  1. Just dire. I'd give Ross Tokely a go - can't be any worse than Dodds!

  2. Tokely nailed it on comms; no workrate, no heart, no desire.

  3. I’m not one for calling for Managers’ heads, but if we are looking for a new Manager at some point in the near future, Tokely supported by Tremarco is worth considering. Whether we keep any of the current back room staff should be the Manager’s decision. Tokely is already with us as a youth coach.

  4. I don't think it's harsh at all. We've kept these same guys in place far to many times when we've changed managers. From what I've seen of Wilson on the touchline he offers nothing. He stands with his hands in his pockets doing not an awful lot all game. Watching him today it seems his job is to shout over to the subs to come and get ready to come on.

  5. Dodds must go. He doesn't have a clue what he is doing, the players aren't playing for him and the supporters are against him. The sooner he goes and takes Barry Wilson with him the better. The lack of fight, commitment, desire and quality today was an absolute disgrace. We don't have any kind of gameplan. Dodds is so far out of his depth it's unreal.

  6. It would be a mistake to say that our season is falling apart. It actually fell apart weeks ago with a few poor results by our opponents papering over the cracks which have now become crevices. Our coaching staff are clueless and have no idea how to arrest the decline. We might just pip Partick or Raith Rovers for the final play off place if we are lucky but have no prospect of progressing through the play offs on current form. Time to turn our minds to next season and, within our limited resources, have a serious think about what coaches and players we need for a proper sustained promotion push. Bitterly disappointing from where we were. Too late to save this season but it is patently obvious, even if it wasn't before, that root and branch change is required.

  8. Time for a change of full coaching team.

  9. The ease with which poor teams from the bottom half of the league can come up here and get a comfortable 3 points without having to do anything special is pretty sickening.

  10. Great news. Delighted that he got to show off the goal celebration he’s been practicing for about 2 years

  11. The way our club communicate and interact with fans the fact is we'll never know. I don't expect weekly updates on what eveyone is doing but emails and questions go unanswered and we literally get nothing from the club. I like Robbo but it reeks of jobs for the boys and it just seems like much of the senior management of the club are a clique and there's no oversight.

  12. I wouldn't want Robertson taking over again. To be honest I've no idea why we need to have Robertson and Scott Gardiner at the club. What do they both do? If they identify signings and neither could see we were in desperate need of defenders in January then I don't have much confidence in them. We must have one of the most unbalanced squads in the league.

  13. I take it we sacked the much trumpeted sports video analysis guy that we brought in cos it doesn't seem to do fk all good. We appear to have as many managers, assistants and sports directors as we do players.

  14. You can't blame Cammy MacKay for the goals, and I thought he had a decent game today. Score would have been at least 4 if it wasn't for his saves. I never worry when I hear that he's in the team. And I still think his ball distribution is better than Ridgers' - he very often rolls it out to ensure we retain possession, rather than launch a 50-50 ball down the park. It's not his fault that the 10 in front of him don't know what to do with it....

  15. Absolutely no way Robertson should be anywhere near this team. He was hardly a glowing success during his time in the dugout. Nowhere near promotion with some really good players at his disposal. Complete change of direction needed ,time for the Chairman and the rest of his yes men to grow some balls and make the changes before the stadium is completely empty.

  16. This team has absolutely no desire to win

  17. Agreed. If it were a lack of skill or ability that was the main issue that would be easier to take. However, the bigger issue is a lack of desire and commitment which is very much harder to stomach.

  18. I have no interest in hearing what Billy Dodds has to say post match. I have heard it all before and it wore very thin a very long time ago.

  19. I'm sorry but Dodds has got to go after this debacle. Another absolutely pitiful performance with no sign of any coherent game plan. We are a club in freefall.

  20. The last time we were this bad and we all spoke like this was when Foran was in charge and look how that ended. Had we not got 19pts from the first 7 games we'd be in that said same situation. Everyone is asleep at the wheel and drastic change is needed now.

  21. Same story every week. We dominate posession but do nothing with it. Passing is generally atrocious. Opposition goes up the park and scores from their solitary attempt. We huff and puff and generally look incapable of scoring. It's absolutely soul destroying. If we get nothing out of today we really need to be looking at a radical change of direction.

  24. When moving Robertson to the SD role Gardiner said something like .. "I just can't see us losing out of the situation" The question now is what if anything have we gained ?

  25. I can't remember a time where we were so top heavy management wise as a club? On and off pitch?

  26. Seem to have plenty of spare capital to run a underperforming and bloated management team, while also having the luxury of a Director of Football on board ( salaried or not, I have no idea).

  28. No idea where you thought I was having a go at the goalkeeper. Maybe go back and re read what was said.

  29. Only positive from today, was Dodds never tried to take off Mcalear and replace him with Esson in the midfield. Utter shambles, from a desperate management team who have clearly run out of ideas.

  31. Maybe it is time for Ross Tokely.I cannot see us getting any better.I thought today was the day,I came with optimism and positivity then I thought the team would be in a similar mindset, but no!The best we look like getting this season is 5th(if we are lucky).Unfortunately we are heading in the wrong direction.

  32. I looked at our stats at half time, 67% possession and no shots, that about sums us up. I can't remember a time where I have been more despondent about watching ict, no desire, no tactics, no skill and a manager with no idea. Teams must be rubbing their hands knowing that they are coming to inverness to get three points. Teams have sussed us out now, and if it wasn't for the points we picked up in the early part of the season, we would be in the relegation zone now, and heading down. A new direction has to be paramount for the remainder of the season, as my prediction of ict ending up 5th is on the cards. What a woeful performance.

