Good way to help the club and not spend money is to try and use any sponsors that the club are associated with.i no these businesses love feed back from customers on why they chose there particular establishment.so next time your out for a meal go to one that has an advertising board at the stadium then let the manager no that is why u chose there restaurant.4 points

So Charles gives us a figure of 3000. Dont know the number of debentures or the number of hospitality seats included in that but lets say 500. They've basically sold 2500 season tickets in their first season in SPL. Less than we did in ours which if memory serves correct was a bit over 3000 and that was while having to travel to Aberdeen. I'd also be willing to bet that County have kept back seats in an area that will allow them to sell more than the allocated 2000 away tickets for the bigger games. All in all a few on here have tried to lower their own club by comparrisons with our neighbours. All I can say on that is, regardless of size of town, they are them and we are us. Personally I wouldnt give a feck if they had regular gates of 50000 so long as we can beat them every game. Oneupmanship is not a word I tend to use.3 points

Fer fecks sake - County sell season tickets by the number of feckin eyes of the purchaser. It is like a dream come true fer the gypsies and the opportunity of a lifetime in case it doesnt happen ever again. And actually good luck to them but they will soon get disillusioned and it will not feckin last - even if they stay up. Some will put their life savings on this as I am sure that we also did. BUT just look how their management have fared this season in comparison with our bunch of feckin muppets !! All this thread proves is that Charlie Bannerman and Dougal are budding feckin gudgies and gudding feckin budgies.2 points

Oh dear ! it's all part of growing up I suppose, never mind, maturity comes to us all one day then you remember there's a bit more to life and strips dont matter that much. Just support the team the way you want to.......... that's the best idea... OK.....so endeth todays lesson!2 points

There's no way they, or any club, is going to hold 1000 seats for general admission when they have people wanting to purchase season tickets. Good marketing ploy though....send out information that you might be about to pull the plug on Season Ticket sales due to demand and then sit back and watch as all those dithering or on the fence race to snap them up for fear they might lose out.2 points

You know people, I dont cringe about anything. Many are assuming we have a weaker team than last season but until they play competitively in the league we just dont know. Shane, Nick, Gavin and Graeme S all have another season under their belt and a lot more knowledge and experience. We've brought in some over 25's as well with good experience and we have Chris Hogg coming back to hold and control the defensive line. Andrew Shinnie and Richie will do the same for the midfield. To be honest I see a slightly stronger team than last seasons. The only area I worry about is up front but if we can play from the back, get our passing game working and get behind opposition defences we will score goals and win matches. Who know's small squad may breed stronger play.1 point

There‘s still tickets available for Saturdays hospitality. For anyone going to the game spend that extra fiver and buy a couple of drinks at the kingmills suite as well!1 point

Was watching the lads doing the orienteering in Forres on Tuesday and it was great to see them mixing with the kids that were in the park - some of the youth team were there as well. The Forres Soccer 7s were sharing their clubhouse with the orienteers and the team were there signing autographs and even had a game with the kids. Would love to see more of the players getting out and about like this - they really seemed to connect with the locals and it's great PR for the club. The orienteering looked pretty tough - looked like a really good fitness session and there were some pretty useful kids doing it with them. Nice one.1 point

Was that not when we beat them 1 - 0 in Inverness? I think after the game when everyone was celebrating Mann was asked what he thought of the fans and their backing that night and he replied, something along the lines of "Yeah they were great but it's a shame they don't turn up in those numbers every (other) weekend".1 point

For those choosing not to support the club for football reasons please think again. Never in my lifetime did I thing rangers would be playing at borough Briggs in a league game. These are exceptional times and definitely 'thin' so think of the club during these times, not yourself, and ensure we have a club to love, criticise and hate all in the same sentence. Stand up and be counted, your club needs you1 point

And do what exactly? They are running a BUSINESS and in any business they need to have a product which encourages people to buy into it. They need to quickly find out WHY our support are not buying as many season tickets. Is it because we can't afford it? Is it because we don't find the product value for money? Are there any othe reasons? There must be reasons why we are always struggling financially and I'm sorry that some of you may not like this but it is the BOARD's responsibility to keep this business viable or we cut our cloth even further and play at a level we can AFFORD. I don't want to be negative but it is a well known fact that a very prominent businessman is willing to make a substantial investment in this company but why has he not done so? Maybe he has no intention to invest under our present guardianship. For whatever reason, our men in charge need to find out if he has genuine intentions, what conditions are attached, make any changes needed and then do their utmost to get the job done. While it is the Board's responibilty to keep the Buisness viable, the football public of Inverness has to respond and to be honest, the majority don't. A lot of people have posted that because games/performance were poor last season they will not renew their season ticket. It then becomes a vicious circle with declining revenue meaning players of lesser quality and so on. A challenge to "supporters" then, if you want the club to succeed and can afford it, renew your season ticket and help the Directors/Board1 point

As long as there's a weed in the clubs badge it doesn't matter one hoot to me whether the strip is striped, hooped or predominantly one colour whether that be blue, red, black or pink Having said that it's good to see younger fans in the city cladded in their locals team strip rather than teams from Glasgow or Aberdeen I appreciate that it's big business and a money spinner for clubs to sell replica tops but I feel that it should really be aimed for younger fans and rightly so, anyone over the age of 35 in a footie top looks like a roaster in my opinion It's that long ago I can't remember the last replica top I bought, these days I prefer to dress smart at the footie but in comfort I.e adidas, sergio tacchini or stone island Dougal1 point

I think it's more the context of the shouts that Brown was, rightly, mocked for. His ill researched yammerings were a complete joke. If he put a bit more thought into what he was saying then he might not have been ridiculed as much although I appreciate the emotions were running high.1 point

Depends which way your coming in from. via tore: just follow the road in to the village. You'll arrive at a junction (tarradale hotel on your right hand side and co-op in front of you) Turn left at junction then you'll see the post office on the left and its the next turning on the left signed posted bowling green, You'll be able to see the pitch from the road when your arriving in muir its right next to the primary school1 point

See 1:50 Cheers Caley, it near brings a tear to the eye watching that again even if it was only the second goal...... and a trademark chip for the winner. Younger fans take note! Current strikers take note as well, please!1 point

Being a bit harsh. Looks like a guy who believes that Green has pulled a Whyte and wants proof he has all that he's claiming. I see the SFA are doing the same thing. I've no idea of the true situation myself but if we had Whyte then Green controlling ICT, then an ICT legend that looks like a thug (e.g. Tokely) shouts for ICT to be returned to the fans, I 'd certainly not shout them down.1 point

And do what exactly? Make us languish in the lower leagues for 18 years so that there's a novelty factor season ticket surge on eventual promotion to the SPL?1 point
