Apologies if this has been asked before, but what bridge?

In my mind its always been the Greig St bridge aka the Bouncy Bridge

I thought it was the Kessock Bridge!  It is next to the ground after all.

I figured it was the bridge st bridge.

Isn't it the virtual bridge of the merger?

 

 

It's the Kessock Bridge, I had in mind when I came up with the song a few years ago (around 2006 I think when I used to frequent on here as caleylad)

However in the spirit of togetherness it can symbolise whichever bridge within the IV1,2 or 3 postcode area you feel best sums up the city.

I have seen images of the old bridge street bridge (perhaps some of our older poster remember it) and if it was still as impressive that for me would be my choice.

I always thougt it was a card game  and the castle was a symbol of the towering strength of ones self

I think of the Greig Street Bridge when I sing it.

Yesterday it was a Bridge too Far !!

Have in mind the Bridge Street bridge given it's proximity to the castle.

More importantly, what castle is it?

Castle tavern

I've always envisaged that it was the Castle Street snack bar.

Is it not the Bridge club that plays in the Social Club building?

Surely tcs is our castle, our church, our Mecca, our fortress?

Greig Street bridge for me.

And the Castle Tavern.  I do like a pint in there when I am home.

Bridge over the river Kwai and Dracula's castle ?

Definately  not Castle Greyskull....

Maybe 'the bridge' was a cash loan to keep Hearts from going bust?
