  1. I had overlooked his painting 'skills'. There are large parts of the stadium in need of a lick of paint. Maybe we should retain him and get full value for his salary
  2. No rules on that, but there are rules preventing him leaving the pitch without permission in order to tend to a call-out.

Booked my trip to Scotland a few weeks ago hoping the draw would be kind, alas no game at TCS for me. An away trip to Falkirk instead.
  4. Will be overjoyed to get rid of Boden, no matter how bad foran was at getting the best from the players he had, to me Boden just never looked remotely interested or motivated. Terrible waste of money. If true about Raven it is sad to see, however I think he struggled with the pace last season and would be another big wage bill
  5. Good news I have hesitated to renew but now will. I am on record as saying that the entertainment was always better when we were in the old First division so that is another plus. Just to make things even better, due to fewer television appearances most games will be played on the Saturday, I wonder if they are planning on dropping prices for the car park?
  6. Quiet! But friendly.
  7. Depends what your definition of huge salary is? If it is £1500 (or around that figure) that he is getting paid, with all the talk of people being laid off in the wake of our relegation, then yes, out the door. I'm sure OFW weekly wage is more than some people at the clubs monthly wage. It probably is more than what 95% of folk get paid in Inverness in any other line of work. Footballers wages are completely out of control. Average guys like this, floating around small clubs potentially hoovering up close to £100000 a year. Ridiculous. plus all his money from his painting! (Joke btw)
  8. I'd suggest we'll let him go for free in order to get his huge salary off the wage bill.
  9. I have often thought that there was merit in having some part time players in the squad especially if their local employers were flexible enough to perhaps adjust their hours to let them train a couple of mornings a week with the full timers. It would cut our costs and enable us to attract some promising lower league players who are maybe and understandably not willing to take the risk of turning full time and abandoning careers outwith football.
  10. Aye.. He couldn't cut it 6-7 years ago when he was full time, Now over thirty and slowing up there is no way Rory is good enough now.
  11. Even if it's our own sprinkler system?!!
  12. I remember being at a wedding when an uncle tapped me on the shoulder and whispered "taxi'll be here in 2 minutes" and off we went to see the local team. Nobody will notice if you disappear for a couple of hours - unless perhaps you are the best man. Or groom.
  13. With regard to Rory McAllister, and his previous of turning down full time gigs to remain a plumber and get a high PT wage, is there anything in the rules that says we couldn't sign him for a year part time in the championship or do full time clubs have to only sign full time Players?
  14. Tram to Edinburgh gateway and change onto a service heading to Montrose then get a bus or taxi to Brechin.
  15. Hey TopSix My last match was our home win against St J last season. Thing is I will be at a wedding in Dundee on the day we play Dundee utd away and I won't be able to go. Same result against Falkirk will do me fine.
  16. As I recall, OFW started to make mistakes after the injury or injuries he encountered. If he managed to get fully fit again why would he not be able to, ultimately, be able to perform to his former capability? I feel quite sorry for the guy since these injuries must have been, from all accounts, very debilitating and confidence-reducing. But at this stage in our career we can't afford to have a player who either is never going to regain his capabilities or simply is still not fit enough for the real struggle ahead for ICT to get back upstairs.? And I agree that nick Ross is not enough of a really pulsating, aggressive player to push us forward to the top of the Championship. He's clean cut in his footie perhaps but neat passing of just a few yards here and there does not constitute a penetrating attack.
  17. Davidson could become the third ICT player whose father played for both Caley & Thistle.
  18. There's absolutely no chance we'll get a fee for OFW.
  19. Will be very surprised if we go any further, nice lad, will probably have good HFL career and father a legend. We must remember that not many HFL players have the attitude, commitment or consistency needed to succeed in full-time football.
  20. Raven would be worth at least another year at Premiership level never mind the Championship. I would be very disappointed to see him let go.
  21. Maybe you read that Yule won't appear until December.
  22. Paul Bradshaw as well, he was some boy. Imagine Steve Paterson releasing you because you weren't professional enough.

I heard Robbo on Sportsound yesterday and was very impressed by what he had to say .He spoke with a lot of passion and determination to do well .Has been over the border looking at a couple of new signings but didn't give anything away to jeopardise that . Apparently although he hasn't managed for five years it's not been for the want of offers ,but the right one came up last week !! Spoke highly of our fan base of loyal fans although not huge but hopes that will change . It felt like the backbone is evident once more . Personally I can't wait for season to start and wish him every success and hope he can do the necessary for us . Go Robbo !!!!!
  24. Please enlighten us Dougal, will you now be buying a season ticket?
  25. Because (some of) these former players are good ones who might be available so they might be considered less of a risky, unknown signing. If we were offered the services of former players like Shinnie x2, Watkins, Christie you'd say no because they were former players? Doubt it. ETA: Just clocked who I was replying too
  26. When he grows up he want to be Darren Dods....
  27. So maybe Meekings isn't away just yet then

A replay of your last ICTFC match? Try to make it to a Dunfermline match away. The Bridies are the highlight of the Championship.