  33. The state we are in, the amount of ***** building up in our squad - we need someone who has managed with a degree of success. We have some decent players who need managing, and we have dross who need clearing out.

  34. It’s hard to imagine that any other manager could get less out of our team than Dodds has over the last 2 months.

  37. Another dismal performance.Absolutely shocking and Sutherland doesn't get hooked at half time and then we take off possibly our better players.I no longer drive home despondent as I am now well used to it.3rd plays 8th and they (8th)have one shot on target in the first half and score. All after Harper gives away the ball at the halfway line. Carson gets a stupid first booking and he is walking a tight rope for the rest of the game.Inevitable he walked.Lacked any fighting spirit again.

  38. Only thing that changes in his talks is the team name we are playing against.

  39. Ayr Utd by far the better team then again we make alot of these teams look good with terrible defending. 10 games left now wonder if we can do anything to end on a high. Maybe enough to stay in a play off place then again not holding out much hope off going up via the play offs

  41. The more time Dodds has had to impose his methods and make this his team, the worse we get.

  42. Absolutely garbage. Literally nothing positive to take from this 'performance'. Drastic action needs to taken but I figure we'll limp our way to the playoffs if we're lucky.

  44. **** poor defending again. No one picking up

  45. Shane’s hearing has not taken place yet, but Morton manager Dougie Imrie has today been banned for 6 matches and Arbroath’s Swankie got 4 (both before counting the suspended punishments). Imrie’s punishment was for breaches over the same 8 seasons as Shane, which perhaps gives us an indication of the likely ban if he is guilty, although I expect it would also depend on the size of the bets and whether his own team was involved in the matches.

  46. He needs some time out of the team anyway, whether this has been on his mind or not. Seems he is hard to drop even when his contributions are minimal.

    • Inverness CT 3-1 Morton - Report
It was a lovely evening for a game of football, what could possibly go wrong? Well, what did go wrong was Queen's Park beat an understrength Airdrie 2-0 at Hampden, therefore despite beating Morton 3-1, Inverness head for the play-offs. Morgan Boyes opened the scoring with a thumping volley after half an hour. Kirk Broadfoot benefited from slack defending to level before the break then proceeded to earn the wrath of the home support with an embarrassing celebration in front of the North Stand. Cammy Harper relieved Billy Mckay of penalty kick duties and duly slotted home from the spot ten minutes after the break. The scoring was completed just after the hour when Sean McAllister drilled home into the bottom corner. Robbie Muirhead had been sent off for simulation then taking a wee fit to himself and was promptly sent off after 58 minutes just after Harper had knocked in his penalty kick, probably aggrieved that he never earned a spot kick for his dramatic dive.

Well, where do you start. It was clear from the begining of the season that something was wrong. Poor signings, dismal performances in the League Cup followed by an abysmal start to the League campaign saw Billy Dodds removed from his position after winning one point in the first six Championship fixtures and replaced by a man with no track record as a manager. A sort of publicity stunt if you like. After the initial new manager bounce wore off, we found ourselves little better off with Big Dunc than we were with wee Billy. We did claw ourselves up to the coat tails of others but the most damning part of our season has been our inability to score goals, especially at home. Only already relegated Arbroath are worse than us. Our team is now full of mercenaries, loan players with no affiliation to our Highland pedigree and many fans have tagged us as being the worst squad ever in our short history. Where are the Golabeck's, Tokeley's, Wilson's..... Much of this can be attributed to our lack of financial nous in the boardroom, failed ventures and now the begging bowls are being put in place to save our club. Having drawn at Dunfermline last week thanks to Aribim Pepple's first goal for the club combined with Billy Mckay's penalty miss, it's now out of our own hands. LAST SIX: D L  W W L  D

    • Dunfermline 1-1 Inverness CT - Report
Out of our hands now: It ended in disappointment for the 319 visiting fans with news that Queens Park had hammered Arbroath 0-5. To rub salt into the wounds, Sheridan and Welsh were amongst the scorers. It's out of our hands now, but it's a must win next Friday and hope Queens Park falter.  Inverness play Morton and Queens play Airdrie. A draw might be enough, but it's a long shot.

I'm not convinced that Billy Mckay was the right man to be taking that penalty, his second failure from the spot in successive games against the Pars.

    • Dunfermline Ath -V- Inverness CT - Preview
Aaron Doran looks likely to have pulled on the Caley Jags strip for the last time after limping off against Raith Rovers last Friday. Sean McAllister returning was a bonus though but the mystery deepens as to why Roddy MacGregor, Austin Samuels and Nikola Ujdur are not featuring either on the injury list or the team list. Baffling to be honest as Roddy has the midfield attributes required, Austin has the speed and potential and Nikola in my opinion, if fit, would be my first choice on the team sheet. Are these guys on the way out? Add to that seven or eight loan players, then next season will see a massive restructure and rebuild at the Caledonian Stadium. I imagine the board members are squirming in their seats like Angela van den Bogerd at a Post Office inquiry.

    • Inverness CT 0-1 Raith Rovers - Report
Inverness threatened the Raith goal and but for Kevin Dabrowski and his bar they could have been dead and buried at the interval. No score at the break and all to play for in the second half. Vaughan opened the scoring early in the second half and Samuel almost levelled but his shot from distance cannoned away off the post. The crossbar was hit a further twice but the goal would not come. Despite peppering the Raith goal, MotM Dabrowski would not be beaten with a string of saves ranging from brilliant to miraculous.
