  1. I'm going to break my own rule and comment straight after I have returned from the match but not about the game but about some of our so called "supporters". I sit in the main stand and have, for the first time ever, turned on a man and woman who were supposed to be ICT fans. My wife was applauding the team off the pitch and these people asked "How can she clap that p!sh and the team are a disgrace." He got it with both barrels and was told in no uncertain terms that I'd rather see us in an empty stadium than have his so called support. People have the right to be disappointed but should not have a go at fans supporting the team. We have driven about a thousand miles in the last fortnight supporting the team ( my wife was the lady on Sportscene before the Stranraer game) and if this is the kind of idiot who are coming to games I for one don't want them. Rant over.
  2. I bet thats the pair of numpties who were sitting behind me and winding me up at the semi final. The son seemed to spend his afternoon shouting about how '*****' Billy Mckay is and how we should have sold him in January. I really don't know why people like that bother coming to games, if you are only interested in shouting abuse at your own players when things aren't going to plan then I'd rather you stayed at home. If I am near people like that again I might spend my day shouting abuse at them about how bad their support is see how they like it.
  3. Think he might not have got the gist of your Billy Mckay comment
  4. To be fair I agree with them. To any scouts reading this site to get more info on Billy Mckay then he is complete mince and couldn't score in a brothel. I'd go and sign that Nade lad from Dundee if you are looking for a top striker....
  5. Some slight over reaction on here. Yes we dropped 2 points but we played so much better than in the semi final and it was just one of these days when the ball just would not go in the net. I know some folk are saying we looked scared to shoot but, especially in the second half, Hearts packed there box and it was really difficult to get space for a clear shot. Totally agree with one of the earlier posters about some of our "fans". I have had a go at a father and son who sit in front of me as all they do is shout abuse from the kick off at our players and also had a go at someone for a similar thing in the game against Morton. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but some of these idiots simply do not deserve to be called fans.
  6. Half and half scarves? *cringe*
  7. Sensible move by James. After his injury he needs to settle down and regain his position in the team. Hibs are unlikely to go anywhere so that was a big risk. He has good mates in Inverness and if he looked to Owen Tudor Jones we would have seen a sad decision maker. Ross Draper is almost certain to sign given his decision to buy a house here and the fact Yogi indicated he was optimistic that he would. Ross is part of a good group of guys and retaining a settled group augurs well for next season. Yogi and Russell are settling in and when everything gels, we can get moving again. Fair play to James that he retained his loyalty for Inverness.

Nothing wrong with the style of football or the team selection today. If that's what is to come with Hughes, I'll not be complaining. The guys really had no luck today in front of goal - frustrating as it was, it is hard to find anything to moan about....except failing to get the ball over the line!

And what was wrong with his performance today? Picked the right team, they were creating countless chances and, on another day, would gave had 3/4 goals. Can't blame Yogi for this one in my view.
  10. With us only having one home game before cup there's not much chance to buy flags, scarves and so on to take to cup final, to make some money would/could club have stall in city centre in build up to game or if a train is put on for supporters, a stall in the station before it sets off in the morning and club shop open for an hour before supporters buses leave. Just an idea, I think a lot would be sold.
  11. Wasn't at the game but the highlights make for interesting viewing. Appreciate you just get a few key moments, but several of ICT chances came as a result of good flowing passing moves and it seems that a combination of the woodwork and good goalkeeping prevented this from being a pretty comfortable victory. Greg Tansey seemed particularly unlucky but at least he is not frighted to have a go and could well get a useful few in the weeks ahead. With Vincent signing an extended deal we now have just about every main player in the squad signed up until at least the end of next season, and with several beyond that. Of course it is disappointing not to have won yesterday, but with the continuity the contract situation provides, the team will continue to develop their understanding of how each other plays and I honestly think this side can develop into something pretty special. Some team some day soon is going to be taken apart by ICT and I have a sneaking feeling it just could be Stranraer on Tuesday.
  12. Yeah thought you were..........
  13. Lol. Think your comment passed over some heads?
  14. Cash turnstiles will operate for Adult & Concession Tickets...but Free U12's tickets need to be obtained from the Ticket Office and are NOT available at the turnstiles. Purchasing in advance, where possible, is always a sensible idea as it not only speeds things up for yourself getting in to the stadium, but makes it smoother for everyone...including turnstile operators.
  15. The French national team!
  16. Of those six were on target... Yes agreed but posted to illustrate we did pepper the goal! Someone further up thread stated we didn't.
  17. Has to be put down to 'one of those days' methinks. Had that ball not been cleared off the line in the first half it would've been contender for goal of the season imho!
  18. Did notice that stall today and, seeing the red white and blue flags, gave it a wide berth !
  19. I think we should stop over analysing the fact we failed to score seeing as we hit the woodwork 4 times and MacDonald had one of those days otherwise we could have had a hat full so lets take the performance into our bogey ground and hopefully covert 1 or 2 chances to get a much needed 3 points. But first lets dispose of Stranraer and get into the last 8 of the scottish cup
  20. Just wait until we pump them in the final the wheels will soon come off
  21. If we are in there I'll be tearing some seats up and flinging them on the pitch #AMF #CasuallyObsessed #WeekendOffender
  22. Pleasing. Sarah will be delighted!
