Why did Robertson play the same eleven and same tactics as last week? when by his own admission it was our worst performance? , And why can't we show the same urgency from the start of the game that we showed in the last ten minutes, we might have created more chances? There was an old movie called 'White men can't jump', and that certainly applies to our Mr White, I have never seen a player who mistimes so many jumps. Calder should be banging on Robbo's door on monday asking why he can't get a start in that team, he mskes a difference every time he comes on.6 points

Another sad day at the office, The big donkey up front proved me wrong by scoring a goal but other than that he was useless. Shurley we need to change the starting 11, to start with the same 11 was criminal from Robbo. Now I'm not a Polworth slagger but today he was uninterested, too many misplaced passes, he needs a spell in the stand because he's in the comfort zone knowing he'll start every game no matter. For an outstanding striker who relied on short passes to the feet in the box to score, it's depressing to see his tactics where he's got players just lumping the ball aimlessly forward to the big dufus hoping he can head the ball on to nobody. Not a happy supporter tonight....????????3 points

Unbeaten Run or not the games are dreadful bar when Subs eventually done granted earlier today but its the wrong 11 starting every week. Every week Calder comes on and makes a huge difference to the pace of the game but doesn't get a start ?? MOM today Coll he was solid3 points

Yeh we must be sharper to change things when they're not working, same with Calder need to either get him on earlier or give him a start. It frustrates the hell out of me when I see our opposition make at least 2 changes before we even consider making one. Mackay is an impact player, but I'd prefer to see him start a game again and let him bang in a couple of goals and then take him off for white.3 points

I liked the banner which mocked the Christian reactionaries with the message "Non-judgement day is coming"! It's a shame the march couldn't have ended at TCS. This would have challenged the ingrained homophobia in football and allowed us to rightfully claim the "Pride of the HighlandS" epithet again.2 points

Should we start taking McKay on sooner in the second half giving him maybe 30 plus minutes to influence a match rather then 10 15 minutes.2 points

There is a small car park on Grant Street behind the chipper or one on Portland Place across the black bridge (which is grey) might be better avoiding the Nip Inn when going along Grant Street!1 point

I thought that was a much better team performance than against QOS. We started in much the same vein as we did last week and then some woeful defending led to their goal. But that seemed to galvanise us into a more positive approach and I felt we were playing pretty well across the team. I can't agree with Caley100's comments on Polworth. I thought he had a much better game than last week and was looking to be involved all the time. It wasn't his best performance by any means but he made a very solid contribution to the team effort. I'm not sure why Chalmers was subbed at half time as I felt he was having one of his better games. After the break I felt we missed his solidity in defensive midfield and that allowed Morton to have a significant spell of pressure when we just couldn't seem to get into the game. Doran didn't have a bad game but his replacement by Calder seemed to energise the side and we were much more threatening for the last third of the game. Had we not been up against a goal keeper in fine form we would have won that. He made 2 top class saves and generally commanded the box cleanly taking out 2 or 3 crosses lesser keepers might have stayed on their lines for. It is interesting that in his post match comments Robbo said "The unbeaten thing is annoying me now .... I just wonder at times do we get into a position where, instead of going on to win the match, we are happy not to lose it". There is maybe some truth in that but I also wonder whether he is picking a starting 11 aimed more at not losing rather than winning. We need a more dynamic approach from the first whistle if we are to make a push for promotion.1 point

White's goal was a sublime piece of opportunism out of the blue, Barca style. Scully made 3 tremendous saves. Ridgers made three, erm three......erm he had nothing to do. We were a little too little too late. Disappointing result but an upgrade on last week surely. Note for Johndo...... there's no h in surely, surely. There is in Chorley shurely Shirley but not in surely surely Shirley........1 point

Other than his goal White offered very little. Unbelievably static must have been a defenders dream today they hardly had to move. Absolutely shocking that Calder doesn't get a run of games and no coincidence either that Tremarcos game picked up when he came on either.1 point

Absolutely agree with you I dont get why Calder is not starting and White is not mobile he waits for the ball to hopefully land at him and dont get me started on the side passing of the ball no one is prepared to run down the middle with it so that must be the coaching and what they are instructed to do zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ?1 point

But that's not an SLO - that's a contact page. UEFA and SFA back the Supporter Direct Scotland description - which is an individual, present, home and away matches, who supporters know, who the club knows, who the stewards and police know. The club say we can't have that - and for some that's ok, and for some it is not.1 point

