  1. Don't think anybody was working until just after 2:45pm. No idea what the issue was but I'm sure we were told it should be online from 2:00pm. Anyway, food for thought regarding facing West. Not a good idea even at the stadium. Surely facing the stand would give a better effect like being in a football stadium and cut down on light flare. Is it possible to zoom in a bit, everything happened at distance and I set mine up on 42" screen. Commentator just trying to do his best, its all a bit new to everyone. Just don't mute the mic next time. Constructive criticism might be better than simply dow

  2. What a shower of moaners mostly. I was delighted to see ICT playing at all. Strange view as my seat is in North Stand but, for the first attempt at streaming, I had my first decent Saturday afternoon in months. Even shouted at the screen a few times.

  3. I think a point in the current circumstances was a good one yesterday. The average age of our team that finished the game was 21 and a half. Mark Ridgers was our oldest player at 30. I've no idea but that may be the youngest team to have played a league game for ICT. The guys should get enormous credit for coming back and getting a point against a good and experienced Ayr team.

  4. Given the injury situation with our wafer thin squad, I think it is too early to start to despair. Winning the league is probably beyond us, it probably was for everyone except Hearts even before the season began, but there is all to play for as far as play off places are concerned and we won't know how we stand in that race until we have those currently on the treatment table back on the pitch. Given the late equaliser, I am choosing to view yesterday as a point gained rather than two points lost.

  5. We had multiple tests to make sure this was working perfectly remember and were told it was. If you're happy with it great, never ceases to amaze me the mediocrity we'll accept from our club sometimes and I'm not referring to the product on the pitch. We should be using this as an opportunity to expand the number of people who watch ICT as it's more accessible, really go out and sell the club to a wider audience with a great product regardless of what the result is. Instead it's our usual mantra of 'ach it's good enough, better than nothing I suppose.'

  6. The players we had out there did pretty well under the circumstances against a decent side. Without Carson, Vincent and Welsh the midfield had a bit of a soft centre but we still restricted Ayr to a few real chances. Downsides are that our finishing was really poor, and we conceded that goal too easily without putting in a proper challenge from the point we played a poor ball into their box. We know we can be so much better than that, which gives hope for moving up the table by Xmas.

  7. A draw was a fair result. Ayr started well but we had the best of a pretty even first half and had a few decent chances. On a different day, Todorov and Harper could / should have scored. Toddy also had one that came off the bar onto the goal line which may or may not have crossed the line i didn’t get a good view of the Ayr goal and would want to see it again before commenting on whether it was a soft goal to lose. Our equaliser came from a cross from the right by Fyffe that Toddy converted. We had a couple of close shaves with at least one cleared off the line, and the Ayr keeper

  8. I can't imagine that there is much that the club themselves will be able to do to refine the system. It's an AI-based system supplied by a company which is not under their control. But I'd hope that someone takes note of the comments here, and feeds them back to the SPFL and the system provider. I know very little about machine learning, but I suspect that it could take some time to actually improve the system - to get it to learn better behaviour. As for the position of the cameras, I suspect that they need a short cable path from the camera rig to an on-site computer which will be in t

  10. Can't see much discussion about the actually game, maybe to do with having to watch it via a streaming services (which seemed to have it's hiccups) I wonder how many actually used the streaming service? Anyway on reflection getting a draw yesterday seems an OK result given that we put out every fit player we had on the pitch or bench and were still 2 short Comparing our starting 11 to last year this time, and only Ridgers and Keatings are the same, although Todorov and MacGregor came on as subs, that really is an incredible change, and given that our entire starting back line fr

  11. All square with Ayr. Better late than never, the live stream burst onto the laptop 15 minutes before kick-off and it was game-on. Inverness had the first chance when Todorov headed off the underside of the bar, the ball adjudged not to have crossed the line. Todorov also slid one just wide as did Cameron Harper. Young keeper Silisano also made a couple of good saves to deny the eager hosts. Mark Ridgers made one great save and the ball ricocheted around the box like a game of bagatelle, but at the break it was 0-0 with Inverness making most of the running. Substitute Innes Cameron

  12. Good to see Toddy getting another goal and a great strike from Daniel Mackay just before half time. The goals will come as we play more and as others have said a good effort from a young team!

  13. Got to be happy with a draw at such as early stage of the season. With so many players out as well the rest of the squad have done well. Ayr are going to be up there at the end of the season and we’ve done well to ensure they aren’t too far infront.

  14. Agree with this part of your post, it should be a tremendous advert for the club. Probably financial constraints will dictate what we can and can't do.

