    • Inverness CT -V- Montrose - Second Leg (0-0)
As much as we have criticised the Caley Jags performance on Tuesday night, let's not lose sight of the fact that Montrose are a decent League 1 side with a good blend of experience and talented prospects. For our part, let's keep them as a good League 1 side and that means no room for faffing about. Time has run out now, there's no hiding places and no room for shirkers. Ditch the sideways passing or put goal posts in front of the Main Stand and tuck shops.

    • Montrose 0-0 Inverness CT - Play Off 1st Leg
      FULL TIME: 0-0

All to play for on Saturday, but don't hold your breath...

However, if we continue like this, it will be our final game this season.

Best performer for us was Samson Lawal, the only bright spark on the field.

Alloa 2-2 Hamilton was the other semi-final score tonight. On this evidence, I doubt either side will be quaking in their boots.

    • Inverness CT 3-1 Morton - Report
It was a lovely evening for a game of football, what could possibly go wrong? Well, what did go wrong was Queen's Park beat an understrength Airdrie 2-0 at Hampden, therefore despite beating Morton 3-1, Inverness head for the play-offs. Morgan Boyes opened the scoring with a thumping volley after half an hour. Kirk Broadfoot benefited from slack defending to level before the break then proceeded to earn the wrath of the home support with an embarrassing celebration in front of the North Stand. Cammy Harper relieved Billy Mckay of penalty kick duties and duly slotted home from the spot ten minutes after the break. The scoring was completed just after the hour when Sean McAllister drilled home into the bottom corner. Robbie Muirhead had been sent off for simulation then taking a wee fit to himself and was promptly sent off after 58 minutes just after Harper had knocked in his penalty kick, probably aggrieved that he never earned a spot kick for his dramatic dive.

    • Inverness CT -V- Morton - Preview
Well, where do you start. It was clear from the begining of the season that something was wrong. Poor signings, dismal performances in the League Cup followed by an abysmal start to the League campaign saw Billy Dodds removed from his position after winning one point in the first six Championship fixtures and replaced by a man with no track record as a manager. A sort of publicity stunt if you like. After the initial new manager bounce wore off, we found ourselves little better off with Big Dunc than we were with wee Billy. We did claw ourselves up to the coat tails of others but the most damning part of our season has been our inability to score goals, especially at home. Only already relegated Arbroath are worse than us. Our team is now full of mercenaries, loan players with no affiliation to our Highland pedigree and many fans have tagged us as being the worst squad ever in our short history. Where are the Golabeck's, Tokeley's, Wilson's..... Much of this can be attributed to our lack of financial nous in the boardroom, failed ventures and now the begging bowls are being put in place to save our club. Having drawn at Dunfermline last week thanks to Aribim Pepple's first goal for the club combined with Billy Mckay's penalty miss, it's now out of our own hands. LAST SIX: D L  W W L  D

    • Dunfermline 1-1 Inverness CT - Report
Out of our hands now: It ended in disappointment for the 319 visiting fans with news that Queens Park had hammered Arbroath 0-5. To rub salt into the wounds, Sheridan and Welsh were amongst the scorers. It's out of our hands now, but it's a must win next Friday and hope Queens Park falter.  Inverness play Morton and Queens play Airdrie. A draw might be enough, but it's a long shot.

I'm not convinced that Billy Mckay was the right man to be taking that penalty, his second failure from the spot in successive games against the Pars.

  4. We had a 'Director of Sport' recently. I don't know what other sports we were involved with other than football but he certainly didn't seem to do much of anything other than commentating at Victoria Park every second week and cutting the grass behind the jannies house at the IRA on the pitches we used to play on. I totally see where you're coming from around our lack of direction in terms of a long term vision or strategy. We have never done this well. The club rely massively on the ICT Community Trust to try and connect with the wider community and to promote the ICT 'brand' which is backwards imo. There have been some other steps that have been positive like now having an ICTWFC Academy linked to the club and my daughters are proud to represent ICT but that doesn't bring in any new paying fans. Plus as OCG has explained there's little extra to offer the current fans and in fact, I feel much less valued as a fan than I've ever in the past. Now I see the sports bar is closed for the game tomorrow. We're a bloody strange club.
  5. This’ll either be the last or second last time our home fans see these players, with few exceptions.
  6. Someone once told me that we were trying to sign Paddy Flannery but ended up signing Glancy due to a communication mix up.
  7. I think it's more important that the team turn up than the fans.

  10. I still can’t comprehend that if we lose on Saturday we will be relegated! How has it come to this? Even if we win another two tough games will follow. Surely if we go down those making decisions and managing the club will go? Even if we stay up the changes have got to be deeper and wider than the Chairman recently stated, for sake of this Club!
  11. If we were relegated I’d happily see a team from the youth setup in the first team. Journeymen and loanees in League 1 wouldn’t interest me much, especially if we had a mediocre league finish.
  12. Gash awful! Thank goodness I'm playing bowls this Saturday.
  13. My first time too and will definitely look forward to next season. Dropped like a stone in the second half and even forgot to get a bet on last weekend
  14. *** VOTING IN THE POLL ABOVE IS FOR PEOPLE WHO WERE AT THE MATCH OR WATCHED A LIVE STREAM OR TV *** If you were at the match or viewing, please use the poll above to vote for your top 3 players. As a bit of fun, we have also added an option to rate the referee .... Please make sure you vote for 3 separate players. If you make an error, let us know so we can fix it. PLEASE ONLY VOTE ABOVE IF YOU WERE AT THE GAME or WATCHING LIVE STREAM or TV Anyone caught trying to cheat the system WILL be banned from voting in ALL site polls...this is your only warning. **NOT at the game ?** As a result of requests received, we have made a slight change to how these threads work for site users who listened to the full game live on the radio ....... You too will now be able to cast your votes, but should do it in the thread below, and NOT in the official poll above. Just list the three players of your choosing and award 5,3, or 1 point(s). You can give the ref a mark if you want too ! These votes will NOT be counted in the official total, as we only count votes from those who where actually at the game or viewed live streams, but it IS a way for you to participate in the process .... which many people asked for .... a happy medium we hope !!!!!

  16. So either the club is being sleekit with it's media (quite possible) or we're so tinpot that they don't actually know the regulations (also quite possible). Nobody expected the season tickets to include play off games whatever the situation, they just don't like being fed a BS line about it being out of the club's hands. They also forgot to add in the 16 to 20 discount tickets for the North Stand initially on the announcement and had to change that.
  17. Last chance to vote on this game before tomorrow night.
  18. Congratulations @Robert on winning this again for second time running, my challenge faded slightly over the final weeks. Echo the comments above and thanks to @Gringo for running and keeping this going.