Morton test for unbeaten Jags Morton are the visitors this Saturday on matchday eight with Inverness hoping to stretch their unbeaten run to nineteen League games and looking to add a bit of sparkle to the performance. Despite our relatively solid start to the campaign, there's only four points between the sides after seven games. Morton are not to be taken lightly as we found out last season when they came North and won 2-0 in February having drawn the other game at the Caledonian Stadium back in August. After an encouraging draw and performance in the derby, it was back to square one for the Caley Jags with an inept home display against Queen of the South at the Caledonian Stadium. We never managed to make Martin in the Queens goal work too hard to earn his crust and that was the most disappointing factor of an insipid performance in a 0-0 draw. On the plus side, Coll Donaldson was immense and we kept Stephen Dobbie relatively quiet. Morton suffered a late blow against Dundee United a couple of weekends ago when Fraser Fyvie scored deep into time added on. Michael Tidser had scored from the spot early in the first half to give the visitors the lead at Tannadice. They got lucky against Dunfermline when keeper Lee Robinson blundered to allow a Scott Tiffoney shot to slip through his grasp with ten minutes to go to earn a point. However they got telt by Ayr United last Saturday when they were cuffed 1-5. Swings and roundabouts I suppose. Morton had a bit of a clear out after last season, including managers Jim Duffy and Ray Mackinnon. Prominent players like Gary Harkins, Jai Quitongo, Ricky Lamie and Thomas O'Ware all departed. Morton picked up Reghan Tumilty from County and Connor Bell from the Caley Jags. Keeper Ryan Scully comes in from Partick Thistle with defenders Gregor Buchanan and Rory McKeown. Forward Denny Johnstone arrives from Colchester. Jonatan Johansson is the man in charge of the Greenock men after Ray Mackinnon went to Falkirk. Ayr United lead the pack on sixteen points after that thrashing of Morton and a Billy Mckay hat-trick saw Ross County thump Dundee United by the same score. That was the last action for Csaba Laszlo as he was then sacked by Dundee United after a string of mediocre results considering the money they have wasted. Inverness are third, three points behind the leaders with Dundee United a further two points behind in fourth. Ayr take on United on Saturday whilst County are away to Partick. Team News Striker George Oakley is out for a couple of months with a hamstring injury. Nathan Austin made a start last week after missing the derby. It could be time for a change up front with Jordan White failing to inspire the fans after two blank games for Inverness. Morton will be without Connor Bell and Robert Thomson while Michael Tidser, Chris Millar and Denny Johnstone are all doubts. Here's Tidser talking to Morton TV and sounding hopeful of making the game............ There's another game on Sunday at Grant Street Park, the home of Inverness Clachnacuddin. Grant Street hosts the North of Scotland Cup Final which will be contested between Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Ross County. The final should feature many of the young stars from both sides with a smattering of fringe players involved as well. Tickets can be bought at the ground on the day. Inverness CT v Ross County Sunday October 7th 2018 Grant Street, Inverness. ICTFC take on Ross County in the North of Scotland Cup semi-final on Sunday October 7th, with the game kicking off at 3pm and taking place at Grant Street. Caley Thistle advanced to the final after beating Forres Mechanics 4-0 in the semi-final, thanks to a brace from Daniel Mackay and goals from Roddy MacGregor and Jack Brown. I'm likely going to get pelters for this...but I am copying a FB post I made on a share of the petition in support of the March (but here I have broken it up into paragraphs) ..... I genuinely don't see the point or necessity in marches celebrating difference in a country in which acceptance of difference is enshrined in law, whether that difference is racial, gender-based, religious or anything else. Marches are for protests against Government policies in an effort to influence them and should take place where the Government is. What is the point of marches in any random town just to say we are what we are and we are proud of it....what next after Gay Pride and OO sectarian pride ...feminist pride marches, heterosexual pride marches, Muslim pride marches, Wee Free pride marches, Polish pride marches? In your face and celebrating doesn't do anything for general acceptance, but creates polarised division...if independence and OO marches, have taught us nothing else, they have taught us that. In a progressive society people wouldn't feel the need to celebrate their differences because their differences wouldn't matter....and no amount of marching is going to change the minds of people who think differences are not acceptable or change the minds of anyone who thinks they are entitled to walk the streets in their home town without being inconvenienced by people marching to stroke their own egos.1 point

Aaron Doran looks likely to have pulled on the Caley Jags strip for the last time after limping off against Raith Rovers last Friday. Sean McAllister returning was a bonus though but the mystery deepens as to why Roddy MacGregor, Austin Samuels and Nikola Ujdur are not featuring either on the injury list or the team list. Baffling to be honest as Roddy has the midfield attributes required, Austin has the speed and potential and Nikola in my opinion, if fit, would be my first choice on the team sheet. Are these guys on the way out? Add to that seven or eight loan players, then next season will see a massive restructure and rebuild at the Caledonian Stadium. I imagine the board members are squirming in their seats like Angela van den Bogerd at a Post Office inquiry.-

Inverness CT 0-1 Raith Rovers - Report

Inverness threatened the Raith goal and but for Kevin Dabrowski and his bar they could have been dead and buried at the interval. No score at the break and all to play for in the second half. Vaughan opened the scoring early in the second half and Samuel almost levelled but his shot from distance cannoned away off the post. The crossbar was hit a further twice but the goal would not come. Despite peppering the Raith goal, MotM Dabrowski would not be beaten with a string of saves ranging from brilliant to miraculous.-

The great escape coninues on Friday night at the Caledonian Stadium as we host Raith Rovers in a game that will also be screened live on BBC Scotland with Raith trying to cling on to the coat tails of Dundee United and the Caley Jags looking to slither away from the play-off zone. What could possibly go wrong? Savage and Carragher will be joined in the squad by a welcome returnee in Sean McAllister who has returned fit from Everton after about six weeks out. That's a nice wee bonus for Big Dunc. However, he has the wrath from Arbroath after his "tools down" comment in his pre-match interview. As long as he has not got the wrath from Raith. Keep the faith!-

Queens Park 0-1 Inverness CT - Report

Massive: Just under 1500 fans rattled around inside the national stadium for the proverbial six-pointer at the bottom of the table with Inverness looking to get out of the play-off place and Queens one point ahead at the start of the game. In a tense first half Cammy Harper scored a stunning free kick after Cillian Sheridan had handled 25 yards out. Boom! That's how it ended despite QP upping their game in the second period as Inverness kept them at bay.-

Hampden Calling: Carragher is now a doubt after feeling his hamstring. Other than that not much has changed apart from Remi Savage, who has not recovered after he got a boot in the face from Cammy Kerr. Apparently Kerr's boot is OK but Savage is suffering from minor concussion and will miss the next couple of games. Maybe that was Kerr ensuring he gets a game this weekend.-
