ๐Ÿ˜†) standard .

I am happy with the result today sounds like we took our chances for a change. A lot to build on and after Dundee Utd loosing today gives us hope for something next week!

At least some respite for the club today. Davie Carson certainly makes a difference and hopefully Sean is making progress too after a long spell of injuries. With the exception of the two loanees this was basically 9 players from last year's squad (until the two subs when we were 3-1 up). So hope the players start believing in themselves. Morton going like a train up this league.

Well done boys a good 3 points away at Ayr and we'll done the 109 travelling support.I thought if we got a point today and in our next two games we couldn't complain, but right now I would take 5 out of possible nine points which eould obviously be better. If only Logan Chalmers still played for us.He was a threat all day. Some nice balls in from Harper, but we never have players on the end of them.Could have easily had another two goals today.Big game Friday now especially with United losing today. I still think if we are in about the opposition box we should try shooting more, instead of trying to walk the ball into the net. Notwithstanding all that overall a good win. Anothrr former Caley player Oakley scores a hat trick for Morton.

Yes, a good 3 points, badly needed. Let's hope we can have a wee winning run now, including the impending Sc Cup game. Well done lads

Tomorrowโ€™s is (another) big game. A win takes us above Ayr and gives us a bit of relief in our relegation fight before our games against Dundee United and Raith. A draw leaves us treading water but at risk of losing ground when we play the two leaders. A defeat cements our relegation struggle. We need to show more intent in front of goal, and have a shoot on sight policy. The tippy tappy shirt passing stuff we play in the final third is not working so letโ€™s trouble their defence and goalie and look for a win. That said, Iโ€™m very nervous about the game.

So, 2 wins in our last 8 matches, both achieved when our manager was in the stand?

I wondered if he had a knock when he was subbed on Tuesday.

Keeping him fit for an impending January sale? Weโ€™ve been looking at a number of defensive players and perhaps indicates cashing in.
