We are joint top of the league, for the next 24 hours, with 25 points and having scored 31 goals. We have never been in such a position in our history of SPL. We need you to get your butts of your couch and get out there and support us. This club has done wonders since its inception. Put your petty differences aside and support the 'Pride of the Highlands'.
  2. Who knows how long it will last but we should enjoy it while we can.
  3. I'm a South London fan of Caley (my other team is Crystal Palace)...a great win tonight, to follow up on the weekend...Caley stand a good chance, they look to have a good balance this year with plenty of fight (just Like Palace) ... have targetted the Ross County match in March for my first home game (flights /hotel booked already) so be nice to see ICT inch towards the crown when I come up
  4. Apparently demand is so high that the Ross County admin staff were finding it difficult to get through it all However, they called in help from Elgin City's ticket office and all 12,000 tickets have now been sold.

The second half was more entertaining though, and bbc commentary was listenable. Great result tonight to add to last Saturdays win, let's see out the week at Dingwall and that would be a good week all round.

Is that no a bit harsh. I dont think it was Butcher who wrote the column.

  8. I find this concerning given the attitude of some of these 'morons in hi-viz'. My understanding is only the police have the power of arrest at our grounds and the situation needs to be corroborated, with the most likely charge being breach of the peace? If these idoits are going about heavily handed throwing people out then it needs to be both clarified and restisted in the public domain. In my opinion they have no right to physically eject anyone from a ground. There are certain grounds I will not visit since witnessing idiotic stewards bullying our fans. These people need to remember why they are there..........for the safety and well being of the paying public.
  9. So, ICT are joint top of the SPL and the highest scorers in Scottish football, as well as scoring in every game this season. So, can we do it? Can we keep it together? Can ICT win the league? If Montpellier can do it, with limited funds in the French league, it can be done.
  10. So... How do we go about getting him knighted?
  11. Fer feck sake, can we not just enjoy our wee moment??
  12. Celtic will win the league by as many points as they want to. Forget the title. Top 6 will be difficult enough to achieve!
  13. Alex... terribly sorry to deflate your euphoria, but in "results away to the other team" you seem to have forgotten a certain 4-2 to Celtic at the TCS in August. That would make the "results away to the other team" tiebreaker 4-3 to Celtic on aggregate! i noticed this also and was going to post. on a night like this did'nt want to be a " party pooper",never mind there are always other poopers about
  14. Keep our feet on the ground, the only thing that can spoil us is over expectation. Right now, enjoy the reality...almost half the season gone and were joint top - a season to remember already! Sign them up.
  15. What a great response to the Motherwell game. Take a bow guys, you derserve it. Beat County on Saturday and I will be forced to buy a round in the Innes Bar
  16. Where to start with that!? Horrible first half. Both teams were utterly garbage. I don't think there was much to moan about with regards to our goal. Looked like Foran won the ball fairly and we were still inside our own half when we started to break towards the Aberdeen goal. Smashing ball in by Doran and tucked away by Mckay. We shot ourselves in the foot just before half time when slack play between Raven and Doran gifted a throw in to Aberdeen and we didn't defend it properly thereafter. Hayes eventually scuttled goalwards and fired the ball across the goal where Magennis smashed the ball into the goal. Second half started with Aberdeen on top and Magennis scored a fantastic second goal. With his back to goal he took a pass from midfield and turned it round the ICT defender (Warren I think) and spun him before racing in on goal. I expected him to miss to be honest but he dinked it over Regeuro to put Aberdeen ahead. After this Aberdeen were on top although I didn't feel they created really good chances despite pinning us back. Warren got our equaliser from a corner and suddenly ICT went back on top. We were hitting Aberdeen on the counter and Shinnie, Foran, Doran and Mckay were causing all sorts of problems for Aberdeen. We should have scored at least one goal before Mckay grabbed the third. I've no idea what happened. I just saw the ball trundle goal wards and celebrated the result. Thanks go to Craig Brown who decided not to play with a midfield for most of the second half which allowed us to gain a foothold on the game again. Plenty of talking points from this game. Can't wait to see the highlights!
  17. If we don't win the league it's because Foran bullies the team and Butcher is a crap manager. Sack the board.
  18. Happy happy talk. I'm singing man and that's before I have a malt. Well done to all, a terrific achievement. and yes we are still improvingwhat a fantastic Club to support. Cheers all.
  19. Hat doffed, well done guy's, enjoy!!
  20. I'd often wondered what it would be like to support the best team in the SPL. And now I know!
  21. League Table updated http://caleythistleonline.com/page/TPL/tables.html
  22. 2nd in the league and yet we still have the worst defensive record. It's becoming like the Pele days all over again!
  23. Absolutely buzzing! Well done guys, well deserved! Dont know who it is, whether its Butcher or whoever else, but these boys are obviously still grounded. They know they have achieved nothing until the fat lady sings. It could have went so pear shaped after Saturdays great result, but they obviously know it would have meant nothing had they lost tonight. And they didnt, so well done!!

  29. Sounds like a pretty grim game so far.

  31. In the style of the great Topaz MacGonagall
  32. I think they should take their last championship off them.... oh wait
  33. Is that the preview Scarlet, ye varlet.
  34. Matthew Cooper, Martin Laing, Gavin Morrison, Liam Polworth, Kyle Whyte all youngsters who came through the ICT ranks. Before them there was Nick Ross, Shane Sutherland, Graeme Shinnie. One third of our first team squad is made up of lads brought through the ICT youth system. I'd say thats probably a very good average. As part of the development at Arsenal, and other big English clubs, they will put a dozen or so youngsters, who they believe are strong prospects, out on loan at no cost to other clubs. Most of those kids will never play for Arsenal but they will be seen by other clubs and Arsenal will make money out of them. Contrary to what you seem to think Oddquine ICT are running a youth system, an U-20 squad and a first team squad. Unfortunately because the SPL decided to scrap the U-21 league three or four seasons ago clubs didnt bring players through to that level and had to let many of them go. Now we find we have to play an U-20 league but dont have the players for it so we have to bring some in. We are also playing 16 year olds in our U-20 squad. I dont think your gripe is really about what players are coming through though. I think its more about you not getting the information on a regular basis and there I have to agree. ICT are crap in deciding what they feed to the public.
  35. It's called standing up for yourself and your mates . Fight fire with fire , the bullies dont like it and tend to leave you be . Maybe 30 years ago when I was at school I may have "ran with the gang" and behaved like that. But I have grown up, and done not too bad at standing up to bullies and stewards with humour and "intelligence" in recent years. Who's intelligence do you use? I put intelligence in " ", because it all depends on the amount of beer consumed.
  36. The only way we'll get 1,500 more than our capacity is if we get Elgin to distribute the tickets.
  37. Elgin in 'biggest scandal since 1993' shocker
  38. I'm trying to count all the fks I don't give. They're everywhere.

Calder, Duncan, Munro, Wilson, Christie, Stewart, Wyness, Tokeley, followed by the likes of Foran, Golly, Rooney, Blackie, Mann and Robson. Does anyone think more or less of Barry Robson and Ian Black because they joined the old filth after they departed. tbh hate Aberdeen just as much as the filth, so does that reduce Johnny Hayes to any one else?
  40. I'm happy with what we have, would rather see any money that is aside (if at all) for Jan signings put into the pot for getting players on longer term deals. We need to keep all or at least most of what we have. Also want to see early scouting to pick up some freebies in the summer, especially for positions we know we could be left short after the summer. Sad to have to think about players leaving and the squad for next season but given the financial state what choice do we have - hopefully a cup final will boost the funds for next year ;)
