I am sorry but the Champions League should be kept to champions of their respected leagues only. If the SPL ended now, we'd have Hibs in the group stages of the champions league - the horror!
 I wouldn't scrap the Europa league though.

I liked the champions league of old where it was 1 team from each country, a cup winners cup and the Uefa with far stronger teams. Not going to happen these days though with football ruled by tv.

Its all edging towards that big European League dream that the hierarchy are after and it will be at the expense of domestic leagues both North and South of the border.

Ridiculous idea. The thought that a team who finished 7th(west brom?) could potentially win the CHAMPIONS League is just silly! Nothing wrong with its current format although I would change the Europa League back too just a knockout system, all games seemed more appealing that way. I get the impression no one really trys in the group stages in the EL.

Ok, so we can ditch the Champions part of it but it's a smoke screen.  Really the question is: a Euro-League. In favour or not?

 

For me, yes.  And a British Cup (though England will never agree).  Not by dropping the Scots League but it will make it more interesting.
