Couple of RC flying mates were down checking out the stadium roof for the club today (maintenance check) and did some "extra" footage while they were there...6 points

There's nothing I hate more on here than posters criticising other people's criticising of the team's performance. Attitudes that "negative" opinions should never be expressed, or "if you didn't enjoy the game, it's your own fault", are bizarre, perplexing and of no use to anyone. I believe that forums are better places when people call a spade a spade. That's is, after all, their purpose. There have been times in the past, where a result such as last nights would have been deemed a good one. There have been times when that performance would have been deemed acceptable due the fact that we hadn't gotten beat - and a point further away from the drop. If anything, criticising performances such as last night's, shows just what an excellent season we have had. This season has been more like the seasons in the lower leagues, when we went into games - particularly home games - thinking that we are going to go out there and win. If that's our attitude going into games and come out feeling disappointed after seeing a poor display and only a point, then surely that shows just how far we have come.3 points

Let's not get into this "I go to more away matches than you so I am a more loyal fan then you" nonsense. The reasons why people go to particular matches whether it be home or away are matters for them. Some folk wish to and are able to get to most matches. That's great. Other folk for financial, work, or personal reasons (caring for a disabled loved one, for example) only manage to get to a few games. Going to away matches can involve planning and pulling in favours from others and therefore that will tend to be the glamour ties or special occasions rather than Wednesday evening in Kilmarnock. I accept that there are also plenty of folk who don't have the same level of commitment to the team as others and who could but simply don't want to go week in and week out. Of course, it would be great if they went to more matches but they are unlikely to do so if others make them feel that they are not proper supporters. If we get into Europe it would be great if we got good support for away matches (note the optimistic plural). If folk who rarely manage to get to away matches can sort things out in order to be part of that historic chapter in the club's history, then we should all join together in giving the best possible support for the team. Having a small group of regular supporters questioning the right of others to be there really isn't very helpful. CaleyJags Together and all that.3 points

Their fans are jubilant....saying it took ICT 8 seasons to reach top 6 and they did it first attempt. Well...bottom line is....we got there first...as usual....so...they are still, forever in our shadow lol3 points

With County winning 2-1 at Tynie I was feeling pretty crap.......until I turned on later to see it ended 4-2 to Hearts. :crazy:3 points

Brilliant vocals from the North Stand. A sustained, melodic, choral symphony!! Probably the best we've ever had at Caley Stadium. Well done to all involved - please keep it up!!3 points

Hi guys i am not an Inverness Caledonian Thistle fan, but i really admire your team. I'm a Celtic man and i just wanted to come and say how impressed i've been by the ICT squad this season. Your team have been fantastic adverts for how teams in Scotland can flourish if they have enough drive and ambition. With the budget Terry has been working with and the results he's brought to your club, i think you would all agree it's been a fantastic season for you all :P. Only thing that could have made it sweeter i guess would have been a cup win. Anyway i think i've said what i wanted to say. I wish your club all the best on the push for second spot and i truly do hope you guys get it, it is definitely a deserved achievement if you guys get there. All the best for the future folks. :) Vinnie2 points

What a fool. Apparently he had an offer from Ipswich as well and there was talk of him going to West Ham last season as well. But oh no, he'd rather play in the Scottish Division Two - what an idiot.2 points

Very true, St Mirren were talking about Europe at the start of the season, Hibs were high up the table and failed to make a top six, Kilmarnock looked like they had done enough to make top 6 and get chucked out, literally in the last minute. Theres one important thing that I would like to highlight, we are all ICT fans, there are only 5 games left of a great season which will end before we know it so remember to turn up in numbers at the remaining matches and enjoy the final games, what will be will be. If you want you can be a mathematician, an analyst, a football pundit, or a misery, the singers seem to have the most fun but remember to enjoy supporting ICT, Its still been a great season what ever happens, what will be will be.2 points

I can't say I dreamt it, cause I always thought it would happen. Of course there has been times in the past when we've come very close to Europe - IIRC had we beaten Dunfermline in 2004 and gotten to the final, the way the system was set up at that time, we would have gotten into Europe. Queen of the South have been in Europe in the last few years as well, so it was always achievable. The next big moment will be when the 3-1 Celtic win is outdone - and I believe it will be. The way things are going that will most likely be against foreign opposition and a victory against a large English side would certainly do it. IMO though, the ICT journey isn't over yet, and I reckon we will out-do ourselves once more - and I believe that in my lifetime, Inverness will win the Premier League.2 points

Plenty of people on here giving it big licks about what country they can't wait to visit but they don't normally make it to an away game further than Dingwall.2 points

I had a gurn about the St J game out of frustration at some of our play, but I thought TB gave a fair review of the game and he was clearly disappointed that we didn't play the way we can. We have achieved top six easily and had some really good performances this season which is great but I'm glad he's still wanting better from the team. That's how we will stay at the higher end of the league (whatever league is it) next season. Fantastic to have Europe as achievable still, so the management team have earned their money and our thanks this season. Other results went for us again and the Dingers blowing it today was icing on the cake.2 points

Thanks Vinnie! The SPL this year has been the best ever and I don't think it was just because of losing your friendly rivals!1 point

