    • Inverness CT 1-0 Montrose Play-Off Second Leg (0-0)
Little Consolation: Inverness will face Hamilton Accies in the Play-Off final after nervously scraping past part-time Montrose who were eventually reduced to ten men when Blair Lyons was sent off after an off the ball incident in the 84th minute involving Morgan Boyes. Inverness had dominated throughout, but failed to capitalise on their possession, and as per the entire season failed to create much of note. The first half was livlier than the first leg, but the same problems showed up our lack of quality. We started with no wingers and Billy Mckay as usual in a withdrawn role. It's not worked all season, so why should it suddenly work now. A woeful first half ended goalless and it was on the hour and out of the blue when Billy Mckay prodded in from three yards to score the only goal of the game following a corner

    • Inverness CT -V- Montrose - Second Leg (0-0)
As much as we have criticised the Caley Jags performance on Tuesday night, let's not lose sight of the fact that Montrose are a decent League 1 side with a good blend of experience and talented prospects. For our part, let's keep them as a good League 1 side and that means no room for faffing about. Time has run out now, there's no hiding places and no room for shirkers. Ditch the sideways passing or put goal posts in front of the Main Stand and tuck shops.

    • Montrose 0-0 Inverness CT - Play Off 1st Leg
      FULL TIME: 0-0

All to play for on Saturday, but don't hold your breath...

However, if we continue like this, it will be our final game this season.

Best performer for us was Samson Lawal, the only bright spark on the field.

Alloa 2-2 Hamilton was the other semi-final score tonight. On this evidence, I doubt either side will be quaking in their boots.

    • Inverness CT 3-1 Morton - Report
It was a lovely evening for a game of football, what could possibly go wrong? Well, what did go wrong was Queen's Park beat an understrength Airdrie 2-0 at Hampden, therefore despite beating Morton 3-1, Inverness head for the play-offs. Morgan Boyes opened the scoring with a thumping volley after half an hour. Kirk Broadfoot benefited from slack defending to level before the break then proceeded to earn the wrath of the home support with an embarrassing celebration in front of the North Stand. Cammy Harper relieved Billy Mckay of penalty kick duties and duly slotted home from the spot ten minutes after the break. The scoring was completed just after the hour when Sean McAllister drilled home into the bottom corner. Robbie Muirhead had been sent off for simulation then taking a wee fit to himself and was promptly sent off after 58 minutes just after Harper had knocked in his penalty kick, probably aggrieved that he never earned a spot kick for his dramatic dive.

    • Inverness CT -V- Morton - Preview
Well, where do you start. It was clear from the begining of the season that something was wrong. Poor signings, dismal performances in the League Cup followed by an abysmal start to the League campaign saw Billy Dodds removed from his position after winning one point in the first six Championship fixtures and replaced by a man with no track record as a manager. A sort of publicity stunt if you like. After the initial new manager bounce wore off, we found ourselves little better off with Big Dunc than we were with wee Billy. We did claw ourselves up to the coat tails of others but the most damning part of our season has been our inability to score goals, especially at home. Only already relegated Arbroath are worse than us. Our team is now full of mercenaries, loan players with no affiliation to our Highland pedigree and many fans have tagged us as being the worst squad ever in our short history. Where are the Golabeck's, Tokeley's, Wilson's..... Much of this can be attributed to our lack of financial nous in the boardroom, failed ventures and now the begging bowls are being put in place to save our club. Having drawn at Dunfermline last week thanks to Aribim Pepple's first goal for the club combined with Billy Mckay's penalty miss, it's now out of our own hands. LAST SIX: D L  W W L  D

  6. Great Photos like you I have never seen one of them in my life never mind four the one with the indicator in the top of the rear wing the fourth! Beautiful looking cars with great style that we will not see much of again. They look similar to the UK Bristols. Simple switches and levers to operate not like all the high tech you have now

  9. If you're only £21 then its likely you have free tickets due to kids - I dont think the poster was referring to having kids who would be free paying - more that adults/concessions etc should be flat rate £10 not the inflated prices. Which by my projections would actually save you an additional £1

  13. *** VOTING IN THE POLL ABOVE IS FOR PEOPLE WHO WERE AT THE MATCH OR WATCHED A LIVE STREAM OR TV *** If you were at the match or viewing, please use the poll above to vote for your top 3 players. As a bit of fun, we have also added an option to rate the referee .... Please make sure you vote for 3 separate players. If you make an error, let us know so we can fix it. PLEASE ONLY VOTE ABOVE IF YOU WERE AT THE GAME or WATCHING LIVE STREAM or TV Anyone caught trying to cheat the system WILL be banned from voting in ALL site polls...this is your only warning. **NOT at the game ?** As a result of requests received, we have made a slight change to how these threads work for site users who listened to the full game live on the radio ....... You too will now be able to cast your votes, but should do it in the thread below, and NOT in the official poll above. Just list the three players of your choosing and award 5,3, or 1 point(s). You can give the ref a mark if you want too ! These votes will NOT be counted in the official total, as we only count votes from those who where actually at the game or viewed live streams, but it IS a way for you to participate in the process .... which many people asked for .... a happy medium we hope !!!!!
  14. Well done CDNGirl, nice to get the bragging rights in your house I’d also like to add my thanks to yourself MrCJ for your efforts in keeping this great, frustrating and perplexing game going - I’m glad I’m already a baldy or else the stress of this would have it dropping out! Great fun though and looking forward to next season - cheers all
  15. Could almost have written this myself. Despite a poorer support than us, and playing in a stadium which is probably even more soulless, and pretty much in the domain of the Ugly Sisters, as a newly promoted team they reached the playoffs. Rhys McCabe is an intelligent young manager whose star is on the rise. They have a well-defined style of play where they can pass it out from the back but then when it gets to the midfield, surprise surprise, it doesn't go backwards again and end up with the goalie. As opposed to us where Mark is then forced to kick long and it's now a 50/50, or 20/80 if it's Billy against some 6'5" centre back. They don't score too many goals but they have probably got more out of Toddy than we ever did, and have a bit of a spark in midfield with players like Frizzell. From the games against us plus watching the Friday games on telly, they're my team of the year in this division. They won a trophy too.
  16. Someone once told me that we were trying to sign Paddy Flannery but ended up signing Glancy due to a communication mix up.
  17. I think it's more important that the team turn up than the fans.
  18. Logan Chalmers and David Wotherspoon not getting contract extensions from Dundee Utd.
  19. I still can’t comprehend that if we lose on Saturday we will be relegated! How has it come to this? Even if we win another two tough games will follow. Surely if we go down those making decisions and managing the club will go? Even if we stay up the changes have got to be deeper and wider than the Chairman recently stated, for sake of this Club!
  20. If we were relegated I’d happily see a team from the youth setup in the first team. Journeymen and loanees in League 1 wouldn’t interest me much, especially if we had a mediocre league finish.
  21. Gash awful! Thank goodness I'm playing bowls this Saturday.

  23. So either the club is being sleekit with it's media (quite possible) or we're so tinpot that they don't actually know the regulations (also quite possible). Nobody expected the season tickets to include play off games whatever the situation, they just don't like being fed a BS line about it being out of the club's hands. They also forgot to add in the 16 to 20 discount tickets for the North Stand initially on the announcement and had to change that.