  15. Well worth a point. We were better side first 45 a d should have been two up at the break. Disappointing goal to lose. On the attack, aimless ball forward intercepted and poor tracking back led to it opening up for Ayr to stroke the ball home. Equally for our goal great cross from Fyffe and excellent finish from Toddy. Ridgers saved the day in time added on with a tremendous one handed save. Given our circumstances I'm not disappointed yet.

  17. The youtube footage is excellent. Some decent football from us yesterday that I hadn't seen or wasn't captured on the stream. Night and day difference tbh. Please use that set up next Saturday.

  18. I've heard of other teams that lose £2 off their ppv fee, so presumably we get £8. Not sure if that's all that comes off the fee or not.

  19. I agree entirely. I was a bit critical yesterday but it was the first meaningful use of the system and I quite enjoyed it on the whole. As you have said, hopefully the club can take constructive comments from the feedback and refine the system for next week. I also linked it to my tv and the quality improved as the sun ceased to be an issue, so using the normal camera podium could be a better option. Credit to the commentator too. As a rookie, he did ok. How many times do we ask fans around us what happened or who got the touch etc. He did not have that luxury or any replays to

  20. I really enjoyed that. It felt like I was at my seat. My low concentration and poor eyesight were mimicked perfectly by the AI. The staring and swearing at the linesmans bald head made me really feel like I was there after another terrible offside. The zoom in on the chances in the box worked fairly well until baldy distracted the camera. Corner kicks were a particular problem that will get resolved. I seen more on here than I would have at my seat. Happy clapper all the way.

  21. Did you contact the support channels that the club told people to use if they encountered any problems? That's the best way to finding out what went wrong and hopefully get things fixed for you for the next game.

  22. Do they do season ticket refunds. What a poor service £260 or whatever for this. And yes im being a bit sarcastic like many I’d never ask for it back but a lot of money for a shortened season and then to be lumbered with this poor quality service is like a smack in the face with a wet fish. And i rarely if ever do I complain on a forum 😀 would we willingly donate for anything else with such a poor product I highly doubt it For the first time I actually feel really taken for granted 😢

  23. We need to get in touch with the Wyness Shuffle podcast team and get them signed up to do games. The club should ask Charlie Christie to do it aswell

  25. I sent them an email at 2:45pm to complain that the stream hadn't started and all I was looking at was a blank dark blue screen. I got a reply at 6:15pm with instructions about logging on and asked if that solved my problem.😠😱

  26. I thought the broadcast was decent enough, apart from when the ball was not in play like waiting for a corner and the AI went in search of it. The commentator has a difficult job without a sidekick or a support team in his ear and was ok with that in mind but just wasn’t adequately familiar with the players on the pitch. That needs to improve and he could have been better prepared in terms of recognising them.

    • Inverness CT 2-0 Raith Rovers - Report
300 fans, half a stream & a broken corner flagJames Keatings opened the scoring midway through the first half after Miles Storey broke forward before squaring to Keatings who calmly stroked a low shot into the net from fifteen yards. We had hit the woodwork twice in the first half through Storey without actually dominating. Scott Allardice doubled the lead after the hour. There was no further scoring but it turned out to be a comfortable win for the hosts with keeper Mark Ridgers restricted to catching crosses as Raith failed to trouble him. Jamie MacDonald at the opposite end kept Raith interested with three or four great saves coupled with some wayward efforts from our busy forwards.

Willie Wonka and the Goalden Tickets

Raith Rovers are the visitors this weekend for Matchday 5 in the Championship, and it will be the first game at the Caledonian Stadium to allow fans in during the covid pandemic, albeit restricted to around 300 tier one season ticket holders. It's a step in the right direction for football and hopefully it will be a successful occasion on and off the park. The game kicks-off at 3:00pm on Saturday November 21st, a date for the diary. It might be a bit like Willie Wonka, but from little acorns and all that stuff...

    • Inverness CT 1 - 0 East Fife - LC - Report
Inverness won the game but all credit to East Fife for making this a tough tie. It took a penalty save by Cammy Mackay in stoppage time to keep us ahead after Shane Sutherland had opened the scoring in the second half. We had Mackay to thank for a wonderful save in the first half as well and he was my MotM.

It's the final Betfred League Cup game for Inverness this season with the team Fay Fife the visitors to the Caledonian Stadium on Saturday for a 3:00pm kick-off. No no no, not the Rezillos, but the football side from Bayview. Nothing at stake for either side with Hearts heading the group.