As Killie demonstrated nothing is easy in football. When we were relegated we were 'nearly safe'. We never made it. As Lomas said the point in Inverness was potentially crucial. Equally it may have been crucial for us because we used to have a habit of seeking wins as opposed to draws and losing games we should have won. Expect a tough 5 games with some mixed emotions.1 point

Why on Earth would Reguero want to leave a top six team pushing for second and heading into Europe, for some bottom six dwellers, based in a an absolutely horrible town, managed by a complete weirdo?!1 point

As poor as last nights performance was....we cant win em all. The positive is that we are on a run of now 6 games unbeaten (i think, if not, certainly 5). We have only lost 5 or 6 times this season, thats an amazing feat!1 point

Tade played right wing, said it all about their tactics, he still gets more in a first touch than he does in any shot ive seen. We struggled to get any space last night, got closed down very quickly but we were still unlucky not to score. OTJ nearly had another screamer and Draper was thwarted by a terrific save by Alan Mannus. After County's arse dropping today we are still very much front runners for Europe so come on folks lets make it happen, atmosphere last night was incredible, a few more games with that kind of backing and the lads will pick up results to make the dream a reality, no question about that.1 point

Meekings outstanding, Doran had moments...Tudur-Jones, alot better than the Ross County game and one of his shots was pretty close, McKay ran his socks off (with no service)....we had that end of season look in the first half (and seem to be short of players!) but better for the first part of the second. Andy Shinnie was a bit quiet, and I was perturbed to hear the commentator say he might be going to Birmingham, has anyone heard this? (if he's going to leave Caley at all, I want him at Palace!) BTW the North Stand sounded pretty good on the telly! So nice to be able to sit down with the wife and point out where I actually sat when I came up. Good luck for the final five...lets secure that European place, would love my first away game to be at somewhere like Lille!1 point

To be honest I was worried about that after missing some of the recent action due to action in the Far East but I was heartened that they looked up fer it. The game was poor but it was a case of two sides cancelling themselves up. I was also worried that we would miss Warren but Meekings was immense and was my MOM1 point

And I walked all the way from Chorley fer that. Lets face it on that performance the only way that we are getting into Europe is to form a backing choir to Bonnie Tyler. Take yer kids to watch ICT - I rather take them to the Philpotts - and Foran and Tenploe in central midfield compares to Green and feckin Whyte. But seriously I can evidently feel what wee Chris is saying. At least TB changed it around a bit. His need to keep the four in midfield with two wide annoys me and I feel that he is wasting Draper and I also feel that he is wasting Foran. Stick him wide leftish up front and use him as a target man. Devine looked nervy last nite but I am told that he had a bad nite in comparison to previous games. Bottom line is that it was a nervous performance - TB understandably went out NOT to lose but we just couldn't change it to be more attacking. I didn't think either team really looked like scoring. St jones may have had more possession but so feckin what. I said before the game that I would take a point so lets face it we are still in the driving seat and a place in Europe is ours to lose. Can we not just play four way games in the split. The yoof in the North Stand excelled last nite although I couldn't make out what the words of this song was - perhaps there was too much Of the Thistle word used for my liking. And like wee Chris I will continue to waste my money following ICT because it is in the feckin blood and trips are much more than watching the football !! Next season if it is Morton away or Inter Milan away - or even if it would be East Stirling away - count me in and I will be there till the final feckin whistle1 point

I have always liked that Euro style chanting rather than singing songs about other teams or the ref etc etc. Drums do add something to the noise so keep it up I say!1 point

Excellent singing from the guys in the North Stand tonight, the best I have heard at home .. It brought the team their best spell during the second half. The singing section truly were the twelfth man tonight.1 point

St Johnstone made it very difficult for us to do anything. Yet again people are walking out of the stadium complaining. At the start of the season our main objective was to stay in the SPL. Yet, people are moaning because we have DRAWN, not lost, but drawn to a good St Johnstone side. Tonight, during the game we were discussing contenders for ICT's POTY and there were at least 7. That shows how good a season it has been. 5 games to go, 15 points to play for, so lets really get behind the boys instead of constantly being negative about the team. Also, thought i should say that it was great to hear section E and it would be excellent if we could get the whole stand doing that.1 point

i had a ball of a time. stood next to a german guy called david, who loved the chants from section E and got involved. jamp arround for about half an hours, got home after having a great night, and everyones fecking miserable. bore off. if the games shi*e make use of your time and enjoy yourself. get involved and sing. dont moan about a shi*e game because youve just sat on your tod being a miserable ponce for 90 minutes. rant over. great noise in the second half. enjoyed myself. come at me sweetie rustlers!1 point

If Ryan makes an appearance off the bench tonight it will be the first time a Father and Son have both appeared for ICTFC. Although I am now expecting someone with a far better memory than me to blow my fact out of the water.1 point

If Reguero wants to go to Kilmarnock for the lifestyle, friends etc then fair enough. But am I the only one wondering how Kilmarnock are able to make bigger contract offers than us with the amount of debt they have and after saying without Rangers in the SPL they would be put out of business. Even this season they have been greeting saying they are close to going under. I'm proud we operate within our means but it also makes me angry seeing us get shafted by rival clubs with a mountain of debt.1 point
